Very Bad customer Service, specially Alwasl branch1- they cancel classes without informing. I had to reach the center to know the class got cancelled and not just that they shift it to another day without informing the group2- they don’t clean between classes ( we finish with Dirty feet’s and socks )nor Sanitize the room3- I informed them that I contacted Positive Corona case -asking to freeze my class till I get tested, they refused and asked to COME TO CLASS !Although instructor is AMAZING (for bellydance)am Never going nor recommending them to anyone

We have been with Melodica for several years and my daughter loves it. And most recently my second daughter also started and both are so happy. Over the years we have recommended Melodica to many of our friends and a number of them joined for both music and dance lessons. Unfortunately I am so sad that this experience completely changed.First during Covid, they forced us to take the online lessons even if we didnt want to or risk losing our money. So although it was not ideal, we decided to go ahead and let them use our membership fees towards the online lessons (with no discount, and no choice). We thought we will support a business we are fond of.When we went back to physical lessons, after making payment, we had some very serious Covid issues in the family and had a vulnerable case at home, so I asked them to freeze my membership for my girls. Based on the category that of membership they allowed me to freeze for two weeks. I asked them for an extension until we all got vaccinated due to the vulnerable case at home. At the same time, my husband lost his job, so we did not want to lose the money we had paid for two of our girls taking classes with them. And there started the runaround, the lack of responses to emails and the rude and awful attitude of the reception staff. In a time when people should be supporting each other, in the same way we supported Melodica by taking the online lessons during Covid, we expected to have some humanity in their treatment. Their happiness center email was never answered, the staff were rude and would not give me an email or a phone number for a manager. And we had been loyal clients for years. Never, ever was I treated like this by any business.I have never written a bad review. In fact, I am someone who always takes the time to acknowledge the good. But I have been so frustrated with the treatment and how this institution has no care for loyal customers Instead of being understanding, I got arrogant customer service as well as the runaround. The only reason I put up with it is because my daughters love Mr Moses and his dance class.I have now reached a point where I no longer am interested in being part of Melodica which we considered as part of our community. There is nothing happy about their customer happiness email or service.I have pulled my girls out to other dance centers who appreciate our business as sad as this is for my two girls who really loved their class.I hope Melodica is happy to keep money from people and not give them a service. And I never asked for a refund, just an extension so my girls can finish the classes that we paid for. They stopped allowing my girls to enter and stopped responding. And when going in person, I was treated so rudely with no empathy in front of my 4 year old and everyone else standing in the reception.It doesn’t seem that Melodica is interested in returning and loyal customers.I will add that I made similar requests to other centers we are clients in and all of them were polite, responsive, understanding and appreciated loyalty and commitment to them which they reciprocated to us during a very difficult time.I have recommended Melodica to so many friends and you have gotten clients because of that. Rest assured this will never happen again.A very very very disappointment client with two really upset children.

Poor arrangements done when a teacher is on leave - no alternate teachers provided in the prescribed timings and we have to forcefully freeze the classes until the teacher is back or change branch or schedules to accommodate the teachers absence. Very poor management

Very bad customer service at wasl vita branch from administrative staff , especially Mrs. Rachel .It is unfortunate that some admin staff harm your reputation and paint a very bad picture of a decent place. This is our second time we complain about the treatment we receive from the administration staff while the teachers are doing a great job. There is no change in the behavior and the lack of respect is still obvious and dominant.

I inquired for dance classes for my son Karl. They have great activities and the receptionists are very accommodating.

Myself and a relative booked and paid for 2 packages of piano lessons with Melodica in the Al Wasl branch. After just 1 class into the package, we had suffered a family emergancy and were forced to travel abroad where a family member needed to have urgent medical treatment. I had written an email explaining our dilemma before we were due to attended our next class and asked if we could postpone once we had gotten back to Dubai. I could not believe it when we were told unequivocally, Not Possible and that it was against their policy to make any ammendments. I had offered to give them proof of our situation to assure them that I was telling the truth but again was refused any kind of desire to help or check/ see what they can do. I mean, seriously? what is the company losing here!? I have already paid for 2 packages which the teacher can simply fill with another client. I was even willing for them to penalise us by cutting a class or 2, but to be told that we have lost our money and thats it. This was so uncaring and showed a real lack of customer service awareness and flexibility. Businesses dont run this way anymore Melodica. So disappointed in the treatment we have received from you.

I just had to bring two disappointed kids home because Melodica decided to give our spots away. I confirmed that my kids are coming and that I will make the payment then but somebody else took our spots and payed online so I guess they went with the person that payed first. I find this attitude dealing with kids very disappointing, at least give me a call before you give away my spot.now my kids are crying but at least melodica got their money!

Very bad service never book with them! I was the first who booked for my class and the same day they put the people they favored in class and took me out. Don’t waste ur time going to this place they can tell u class is full when u already have a booking. I am never going back and staff are very disrespectful they don’t know how to talk to customers

I had enrolled my daughter for the 6 months package in Feb 2020. Once 3 classes were over everything closed down due to Covid. In April we get a mail from Melodica that join the online classes else you would loose your money. They don’t pick their landline as the branch at Wasl is closed and on their watsapp numbers each time I have got conflicting statements. They are behaving like money minting criminals. How can a kid learn piano online if the kid does not have a piano at home. Very unprofessional and very money minded unethical set up. Will not recommend them at all as they have zero customer service.

It is a nice place, professional team. As an adult learning piano, It is a challenge but the teacher Kate even though she is a young girl, she has much patience :) with me, taking it step by step. I highly appreciate that. My 30 minutes class make me feel so great. Ladies at the reception very professional, reminder emails I receive put a smile on my face. My son takes piano class at this branch and I can say that it is one of the best decisions Ive ever done! Ms. Andrea is an amazing teacher. Ive personally seen my sons improvement, and most importantly, I could see how happy he is every time he goes to his class.Edit:I’m editing this review after having a not so commendable stream of experiences after the lockdown.The reception team has changed and so is the way this specific branch is being ran. This is not a reflection of Andrea, my son’s piano teacher. She’s been amazing.I have now moved my son to another branch which is closer to where we live because we’ve grown tired of the way the team has dealt with my concerns. Rachelle at reception is unaccommodating and is rough around the edges. She must be taught how to be polite and treat clients with respect.

Excellence all round! My daughter currently attends piano lessons at Melodica and she is not only making very swift progress but also loves the teaching and Melodica experience. She has asked Father Christmas for a piano this year, and Melodica have recommended one, which hopefully will last her for many years to come. Am also very tempted to take up the drums in the New Year.. Lets see!
