Good dayI would like to put in a complaint for the treatment I have received whilst trying to open a current account. I am deeply disappointed in the treatment I am getting from your representatives.I first tried applying online but I had issues with taking my photo so I called the customer service line and was told I can visit any of the branches and do it manually.I went and could not even go in as the security stopped me and to me I needed to have the following documents to apply (poto is attached below)IdVisaPassportSalary certificate3months bank statement3000 dirhams depositWhich I then went and got.I went again this morning with all the required documents, I was allowed in this time.When it was my turn I let the lady know I would like to open a current account, she asked for all the documents and I gave her everything, going as far as asking me if I am prepared to deposit the money instantly and I said yes. Only for her to ask me which country I come from, information which was already there in front of her and proceed to tell me that I cannot open a current account, I can only open a savings account.This leads me to ask, why did she ask for the documents if she knew I could not open the account anyways or was she expecting me not to have the documents?I am now at a point where I do have to question if this is happening because I am African? Is there a new rule that was sent out that black people shouldnt be allowed to open accounts. I say this because a Filipino colleague of mine, earning less than me went to the same bank 3days ago and easily opened an account, in fact, she is the one that recommended the bank to me.I would really appreciate you could clear this up for me so I can understand exactly what is going on. If it is about my race then its blatant racism.I look forward to your hasty response.Kind RegardsMelissa

Very slow service. Very disappointing. Compared to EIB. Their service is not good. U have to wait for an hour to get teller service. They are very slow in calling ur number. Over all experience 1/10. Probably prefer another branch for teller services.

I am very happy with DIB services. I took a car Finance and fully settled. Recently visited the DIB branch at Dubai Mall to release the Mortgage. Every thing was completed fast with ease and paperless and no additional charges. I was delighted at their services.

Extremely under staffed premise and some services are provided by the security guard. Saying this after 4 visits to be fair in my evaluation. The services provided are good though, not all the staff are well familiar with their products range but the branch manager is easily reached which is something you cant say about other banks. The location is good and parking spaces are ample.

Below 1 star!!! Services are very bad... almost all the teller cannot help the customers needs, we are in a queue and the family has a problem with their account and all the 3 teller are talking to one guest and cannot resolve the issue. They keep on asking who’s the manager that she talked to. Same thing goes with my husband. So ridiculous, We will definitely look for another better bank if the service will continue the same. Why they need to ask for the name of the previous person who deal with us, systems are generated now. And we need ACTION! No more questions.

Thankfully I am leaving this bank! The service is so slow, and some staff are rude. This is just my experience, and it made me leave! Noor Bank was much better before they got bought out by DIB.

Though branch timings till 12am withdrawal closes by 9:00pm and its not mentioned online anywhere.. what a waste of time if you are in an emergency!!!

The worst customer service I have experienced ever. The worst!Im a person with good patience. But the treatment by their staff is the rudest. No communicational skill, no respect unless you wear condora or abaya, no culture.Instead of building conversation by looking at you, they regularly look at their PC or their mobile for chatting on whatsapp or smth else.Instead of helping, they try to get rid of you as soon as possible.The problem is with all the staff including two abaya-wearing ladies in the cash counter on the left at the entrance. They way they approach make you feel you are a slave or nothing(not even Nobody)The have sunk in the mud.

6th/02/20. Token number 1040. I was here to enquire about a message I had received from the bank. I was given a token and referred to customer service queue, however after waiting for about 10 minutes I noticed that the number on the queueing machine was not moving yet there were two agents sitting behind the computers. I approached one gentleman who was in a black suit and asked him if there was any problem. To my rude shock, he told me that he was busy with other things and I should wait. I went back to my sit and waited. Finally the same gentleman was free but instead of helping me, he hurriedly went to the managers room where I could see them chatting. Finally I was called by another agent who was kind enough even though I didnt not get the much needed answers. Time wasted.

