I cant stop myself to share the experience I had encountered today 30.07.21 at DIB branch. In the afternoon I reported my losten card over the phone, and rushed to the nearest brunch in Battuta as I didnt have any cash money with me even for basic needs. I came in at 16:30 and been told that teller service is closed. I literally begged them to help me and said that their timing is suppose to be until 5pm. The only words I heard sorry madam we are closed. I asked them a question why are you closing at 4 30pm if your timing is until 5? They just laughed on my face while I was about to cry.Assistant Manager of the branch listen to me and she was kind, asked the other lady (I believe she is working as a teller) to help me, but they closed the system already.Now I have to question to the bank management : why the timing is not mentioned properly? If they are closing their system at 16 30 why timing on internet and in front of the brunch is mentioned as 5pm?Really the most awful experience, zero customer service, zero humanity. Which is very rare in Dubai where the service is always on TOP.

Definitely the worst bank ever! Irresponsible customer service and obviously lazy staff. You need to keep calling them and they will always find a way to keep you away, you will often hear that you have called the wrong department and how you need to recall. But why simply they don’t transfer the call? I even can’t believe that they are charging the call! Called them and sent them an e-mail 3 times and well, as you guys already know - NO ANSWER! The worst!

WORST!!! My personal advice and experience... DO NOT APPLY FOR ANY ACCOUNT OR CARDS WITH DIB!!! M using credit cards since about a year and observed few days back that they are charging me some untold services and hidden additional charges which costs me almost 300 to 400aed per month.. customer representative told me if you will pay min due amount so will be charged additional charges.. and if you pay full statement then there will no charge..WHAT IS THIS??? m using many cards but never experienced such conditions.. i have been charged insurance which i never asked.. On the time of applying they told me only yearly charges for only one card and rest 2 free with no charges.. SO BAD!!! WORST THAN WORST .. soon i will be closing up my cards IN’SHA’ALLAH.. no more relation with DUBAI ISLAMIC BANK..

I desperately canceled my credit card and current account from this bank. Initially they had told me that creditcard will be absolutely free for lifetime but lately they deducted annual charge of 170 dirhams. When I complained they said ‘bank changed its policy and annual fee is not refundable’.Then I asked why you did not inform the customer when it comes to charge him.They replied ‘Bank has a right to change its policy anytime without letting the customer know about it.’Absolutely untrustworthy. Not recommended.

I am trying to reach their customer service from more than 2 hours but their automated system stinks.I have never seen worst customer service than this one. I am ex Noor Bank account holder whose account has been moved with DIB. The worst part is I am trying to call from USA and it is costing me a lot.It is already more than one month and I have not received my bank card and my account number.I have spoke twice with their reps and both promised that I will get all the information and bank card but so far nothing. What a service.

To whom it may concern in Dubai Islamic Bank,My account was locked on 04/10/2020 due to delay in releasing the salaries. My salary amount reached to my account on 06/10/2020, I called the bank checking with them on the same date and asked nicely to remove the lock from my account. The next day did call again and asked to check my request urgently with the concerned department, at that time I was informed that the process takes between 24 to 48 hours so i waited till the day after and did call again and asked to remove the lock on my account at that time I was neutral conversation. The day after which was 4 days after I did call the bank again but this time i was asking for my right with attitude. Then I did call the on the 15th of October yet no action was taken so i requested nicely to connect me to someone and was informed that an action will be taken immediately or in the coming two hours, nothing happened also.Suppose this process takes 24 to 48 hours yet no action and no one care. I wonder who is responsible for all this mess when not even a follow up or a call back from bank.Sorry to say I do not recommend this bank since the staff will delay your process forever.Please find the evidence attached.#dubaiislamicbank #Dubaicentralbank

Its been my 3rd day today that i have been requesting the bank to help me in my car loan payments postponing because i am on an unpaid leave due to the current pandemic crises. But i have not reached to any conclusion until now, this should not be the way the banks work. I have every document required but they keep sending me back, how come there systems arent working all the time. I have not received my salary since April2020 and now they are asking me to make the payment this month and then try again next month for the payment postpone. what kind of procedure are they following? one of their customer service agent told me that for the month of April the bank deferred the car loan payment for all the customers but it was not for me because i kept receiving messages to make the payment. If this is how they provide solutions to their customers, then i will be waiting for my loan to get over and never take any kind of services from this bank.

