This restaurant placed inside Burj Al Arab is an expensive one. The iftar buffe is what I tried and the food was awesome. There was a lot of varieties including veg and non veg items.Especially the grill items and sea food was really good.Indian Arabic dishes are made with authenticity and the customer experience is also good. Staff were really active and attentiveThe seating is a bit congested when lot of customers are there. But the restaurant is placed with nice views. A lot of picture spots in and around the place.
Best avocado toast I’ve ever had!
One of the best Arabian food I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was very friendly, made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience in this restaurant. Amazing service, specially Deenas and Hazems attention, delicious food, exquisite decoration and ambience. Truly recommend you visit it!
Rally a good service we got 😇
Amazing service, yummy arabic foodSecond to none!
Worth every penny. We had a great night and the food was beyond amazing. We met the chef and he prepared a special dish for us. After dinner we walked around the hotel site. It was a night to remember. Can’t wait to visit Dubai soon and eat there again.
Overstated experience in that paid way too much for the food and the drink and it was just a general buffet .. and no food that I haven’t had in my own hotel buffet .. nothing wow or extravagant and the dining area was less grand than I thought it would be. Paid £15 for the mocktail below ‘golden arab’ .. and it doesn’t even look posh !! .. staff were brilliant and attentive but that’s like anywhere you go in the UAE.. the building is beautiful though and so is the drive up to it so the wow was that !!
Noir has made my dining at Al Iwan an extraordinary experience. Amazing food and extraordinary service. Thank you so much Noir and all the staff. The finest Arabian food in the most luxury palace setting. Noir’s personal guidance and serving my food has made this great experience even 100 times better. Had so much fun and will definitely return!
Me and my husband enjoyed a lovely anniversary meal during our stay in Dubai. The staff were all very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The food was delicious, we both came out barely able to walk lol. We managed to save on the cost as it was Restaurant week. A wonderful evening and well worth a visit. Check online for offers before booking.
Beautiful restaurant nicely designed and decorated. I loved the ambiance. Its warm and relaxing. Everything is perfectly set up. We felt welcomed all time. Food was great. Staff were professional. Service was excellent. A bit overpriced
Enjoyed every moment. The kudos to the team at Al Iwan make sure you experience is a memorable. The food is outstanding and leave some space for a wide spread of deserts. Dubai is surely the king of hospitality and Jumeirah by far tops.
Best food
Awesome food and buffet....Very friendly and helpful staff....U get everything you can expect from a restaurant in Burj Al Arab....Will def. go back for its great seafood....
Its always my dream to visit burj al Arab one day. And it came true. Dining here is already a plus bonus. Food here is so good and my advice use your entertainer voucher to get lower price. 3 times I have visited the place.
Great choice of food, nice ambience and friendky staff
Superb hospitality, Gesture, warmth welcome, attention focused by the staff, amazing food, best-in-class environment, delicious complimentary Anniversary cake, lovely rose for my wife on our anniversary, had a memorable time....unforgettable
It was good. The food was good but the staff werent too helpful. Definitely think its overpriced. Mb if the staff were kinder it would be up to par with the other restaurants in the burj
Unfortunately what was to be a pleasant visit to Burj Al Arab for a friend and I resulted with me being embarrassed and speechless after I found hair in my food.I received an apology and hoped it would just stop there, but the excuses followed. “Ma’am we can’t control if hair falls in our food from other guests, but we try our best.” I think that’s what bothered me more not owning up to mistake that was possibly made by them and pointing fingers at others. After the second apology came from two different people placing blame that hair most likely came from the other customers due to it being a buffet I had to say my peace. I told the head chief that an apology would have been acceptable but asked him nicely not to point fingers on other people. He stated he understands but just wants us to be happy. He offered a special dish from the kitchen which I really didn’t care to have only because there was plenty of food in the buffet and there was no need to make us anything.I wish it stopped there. My friend who was visiting from overseas felt uncomfortable. We got stares from the hostess, manager , and other employees. I didn’t feel like we could eat our food in peace because they were afraid we would complain about the issue we faced earlier. As a gesture from the restaurant they gave us two roses, thank you. I wasn’t asking for a meal to be compted because even the manager saw that I lost my appetite and stopped eating. They insisted on us eating more and offered us different types of foods and drinks because they knew that we were a bit upset. When we finally gave in to have some Turkish coffee I soon found out that we were charged for it when the bill came around. They were quick to remove the plate that had hair on the food which unfortunately I could not take a picture of.I’m hoping they walk away and learn how to deal with situations like this if they may occur in the future.
Quite disappointed to be honest. Atmosphere was great, food and service was good but nothing amazing, especially taking the price into account. Booked for a birthday meal and the only thing that happened was that the host said happy birthday - no cake or anything.
For me one of the most beautiful locations if you want to enjoy exzellent food in a beautiful atmosphere. I really can recommend the buffet. A good mix between seafood and traditional arabic food. Thanks a lot for the specials from your kitchen which we enjoyed a lot.
Fabulous and amazing food at li iwan restaurant. Shout for noor, leena, adrian, mary for the amazing service. we enjoyed a lot thank you
That mutton mandi stole my heart!!!True love i tell u..Wonderful experience...
Excellent ambience, very friendly staff and fantastic food. Enjoyed thoroughly the visit to Al Iwan restaurant.