Worst bank service ever had in my life!Zero recommendation....When i was opening the DIB bank account i thought this an one of the most effective bank in dubai.Proving me myself wrong, i had the most irritating incident with this bank.First thing, when i was in hospital trying use my atm card didnt work saying transactions declined. I was so helpless that time to find cash and there was no branch open that time. How dare a bank just stop a transaction without informing their customer. If any issues in the bank account someone has to call the costomer and infrom them . That is basic of customer service. Speacilly when bank dealing with customers money.Then i called call centre and they told me i can go to ANY BRANCH and have to update my passport n visa details in my account .then i went to dubai mall branch and they said you can not do it here.and i had to wait in que and get money manually and the lady issuing money had a big attitude. She only said u can not take money . She doeant even care to explain me why i cant take money . Regardless the service, as a human being human has to be kind to one another and humble when somone come towards you seeking for a help. i spoke with manager there. He said this is the last time that i can withdraw money and should use my atm. And said it needs to be done by a branch which is out of malls. Apparently DIB staff dont really care about their customers . I felt that on the first dayI do not undestand their theory. As a customer any branch is same .Then i went to business bay branch where i got so annoyed . When i was trying to get a coupon the security said i can not update bank account here and should go to al quoz branch . Which makes no sense.!!!!When i said i wanna speak to manager and he let me go to agent and update the details. The lady sitting there on 26th feb around 11am took my passport visa and emirates ID and updated the details and said after 3 hrs i can use my atm. I checked that aftr 4 hrs And AFTER 4DAYS. STILL I CANT USE MY ATM.I can see how irresponsible this bank is and how they waste customers time.Later i went to emirates mall branch.The staff is not helpfull at all . I wonder how they get customers with this attitude. i spoke with manager there and explained my situation. He said this is the last time that i can withdraw money and should use my atm.Then i said i already updated those in businessbay bank and i have done my part. Its bank s fault not do do that simple thing properly .I have no help from anyone. So i called the contact centre today and lodged a complaint. They they someon will get back to me on 3 to 4 working days. And he also mentioned that passport details n KYC form n Emirates ID is updated . Bt Only the expiry date of emirates id is not updated . How can they just b this irresistible. ?Am still waiting here as a poor lady till someone is getting back to me .I cant take my own money whever i want. What if i had an emergency?No one took any initiative or ownership to do this smiple 2mins task for me as bankersI have been wasting my time for one month for this .Such a poor customer service in DIB and shame on such local bank in a well developed country like dubai.

I believe to those other comments...!!!!The Dubai Islamic Bank in Dubai Mall they have very poor customer service... Instead of entertaining thier customer they will priority chatting and talking in a rude way. I hope the management observe and give them action.

Worst bank brunch ever. No one cares about customers. Zero training and attention. If you ask a question or tell your opinion they just laugh at you and drive you mad. I would rate it zero if I could! It’s 2019 and they still do not care if you have quote in your hand. They just bring people before you because they know each other. I have never experienced such a thing in other banks in Dubai. And it’s not even one time, every single time. I have to come here every time because system has given me this brunch as my brunch and what a regret, what stress to be in this brunch.

It’s the worst customer service where they don’t know how to greet and treat the customers. They don’t know the meaning of it.The two ladies there which I shouldn’t say who it is but they literally rude and don’t know how to solve and please the customers when their system is down. All they know is to say “yalla go yalla go “ without even asking the customers issue.Me being born and raised in UAE never seen such a response from such people from the same country.There’s nothing to train them because sometimes some people are born like that.

I visited ibn batoota mall for documents updation and they told me to go other branch and mentioned we are not accepting the application for documents updation?so embarrassing was that branch not part of the Dib? Why they are not entertaining customers..Customer service is very poor they dont even greet people.

Visited this branch earlier to update my details as i cant withdraw from my card. Went to the ticket kiosk and told the staff what service i needed to be done. He gave me a ticket. And waited for my turn until one of their staff approach me and said they cant accommodate me as theyre not doing the process i needed. And told me that i need to go to another branch. After 30-45mins of waiting??? Terrible. Wasted my time.

Poor customer service I went there today with my baby no one cares I stood there for hours trying to ask for help but the customer service staff nada was busy trying to assist the Arabic speakers ignoring me ..finally the security lady saw me stranded and helped me out ..

The worst bank service I have ever seen, in all honesty, we wait for more than 40 minutes, but to deliver papers to release the seizure of the account, and the female employees. Each unit enters within an hour and looks at its comfort. Prayer is worship and work is worship, but glory be to God.