Inexistant customer service over the phone, and very poor in their branches. Utterly disappointing for one of the largest banks, if not the largest in the region. Whilst calling their toll free customer service number, they distract you with their virtual assistant and excessive security and recognition functions so that its basically impossible to reach the customer service representative.Applying for loans is extremely slow and maintaining a loan with them is tiring. They sell their products by using the words comfort and freedom but its all just marketing. Once youre hooked thats it. They refuse to postpone a loan or do anything to grant you a grain of comfort, unless you obtain an offer from another bank and threaten to leave theirs.The way I look at it as long as they make their money off of investors, partners, and corporations, thats all that matters to them, individuals are irrelevant.ADIB was bad but DIB is absolutely terrible.Stay away.

The worst worst customer service i have experienced in my life is this branch...today morning i went there for my car loan early settlement and they were asking i need to bring the copy of liability letter which i already handed over to insurance company...these guys can get the liability details from their system...but they asked to me come next day even waiting there for more than 2 hours...later i went to DIB nad alHamar branch and finished my work without any docs...such nice customer service staff we can see in DIB nad al hamar(rabat street)...i willNever recommend any people to got to DIB branch near dnata

The front desk guy at the counter machine was rude in the main branch at deira today and not helpful at all, does not want to talk and help, felt very bad for being treated in a bad way.Indeed he was not a security guard.

If you are considering banks. I would advise you to not choose DIB. because you can not get hold of their customer service when you need them. You can spend hours navigating their ineffective customer care line.As I type this message I have been trying to get hold of someone actively on their chat box for 2 whole days and no answer.In my friends circle everyone has confirmed this and advised to move to another bank. To have such ineffective customer care for a large bank as DIB surprises me. I write this with the hope the bank takes this constructively and for anyone who is considering to bank with DIB to consider this experience.

I have been a customer for six years and all these while DIB has always been true to their promises. My funds received much security and thrice they have successfully recovered every lost funds from my account. I feel so secured now more than ever and have no worries about online transactions. Customer care service is superb at any poin time their patience and professional handling of issues had always been joyful and greater satisfaction. Always there serving and caring for your needs. A worst bank in uae. There is lake of communication between departments.Am paying installment for every month but their collection dept. need deposit slips by whatsap to prove. Very very poor service.And also Credit card payment was converted in installment and paying the same amount every month but collection dept. having no detail for that.I m very frustrated because of receiving calls, whatsap & emails though, paying installment every month.Bigger mistake of my life to get loan from them.

I received several calls about credit card if I want.. I said yes for it since I asked the representative named SAMAH is it free for life or there is any yearly or monthly charges she said it’s free for life.i received credit card and with in a week they deducted 330 from my account which was charges for credit card. I called Samah and asked about it.. she apologized first saying it was a new product so she made a mistake so now she will refund the money and block the card. but no response after that from her for a week and later on when I complaint to the DIB directly then her team coordinator called back to discuss about issue. After explaining the whole story straight away she said I asked SAMAH but as per her she informed everything to you in advance . I asked her to check call recordings and listen how Truthful SAMAH is but I got a reply sorry we don’t have recorded calls.Top of that she asked me if i have any proof apart from calls.So in short SAMAH is saying the truth but the customer means I am a lier. Well done DIB.

The worst bank you can deal with, unfortunately it bears the name of the city of Dubai. I hope the Dubai government will review the actions of Dubai Islamic Bank, which are laughter and foolishness for customers, and the service is the worst.Dubai needs more efficient institutions than banks that damage the citys reputation.I never recommend dealing with them.

I have dealt with them as mentioned by the previous people, the worst bank .. Note that they issue credit cards without the knowledge of the customer and the services are lazy and soft banking procedures have to know that the star and one of them a lot .. I do not advise to open an account for them.
