A nice cafe for breakfast. A bit out of the way, but with great parking. Very cosy atmosphere and quick and friendly service. Coffee was good (my favourite Ethiopian available as French press). The menu has quite a few options with influences from all around the world. My brisket Benedict was a little on the dry side, missing some spinach or similar. But will come back to try the other alternatives soon.

Their food is not fresh...our meals tasted packaged and my husbands Benedict was hardly edible, the meat was so tough he couldnt even finish it. Not recommended unless you like your food processed and full of preservatives.

We’ve visited Bystro a number of times for breakfast and it’s safe to say that it’s one of our favourite weekend brekkie spots.Our verdict: Definitely pay them a visit if you haven’t already. Their dishes are delicious. It’s also a great option if you can’t decide on where to go for breakfast.We Ordered:Huevos Rancheros: Re-fried beans, roasted rancheros sauce, corn and black bean relish, queso blanco, fried eggs over a grilled tortilla. Filling and delicious. This dish is definitely our favourite. Great balance of flavours with this popular Mexican breakfast dish.Turkish eggs: Whipped eggplant, yoghurt and feta with poached eggs, chilli butter with sourdough bread on the side. Another great option for breakfast. We wouldn’t have minded some extra spice to it though.Golden Latte: Almond milk, turmeric powder, ginger, cinnamon powder and coconut oil. This was a surprisingly delicious drink. Very different to the usual warm drinks we would normally order, but we thought we’d give it a try. Best part is that it’s vegan!Tuscan Latte: A cafe latte with chocolate swirls around the cup. A delicious cup of coffee with a nice chocolate finish.Almond Croissant: We love our almond croissants! And this was definitely one of the best we’ve tried. The pastry was flakey and had that great crunch but softness in the inside layers. The almond paste had a nice texture and flavour and theyre not stingy with the amount used.The Venue: Great cosy, open space with a glass display in the middle showcasing their baked goods and homemade chocolate. A chalkboard on the wall at the other side of the space, with well drawn out food specials and foodie sayings.The Service at Bystro has always been consistently good. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming.

A nice breakfast cafe with many options. You want to order and try everything, but the portions are big, so you really can’t. The steak tacos or the cubano can feed a table of 4. Big salad portions too.Yes, I said breakfast cafe but ended up ordering lunch 😃 The smoothies maybe count as a breakfast order 😉 Yes, they were amazing!Quick service, not a long wait, and looks to be family friendly. Having read many reviews, it made it feel as the best kids area in town. It’s not, it’s like a corner with some paper and crayons. So bring the kids to eat, they can draw at home.

Very cute space and the staff are attentive without being overbearing. They made a mistake on our bill and corrected it quickly once we pointed it out. The food is pretty good - while t wont set off fireworks in your mouth, youll enjoy a good meal :)

The short rib breakfast hash is a thing of beauty , one of the best breakfast dishes Ive had- Edit- my original review was for the old location, now they have relocated it is a complete contrast. The venue looks like its been done on the cheap, or recycled from a previous tenant, but it has completely lost its soul. Menu lacks many of the old favourites and the food quality has dropped significantly. Such a shame to have lost such a great venue.

I googled best breakfast in Dubai and this came up; topping the 2016 poll as best cafe in Dubai. I had to try the eggs and beef brisket with patatas bravas but There was so much else that was tempting. Next time inshaallah. Great place with an antipodean (Aussie) owner and feel; so expect good food, coffee and sweet treats with an eclectic atmosphere. To top it off, most of the food is organic and the owner, Josh, is nice.

It’s a pity that this place spoiled so much.. The menu, portions and the quality was better before, when it was on Sheikh Zayed road. I loved to have breakfast or lunch there, but not any more

Personally I loved the place and would definitely visit again. The atmosphere is nice with cool decorations and a simple yet creative menu. I was there for brunch and founs the perfect recipe; poached eggs with ribs, bacon and swert potatoes which were just perfect. They also had a nice range of sweets and we tried the dark chocolate bar which was filled with creamy peanut butter. It was excellent too.Highly recommend the visit.

My absolute favourite thing at Bystro is their shrimp tacos, but I haven’t been disappointed with anything else I’ve tried here. The space is a bit hot, but love it otherwise.

Absolutely love this place, its always packed on Fridays (probably Saturdays and any day of the week for lunch as well) reason? The food is amazing, healthy and indulging options available, also innovative menu. Vegan too, also they can make a few changes to accommodate a vegan request. Find more children here on weekends as a lot of families come here. Coffee is stunningly good. Great place to meet friends.

Disappointed.They brought us the wrong dish so we had to wait longer. I guess they were in a rush to cook, it was not cooked properly. Tasted really really bad.Even the coffee was bad.Used to like this place but I guess will not come anymore.

I dont know if the management has changed but the quality of food first of all is gone down the drain. I am a regular of their weekend roast and this weekend they gave me their breakfast brisket as the beef to my roast dinner. In addition to that one baby potato on the plate. Their gravy salty as ever. To top it off the ice tea was served without ice.

Love the menu here. Contemporary and interesting. Golden latte is something everyone must try, yum.

The coffee is nice. Good luck finishing your their chocolate mousse, its not a big portion but its very filling!!

Very popular with the westerners here. Food was great, mine bit too meaty but I really should have gone for a different dish. The ingredients were fresh and food flavoursome. Lovely atmosphere to the place, very chilled and laid back. Theirs a kids play area too. Its a bit difficult getting taxis early morning when we left, but we eventually got one.

I used to come here all the time for the fried chicken n’ waffles (the best I’ve found in Dubai). Since the merger, the restaurant has removed it from its menu. Please bring it back!
