Read the reviews on Google and visited Car Planet. 1st impression upon meeting Shameem was the word warmth. He put me at ease and spoke to me at length, he is a busy man though. He was all ears and gave me options. My 11 year old jeep had a factory fitted sound system and wanted a change.He explained the process patiently and I am a patient person, with all the other ongoing projects ,he was called by the other clients in the studio. Then I decided on the date and got myself a state of the art system.His team is dedicated and professional and did a neat job. I would say I got more than expected. Shameem and his team did a fabulous job in installing Tesla Style dashboard Screen on my Cadillac CTS. It was quite a tedious task but it was executed flawlessly by his team. He even went an extra mile by guiding me through the new Set up and explained me on the functionality of the new screen. Highly recommend them for such modifications and upgrades.

I am very particular of the sound system in my Car as I commute a lot between various Emirates. Carplanet is located in Al quoz right on SZR and if many don’t know it was previously highly acclaimed Gulf Wireless. The technicians and the team are the same. A friend recommended them to me. I got a 5 channel amplifier and a Sub installed. What sets them apart is how they do the install. To start with they just don’t splice and join wires like the rest. They have a plug and play approach where they make a T harness that will not ruin your existing OEM wiring. They take the time in preparation of the harness wires. Each wire is soldered, volts tested and then wrapped with heat sink. They also use the very best (i.e Hertz, Monster etc cabling). For my subwoofer they fabricated special clamps to have it cleanly installed in my cargo area. After the install they calibrate the sound using their DSP precisely on various genre of music to give you a perfect sound stage in your car. I am an audiophile and a home musician so I witness them doing it. The workshop supervisor is Sumeem and he knows his stuff. He has me booked later for a conversion from sync 2 to sync 3 on the Ford edge for Carplay and Android Auto.My only regrets is that I wasted time and money previously on my other cars at various other sound installers around um ramool and al Quoz. Wish I had known about car planet earlier. I highly recommend them. You will be a happy camper. Have attached some pics of my install.

I had been suffering from significant rattling issues with my BO Audi RS5 system. I searched online and found Carplanet - Their reviews were impressive, so I took a chance and visited. Shameem, their Manager, discussed options available, his knowledge was in-depth, and his patience led us to select the correct setup. He even suggested I take a slightly cheaper subwoofer than I wanted to achieve a crisper base—a very ethical person who was concerned more about results in quality over slightly more revenue. Carplanet’s expertise on Amp and Sub setup, along with full soundproofing, has wholly resolved all rattling issues and now finally I have some amazing sound. The Hertz Mille 1000 Watt 4 channel amp with an Audison APS D 10inch sub has my car thumping with super clean bass. The new amp also improved the existing BO speaker setup. I would highly recommend Carplanet for anyone who requires in-car audio upgrades. 5 stars for service and execution!!!

Update from 5 stars to the lowest: worst after sale support, the board was damaged and delivered for the workshop almost 50 days ago and still not able to fix it, instead the team installed the old ac unit (without connecting sound system) until its fixed. And still waiting for updates, every time I try to call the team they keep pushing and saying i will update tomorrow and they never did until I call back (if they answered).After more than 5 months of searching for a head unit for 2012 Mustang, I was finally able to install Sony on my vehicle with the help provided by Philip who provided me a very reasonable price.

I went to Car Planet (aka GWT) to get an audio installation on my Jeep Wrangler JKU. The guys were very professional, and gave good advice on my requirements. They use more high-end products than most car audio shops, so you can expect them to be more expensive than others, but the difference is in the sound. I got Hertz woofers and tweeters for my dash and sports bar, as well as a Pioneer 5-channel amp, with a JL Audio subwoofer I imported myself. As a straightforward installation it only took a day or so. The sound is on another level, and Im super happy with it. I would highly recommend these guys to audiophiles who want a higher quality sound for their in-car audio.

I used Car Planet to fit new speakers in the car I am renovating. The service was top notch and they communicated in a frank, honest and timely manner. The car was in a garage nearby, Philip and the team were more than happy to visit the car and do the work at its location. There was a slight unforeseen delay. Shameem and his team have been brilliant in helping me upgrade my music set up in the jeep.wrangler. He did not suggest unnecessary equipment and was very helpful in ensuring that the set up is done in stages. they did not suggest the most expensive speakers or amps, just to get the customer to pay more. Weve installed the latest Pioneer infotainment system, weve had an issue with our car which coincidentally happened after the installation. Shamim extended his help and assistance to troubleshoot the issue and brought Pioneer people to check it as well, it was an issue not related to the system, he even arranged with a specialist garage he even came along with me. The car was fixed, it was Air Mass Sensor needed to be replaced. Thanks to Shamim for this excellent service he is very polite, I will definitely buy from them again.
