UBK is a lovely place to hang out with friends & family.Beautifully designed garden bar which have a live music. it is a spacious bar and lounge with a massive bar table on one end and tables on the other. The dark, warm ambience, exposed filament bulbs, opulent interiors and great music sets up the mood. Bar counter is very well designed in the corner and looks very attractive. The Seating arrangement is super comfortable. They have lot of different tables depending on the group size. this place has a very pretty interior. The lighting design and placement will definitely catch your attention. Music at this place was also excellent.All in all, definitely a place to visit with your date or for groupies. There is ample space to let your footloose. The staff was polite and helped us with the menu selections. The service was excellent, presentation exquisite, and the ambience very vibrant. The music and am told the live sessions are icing on the cake.

My go to spot for Saturday drinks. I usually drink coffee or sparkling water and my husband gets Amstel / Hogaarden.I love how pretty the outside sitting area is, even in the summers. Fridays you get to hear live music as well!I love their guacamole- they add flavors and will make it extra spicy if you request. In my most recent visit I discovered they have non alcoholic beer options as well!They have lots of screens around the place. So you can either enjoy music videos or any ongoing match.Recommend this place for a chill outing.

Absolutely lovely little garden bar hidden in the Movenpick Hotel in JLT.It feels like a Mediterranean garden bar with pergolas and hanging grapes and a variety of tables seating styles. Theres also lots of little details that draw your eye but Ill leave that for you to discover.Service was excellent, attentive, very friendly and helpful. To marks there.The food is OK, nothing overly special but decent enough bar style food. Stayed with jalapeño poppers that were OK and not too spicy (which suits me but may disappoint those who like them spicy). On to the mains and the Beef Brisket was OK and cooked through but a bit on the fatty side. The Schnitzel was good but a little dry. Sides of mash, fries, salad and garlic bread were standard fare typical of any bar.All in all, a definite worth it to visit and spend a pleasant afternoon but Id suggest more for the drinks and relaxed ambiance which are excellent than the food necessarily.

Went with girlfriends on a Tuesday ladies night where they offer 2 free drinks and 50% off for additional drink! They also have live entertainment!We ordered vegan nachos with mock meat, it was so delicious!! You can also use entertainer. Thanks to Jerome for his outstanding service!

Had a birthday event with 14 people. It was not possible to book tables so two of us came and waited for 1,5h. We were promised table for everyone by the time the main party arrived. After 1h waiting another party who came after us got the big table. I was told a lie that they arrived before us which was not true as I saw they arrive 30min after us when they sat down the first time next to us.I was then promised the next table which would be ready in 10min. 1h later that table was never ready so when the main party arrived we got put in the back to watch the football game on a PC sized screen.This comes on top of my first trip there when they “accidentally” added 8 drinks on my parties bar tap. That time as well they just said “sorry” and didn’t understand why there was a problem. Never ever going back!

Despite the attractive outside look and live atmosphere, the plates were served dirty, and the chicken in standard Caesar salad was quite tough to chew. Wanted to give 4 stars, however the friendly staff don’t often look around, so you’ll have to wave for several times until someone comes up. Sorry, guys, not the place I want to come back again 🙃

Great ambiance. And with live music, its just amazing.Spend a summer evening here, drinking and hanging out with family or friends or both. The food is amazing and a range of cuisine to choose from.Highly recommend if you are on this end of planet. Its best enjoyed in the open and youd not be complaining if you were to sit inside either.

Really great little spot. Onion rings and Empanada little too doughy. Those onions needs a tsatsiki or so. .. The beef dish is the best! Awesome staff.

Your customer service needs to improve. We go here every weekend and your people are just rude for no reason. Jerwin is great though, we love him. He makes the whole experience great. Please let everyone learn from him.

Would have given 5 stars if not for the miscommunication on the reservation. I was told I could just walk in for a party of 2. However when I did, they said they could not accommodate me. After waiting around 20 mins though, we were seated. Food, drinks, music and ambience- 5 stars. Service and staff - 3 stars, extremely slow service and you an never get hold of a staff to take your order!