Amazing restaurant. Very tasty. I really recommend it.
Nice restaurant but very expensive even though its in burj al arab
Attended the iftar. Very good ambience with live music and buffet food displayed beautifully. Exemplary service. Mediocre food quality, taste and variety. We expect better from such a prestigious hotel.I would only recommend this place if you have not yet visited burj al arab. (Iftar buffet costs around AED300 each - fairly cheap for entry to the hotel). I would not recommend this place to anyone who has been to burj al arab before.
E went for dinner buffet. It was our second time at the iconic Burj al arab and first time in this restaurant.Luxury interiors. Love the deep red color. Lovely ambience.Arabic buffet. No live cooking station. Food was ok but nothing memorable. You can use entertainer voucher otherwise the price is too high. The service was excellent.
Just to describe in 1 word - Highly disappointedSo after a big disappointment from a restaurant at a place also known as 8th wonder of the world, i decide to write my first review on zomato.. After recommendation from a friend and going by zomato reviews and rating, i planned to celebrate a very special evening at Al Iwan, reservation done, husbands pic given (as they mention in confirmation email - pic can be provided so the guest will be greeted at the entrance), special comments mentioned that its my husbands birthday which r are able to celebrate together after about 5yrs so request to provide the best possible table with best possible arrangements..We arrived at the restaurant and here the disappointment starts - first, sending pic was of no use, second, there wasnt any sort of special decor on the table (which i expected to be atleast a few petal of roses), the table provided was rather so secluded that even the waiters couldnt see us when we needed them, the view on the table was of a lobby (which actually gave a feeling like we were sitting in a lobby cafe/restaurant - a table close to the window or anywhere in quite and a more romantic ambience rather than a lobby view and noise would have been appreciated) , sitting was really uncomfortable with the semi circle kind of sofa. After that next was the arabic bread, labneh and salad served at our table, with this high standard of restaurant one can never expect a not so hot arabic bread platter and a bowl of salad with really poor presentation - a few long sliced cucumber and capsicums...then the food buffet, buffet spread out nicely with quite a few options but the food was already cold - chef was there to explain us all the dishes but to our disappointment, from bbq to lamb ozi, everything was cold as if they were about to close the restaurant...a complimentary cake was given for my husband and a rose for me....thankyou for thathowever, the only reason to give 2 points is the friendly staff, the waiter (Noor) and the lady on reception to whom i also mentioned that it was quite a disappointment specially in regards to the sitting provided.i chose Al Iwan thinking a restaurant at the best location would never go rong on anything and make this very special evening even more special for us.......but i guess my choice was completely wrong...there was not even ONE single special gesture which could make it different from any other restaurant
Very well trained staff. Ideal place to take your friends who are visiting Dubai for the first time.
Very good location. Nice people, very good food!
Food here is absolutely not fair to its price...... The taste is just very average...... Even a pint of Evian is extra charged
One of the Luxurious Dinning place. They make your special day more special by their decoration , hospitality and food.
A good occasion to taste a well organized dinner buffet in a beautiful contest like the Burj Al Arab. Good value for money.
Ramadan iftar...... it was really good food and service, must try if you are in Dubai
A 3 stars restaurant would do better job than Al Iwan of Burj Al Arab.
Delicious food with a lot of options, excellent staff and ambiance. Must visit place once in a while
The food is delicous, the atomospher amazing ... the stuff super amazing specially Rony 👍👍👍👍 ... keep in mind is you are going to burj Al Arab so you have to know you are paying for experince not food only 👍highly recommended !!!
Tried the lavish Iftar buffet at Al Iwan. Loved the views
Luxurious and elegant for your anniversary!

Wow what a place
Hate it
As part of our Half Board we took the chance to dine in the Burj Al Arab. After 8 years of vacationing in Dubai, I can only say that I have not yet eaten comparable. The service is excellent and the choice of dishes is amazing. Across the board through Arabic cuisine ...If you have the chance, go to Al Iwan ... you wont regret it
Nice and a little disorganized (two different waiters asked for the order of the wine and then in the end they didnt bring it anymore. Excellent all you can eat buffet of very high level ... all Arab cuisine. Dream dessert buffet For a restaurant located in the mythical seven-star hotel (Burj al Arab), however, I expected a little more than a buffet.
Elegant setting but average buffet content
Mixed flavors
The roast beef is delicious, the desserts are sweet and delicious, and the waiter service is quick and friendly.
A restaurant in the Yacht Hotel
The most wasted money of the whole holiday ..... very refined environment and very courteous staff ... but the price is not absolutely proportionate to the menu .... lets say that you pay above all to be inside the BURJ al arab. ..but its not really worth it.
The Sailing Hotel eats Middle Eastern food, fresh food and delicious taste. The view is good, the glory + red, more noble.
Restaurant inside the stupendous Buji Al Arab, sumptuous style, typical dishes of different types, top desserts, supplied wine list
Fortune Ronghuas quaint restaurant is a good place for gathering delicious food.
Good restaurant in all respects .. enough in Burj Al Arab
Excellent ALL of your food. The more than careful attention of all the staff. I made the reservation directly from the hotel page and it was immediate. The price is a little salty but Dubai without the Burj and one of its restaurants cannot be missed
Dinner at its finest. Phenomenal service. We will be back.
The Best one. Excellent buffet and grandiose setting. To do absolutely
