Simply put, these are hands down and by far the best baguettes you will ever eat in Dubai. Period. You want it, you need it, you know it and only Viking Bageri has it.

My experience with Viking Bageri was perfect start to end - super systematic service, very well coordinated, beautiful packaging and finally the baguettes .. hands down the best Ive had in Dubai in a long time! I had to dig in right away and I savored every beautifully crusty bite. Ill certainly be going back!

8 minutes. That is how long the first baguette lasted. Some slices were eaten with Nutella, some with dijon and ham, most were just eaten unadorned... This is the Finest. Bread. In. Dubai. Such flavor, he contrast between the perfectly crispy crust and the super soft bread can not be described, only experienced. Beyond the bread, the artisans who create this demonstrate their passion and care from packaging and constant fresh batches to the thoughtful instructions on how to resuscitate it should you somehow manage to not eat all of it on the same day. Cannot recommend this enough to everyone. Go try this or acknowledge your life will have a baguette shaped hole in it.

The baguettes at Viking Bageri are hands down the best in Dubai, and are totally worth the wait! I love the excitement and the ritual of driving to pick them up - I have met both Mrs and Mr Viking, and they’re wonderful friendly people, always happy to have a little chat!My entire family loves the bread - there is no wrong way to eat these baguettes! Cold cuts, smoked salmon, butter and jam/honey, even plain, everything tastes amazing with it. I also love that they include a little card with instructions on how to revive the bread if you don’t eat it on the same day (a very rare occurrence, but it happens) - I can promise you it works 100% and it’s like it just came out of the VB oven!I also had the pleasure of taste-testing their new sesame baguette and am happy to report that it’s just as delicious as the original one! Tried it with both sweet and savory toppings and again, there is no wrong combination of flavors here!Viking Bageri is the absolute best thing to happen in 2020 and I can’t wait to see what new delicious breads they come up with! Many thanks to the Vikings for sharing their gorgeous creations with those of us lucky enough to live in Dubai!

I have always said to my wife, the thing that is missing from Dubai was great bread! When she told me about this magical land that sells fresh speciality baguettes... I knew it was meant to be!The service is incredible. The product is even better. The attention to detail from the packaging to the bread itself, is truly awesome. Honestly, the best baguette I’ve had in Dubai. Not only does it taste great but it’s a passion project as well. The packaging is beautiful and cut by hand and stamped with care. The service is fantastic. Maria greeted me at the door with warmth and took the time to explain how they’re going about their business which shows me how much love the team puts into every baguette. I planned a picnic around the baguette and didn’t wait until it was over before ordering my next pick up. Highly recommend!

Second time ordering from this amazing gem of a bakery. This time we ordered 3 baguettes. White, truffle and sesame. The white baguette was amazing like last time. We were so surprised with the sesame baguette. Its our new favourite. Not what we would usually go for but it is sooo gooooood!!! The truffle one was also delicious! So white baguette 10/10, truffle 10/10 and sesame 12/10. Highly recommend!

I heard about Viking Bageri through Instagram and being the “carbivore” that I am, I knew I had to try it out. Where do I begin! From the smell of the street leading up to the villa, to the cute sign outside the door, to the sweet Maria that welcomes you with her smile (her mask was on but her eyes were smiling, I could tell 😬), and then to the moment I got the baguettes! I cannot explain to you the insane smell of freshly baked bread, nothing trumps that! And the packaging, I mean honestly, the fanciest bread packaging I’ve ever seen and I’m here for it! And finally the moment of truth, the softness of the bread versus the crunch is the perfect combo, the taste is out of this world! I told Maria I had to fight my kids for the last piece. Honestly, do yourself a favor and try it out and trust me you won’t regret it! I shall be back soon and my body will just have to make piece with the extra calorie intake 🤷🏽‍♀️!

Although it doesnt break the bank, it is almost double that of the closest (higher end) competition.All in all, positive experience and would buy again.

Regularly driving across town to pick up baguettes on a weekend morning is one of those things I never thought Id find myself doing - but Viking Bageris baguettes are just THAT good.Its hard to say its the single best baguette in the city purely on account of having not tried all the baguettes around town - BUT I find it difficult to imagine something better than this. Crispy yet soft and pillowy on the inside - you could eat this bread entirely by itself and be more than satisfied.Pair it with some cheeses / cold cuts , and youre well on way to a magnificent meal.Beyond all that, the packaging is classy, with handy instructions on how to keep it fresh if you somehow dont finish it on the first day.Maria, who Ive only met for a total of 2 minutes when paying for the bread, also seems like a lovely person - so all in all - give this a go, you certainly wont regret it.

When my family had this bread for breakfast for the first time last week there was silence at the table. They had enjoyed my pretty decent homemade sour dough for many months over lock down but this was bread on another level. Spectacular baguettes which have elevated the baking scene in Dubai.

I doubt that there is any better baguette made in the UAE. One can taste the love, the passion and the craftsmanship which is put into this product and I am very sure, the bread can compete with baguettes manufactured in small French bakeries. I bake myself and experiment with high hydration dough and fermentation, but this is definitely the best baguette I have had in my life