Had a lunch here, food portions very generous, one main course is enough for adult. Attentive service, good ambience. Belgian draught beer was good. Big choice of different spaces - indoor, outdoor, semi outdoor, lot’s of fun for kids, like real helicopter, table football game.

Atmosphere was alluring, music was pumping, and the drink and food were spectacular, its not too noisy, but not a quiet place either. Its a great night out, and well worth it. Just remember to drink responsibly, and dont drink and drive.

I like everything about this place..the vibes there are cheerful and casual, music is nice too, very lively and upbeat, staff are friendly. The food is really good amd usually they have offers either for ladies night or brunches. I went there many times. And i will go there again for sure.

Lively place and very good service for staff. With some live music also starting 9pm, drinks are costly but compensates for the live music. I gave 4 star because no hindi songs😜

A good place to watches matches and have a drink. The food is “ok”, nothing spectacular, but you don’t come here for the food. Maybe some snacks. You come to watch the matches on many screens. A mix of games also from cricket to Formula 1. The garden is big and good social distancing.

Update: been coming to UBK consistently for the better part of 7 months now. Last night went to quiz night and it was such a good vibe! The host, Maher Barwany, was making jokes and having a good time with the guests. Was one of the better quizzes Ive been to in UAE. As someone who frequents UBK a lot Im deffinately coming back to quiz nigh to try and win some F&B vouchers :)Cute happy Christmas vibes this time of year.

Lovely outdoor place with great ambiance. The food is delicious! They have happy hour every hour (32AED) so that’s awesome. The food was bit slow but worth the wait. If you’re coming in a large group I would advice to either pay together or go somewhere else, they get a little bit mixed up with the orders. Other than that totally recommend!In the photos: vodka orange and gin tonic, pulled beef nachos, truffle Mac and cheese, and beyond meat burger.

Service was very good - we were seated inside and they offered us a table outside as soon as it became available, although we didnt ask for it. Unfortunately I think UBK is very pricey compared to what they offer; the steak is very expensive compared to other places and its not even charcoal grilled. Also tried the chicken schnitzel which was average (if not below) - the breading would fall off the mean quite easily, which is below standards for any chef or even cook who respects themselves.Otherwise, good atmosphere as usual.

This is the ideal environment for a casual evening drink, or meet up with friends or just a outing with colleagues after work. The place has a variety of settings like cubicles, regular tables, outside area and of course bar seats. Tried the chicken burger and it was quite deliciousness. I was a bit disappointed with the limited number of options of beer in the pub. Overall I would give this place a 5 for ambience, 4 for food,3 for variety.

Really Good place to Hangout with friends, one of the staff name Promise at UBK was amazing and offered us Free 2 games of Snooker to play. Music also was not bad.

Went over for a quiet evening yesterday for some drinks and some food but was highly disrupted and made to feel uncomfortable by a very rowdy bald Scottish man wearing a white top (did not get his name) and his friends from his table (one of the ladies was one of the former female musicians who regularly play at UBK) and the staff did not seem to see it fit to address them despite being rowdy and disruptive. (He was swearing a lot and was saying the “C” word which made us feel very uncomfortable)We saw them yelling at another guest as well! The management did not seem to address it or stop it in any way.I’m not sure if this is special treatment but if it’s causing discomfort to other guests, then I feel that it should be highlighted?Regardless I thought the food, drinks and service were amazing.It would just be a little nice for the management to keep an eye on some customers despite them being previous musicians or regulars and to give them the suitable treatment when they’re being rowdy as this experience made us very uncomfortable and ruined our evening.

Complete rip off. They promote their wings and beer offer on the weekends but the truth is that it takes them hours to serve the wings so that they dont serve too much within the allotted time. Sneaky and dishonest customer service, not recommended at all.

Very cosy place. Fully covered with high fence which makes it outdoor and same time very private. Opening hours are a bit late company to other pubs and i guess u need to add staff in service. The waiter was doing really great job but its abnormally heavy duty for him. Pls care abt human rights to make us feel more comfortable while visiting your pub

Love this place, atmosphere, food and definitely the beer choice but a little overpriced.

