Im a bit confused with their prices.I did eyelash extensions with The loft in motor city and on my 1st refill (23rd august) I went after 2 weeks and I was charged 2weeks refill but yesterday (7th september) I went for my second refill and it was exactly 2weeks they insisted to charge me for 3weeks refill. I do like getting my lashes done with the motor city branch but I find this very misleading and I feel cheated!Also the salon does not play any music and during the consultation I kept on hearing the staff chatting loudly about “items being cheap” and I left the salon feeling very nervous, anxious and annoyed instead of calm and happy.I would rate the American hair dresser Sandy 5 stars. Would definitely recommend her.

I am disappointed with the listening skills that the hairdresser demonstrated when she did the haircut. The hairdresser and I are from the same country and we were communicating in our mother language, so there shouldn’t have been this degree of misunderstanding about what I wanted.I went in and explained that I wanted a shoulder length bob. I had a photo of myself with this hairstyle. I said cut perhaps 2 cm (we are Americans so maybe she understood 2 inches- if so she needs to learn the metric system if she is going to work abroad). I also tried to explain that I wanted a bob that wasn’t bell or triangular shaped, and I tried to show some photos of a type of reverse layering that would achieve this look. I made it clear that I wanted to retain shoulder length hair.She responded by saying that she would use her “professional judgment” which ended up in a short haircut, even after I had made a point of telling her my preference for length.The haircut is a good one, but it is not what I wanted. I feel she ignored my request about the length. It’s like she gave me the haircut she wanted to do rather than the one I asked for.I would like a 50% refund on the service. I think that’s fair. I did get a solid haircut, but she didn’t respect my directions about length of hair.

Best hair saloon in town, i highly recommend booking with Ali or Ayman. Ali is also very good if you want hair cut for ur kids. The level of engagement with kids from Ali is unbelievable and the outcome is amazing.

The loft Fifth Avenue Motor City is an affordable and easily accessible place to get your hair and nails done. The shop has a ladies section also and caters for kids as well. The staff is really friendly and the services provided are upto the mark. The shop is quite trendy. There is a Spa as well.

Haircut and styling was okay, but the barber was very rough, felt like he was in a hurry to catch a flight. Very rough with the use of the machine, pinched a few times. `even got my mask off on one occasion. The guy needs to realise, he is dealing with people. 1st and last visit to this barber shop. Only went there cause my wife goes to the ladies saloon next door. The gents saloon might need to learn a little bit of professionalism from them.

After a long search for a good barber I finally found one.The place is nice, super clean and cosy.Free underground parking in the mall, what can you wish more when you are in hurry and want to come on your scheduled time.Hasan is your man if you want your hair cut, a styled long or short beard, knowledgeable and overall great guy.Highly recommend gents, you want regret it.Cheers

Very friendly staff. This was the first time I had visited this establishment. I got the works.Hair cut, shave, eyebrows, inside nose and a pedicure. Oh and wash and blow dry. They did an excellent job and was impressed how they followed the COVID 19 GUIDE LINES. All together plus a nice tip it was around 341 AED. Would recommend.

What a really lovely experience.....I had my hair done by Demy who attentive and talked me through my colour and cut.....the end result was, I have to say stunning and I am thrilled! ...the hair wash was fabulous, I had a stinking headache on arrival and it had gone after my head massage. The receptionist was very smiley, nice and so welcoming!I have been in Dubai a year and have tried many salons....and Im pleased to say this is a winner for me and I will most definitely be back! Far too often, due to my many years experience, Ill go for a treatment somewhere and inevitably, Ill leave thoroughly disappointed. However, I ALWAYS look forward to a pedicure with Princess Miranda Blanco at The Loft in Motor City. Her work is impeccable .. and I dont use the word lightly. When my feet are done by her, there is nothing I could improve upon. Her technique is perfect. Her manner is genuinely friendly & sincere and very professional. Dear management,I went for a waxing with a appointment.My appointment was at 6.30pm .But i wait there until 7.10pm .They said the technician busy. After that at 7.17 pm they take another customer inside when I was there to the wax.I waste my time because of this worst service.I am really disappointed with the service.They don’t work according to the appointment.They take customers as they want.

In iverall all is good. All girls are great and do perfect job. But the salon itself needs to do some promotions or something that will be attractive.

The place is as pristine as the pictures showcase. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would highly recommend Hasan, as he did a fantastic job with my haircut!

Last week, in this salon, I had the worst experience of my life! My hair was “chopped” not cut, after me explaining many times that I want to keep my hair long and straight. Also, the “low lights” looks like the “half head” has been dyed a lighter color. The salon looks like can do with a bit of cleaning! Extra professional training will should be given to the person that has destroyed my hair.

The barbers are patient with my 4 year old, and accommodate requests to make it a comfortable experience.

First, the location is great! Free parking and entrance just next to salon.Manicure was great, I always go for gel and I like that they can do it same time with other services.Eyebrow tinting and treading master is so lovely) she do facials as well.Lena did a great haircolor for me, she really listen what I wanted and helped me to choose the right color, I’m very happy with my hair now.Also they sell my favorite Kerastaze products!Thank you, will come again.