I love this place!! I can recommend UBK to everybody who loves a great ambiance, likes good food for an affordable price, who enjoys a safe place and who wants amazing personal service.You can really see that the manager Nik has spread his love for hospitality amongst his team. The team is super friendly and know what they sell! The burger is to die for! They are always willing to help you even when they are busy. It’s also a place to take fun pictures, with their helicopter for example. I think its the only place in the world where you can take a selfie inside a helicopter in a restaurant!I will come back and make sure everybody I know visits this place.

Service at the table is good, but infrequent. Few people serving many tables. Takes a while to get their attention and get them to your table.Its a great place despite because it has great food, a great bar and an awesome outdoor space. Great ambiance. My fav bar in Dubai.

I gave 5 star review 2 years ago but I definitely feel like I need to add more detail, since they are just that amazing.We come here fairly often and it never disappoints, in fact UBK has only become better. The atmosphere is great with beautiful decor outside that makes you feel like youre in a garden.The food is absolutely perfect and the staff are fantastic! Our waiter tonight, Imran, was particularly phenomenal and super attentive. Id give 10 stars if I could.

As a first timer on their pub quiz, this gave me second thoughts about coming back.Me and a friend were participating in their bingo pub quiz when suddenly some drunk guy walked in to our table and started telling drunken stories. What’s worse was he started calling us names, shouting till the other bar goers started staring at us. I’ve never felt so embarrassed! Nobody from the staff proactively came to intervene so I went to talk to them and asked to kick the guy out as he was bothering us. They tried talking him out of it, the guy bargained to have one last beer and he’ll leave. But things went on and became unbearable, so I reminded the supervisor once again (because apparently, they don’t have a bouncer) and tried to make the guy leave but to no avail. I decided I had enough when the guy started touching me inappropriately and the management thought it was about time to take drastic action and so later on, around 3 staff came to kick him out.Worst security management for a bar which carries a good name in TripAdvisor. Nobody even approached us to apologize, not until I asked to speak with a supervisor. The only thing I was grateful for was the Irish girl sitting on the next table who came to check if we were okay.Overall, I’m beyond disappointed and I hope the management will get the chance to read this.Update:The manager reached out to me and invited us to come back again to reverse our bad experience.

Is a decent place but surprisingly fuller than I expected on a weekday.Plus coz it was 80-85% full the service was quite slow.Otherwise the place was ok. Dint have food though. Just had masala fries and they were fine as well.

Miserable service.We had a server Sam who was extremely rude and out of line.Absoultely no mannersim.We left our drinks though we paid for it.Its really no surprise this place is empty.

Decent place for a night out!

I went to UBK last night with a friend I hadnt seen in awhile. The Happy Hour(s!) prices were great. We were having a catch-up, and at some point, they turned up the volume of the music considerably. Unfortunately, we were sitting directly under a speaker, but the server was very accommodating and moved us to a quieter place to chat without any fuss. I also have to applaud the servers and Chris the manager for enforcing mask wearing, despite a few people who decided to be jerks and argue about it. I would definitely go back, especially because of how well they are following the Covid safety rules.

Great place with great vibes for a night out. Hosts live music on some nights and has foosball and pool tables. Warm ambience, quick service and spacious to accommodate large groups. Being part of JLT means parking can be an issue depending on the time and day.

Great ambiances, Loved the music and the style, Many hookers roaming around but I would say the place has nothing to do with that as they are still customers to be served, Highly recommended specially with their 3 Hours package, To be back soon.

The place is amazing especially the outdoor area. Its a nice gateway if you want something not too formal but you want a casual and fun place to go.Only concern was that the service was quite slow.

The service was very slow. Our waiter was looking for the menu for 10 min. We were waiting for our dish for exactly one hour. The excuse was that there system is not working. The food was about average. At the end they brought us our receipt written by hand.

If there was a option to put below rating I would have done that , not recommended at all , poor service and impolite staff , everything bad under one roof
