It’s a nice place to have breakfast, the food is great, clean presentation and good products. The fact that the orange juice was served in a plastic cup, with a plastics cover, when you dinning in, really doesn’t make sense in the days we are now. They should be more environmental friendly, as the brand should be more interested in this…Staff were hit and miss. While some were friendly, others spent the whole time leaning against the coffee machine on their phones.Slightly on the expensive side, but good overall.
For sure an outstanding coffee shop and bakery. The things they offer in the dessert bar looks and tastes amazing. The cookies are a must try. The hot chocolate is very dense and delicious. Also the coffee is very strong. The interior is beautiful and the place is SUPER clean. The staff are lovely. The place is usually packed as they have a lot of fans. It’s truly worth visiting.
Potential here but just missing the mark…This was my first experience coming here to Milk Bakery. It’s located in a nice courtyard with the city skies in the distance as you gaze out.The staff are friendly but I feel the management would make a big improvement if they trained them properly…I ordered the corn bread Benedict, which was tasty although I asked for the eggs medium runny and they came out well done and hard. The coffee was ok… the original breakfast order was for the omelette, however the waiter came back to say they didn’t have any bacon left (veal alternative as we’re here in dubai) and so the ask was to replace with smoked salmon (also on the menu) but again 2 min later, we were told the kitchen had run out of smoked salmon also… this was the reason I changed my order. After my breakfast I ordered a second coffee, the second coffee never turned up.I found most of the customers were an overflow from the much more popular ‘brunch and cake’ next door. Those who couldn’t get in there today (me and most others in here), popped over to ‘milk bakery’ … it is a weekend, so expected somewhat.I am disappointed to be honest as there is so much potential here, there is a nice open design and feel to the place.Even when the bill came, it had 2 coffees on it, even after my complaint although I only received one.It is a shame really, but I don’t think I’d be making any effort to come back here in the future unless some changes are made.I want to give a better review but I just can’t. I imagine much of the menu would be great (provided they had stock of the ingredients).Again, so much potential…After I posted the review, they did apologise and provided me the coffee I had ordered in takeaway form as we left. This was very nice… like I said, the staff are very friendly….
Shocking to see the number of glowing reviews in this average cafe in Jumeirah, close to City Walk. The cafe was busy which might explain the service quality. Not sure that explains poor coffee. Cakes are not bad, on the plus side. Just dont go at peak times.
I have tried their cookies and I must say they were heavenly, as soon as you take a bite the Nutella melts in your mind and THE WHITE CHOCOLATE COOKIES they were from space they tasted amazing, we thought it would be from the ones in display but they actually made us fresh cookies and it didn’t take a long time which is pretty good! Also, the atmosphere felt really good. Special thanks to the hidden soldiers in the kitchen!
Fantastic breakfast and very kind staff. A must try on the Jumeriah front.
Nice place ,especially if you need some quiet place to work is very good , coffee and sweets are very tasty .
While visiting Wasl 51, we were in a mood for coffee and desserts and that’s how we stumbled upon Milk Bakery. It is a dessert parlor and also offers speciality coffee and tea. We ordered a cup of piccolo and cortado to drink. Nutella cookie, double chocolate cookie and peanut butter truffle were the sweet treats that we had along with our coffee. Everything was perfect. The venue is gorgeous and the service was great. Milk Bakery is worth visiting.
Nice place coffee nice difficult to find parking but there is valet parking
Great coffee taste! But in 2021 not having coconut/almond milk option is really 👎🏼👎🏼 other than that… its a nice cozy place…loved the blondie/brownie!
We had shakshuka, eggs benedict, and caramel french toast. Delicious!
Did not live up to the hype sorry, great location and I love the design of the place but the portion sizes are tiny and over priced. We had a cereal milkshake that had warm milk not ice cold and two drinks that although tasted good were very expensive for what we got.
Milk Cafe has a lovely, relaxing ambiance. The cakes are wonderful and delicious. Most of all the staff are amazing. Inspite being incredibly busy, Ivan was extremely polite and served us through the evening in an exemplary manner with great recommendations. Thank you Ivan and Milk for a great evening!
Cakes were good. Brazilian beans were not what we expected. They served sparkling complimentary water. If you wanted normal distilled water then you need to buy which we found quite ridiculous. We had been to many specialty cafes but this was the first time we encountered such. Plz do offer distilled water as complimentary water too as we believed customers have the rights to choose. It wouldn’t cost a lot. Many other countries are serving bigger size complimentary water. No complain
The staff are friendly and professional,, they have the best brownie in UAE 😍😍
Love this place and it has the best triamisu cake. Good customer service and good packing
Very nice coffee shop they sell the sweets, specialty coffee and they have a corner to sell sport shoes I ordered tiramisu and raspberry torte. I like the raspberry torte but the tiramisu was so sweet a lot of sugar.Friendly staff and nice atmosphere and the prices was high but the coffee price was OK. it’s located in wassail 51
A pretty place that has been hyped however the staff lack basic courtesy and are absolutely racist. The dessert we tried was average and the coffee was good.We were here post lunch and were recommended the Signature Chocolate Rahash Sandwich and we called for a Piccolo in the coffees. Now heres where the twist - the Supervisor came in and tried to convince us to have the pistachio ice cream in the Rahash Sandwich instead of the vanilla one and when we said we were not fans of pistachio and opted for the Kladdkaka which is a sticky chocolate cake.We tried to ask her if there was any form of cake in it (as the husband has a wheat allergy) and she started telling us that it is the same price as the Rahash ????? The same was done with the Piccolo when we asked about the picture in the menu showing a transparent glass and it being served in a ceramic one instead (all of it to ensure I get a good picture). The lady again started to justify that the quantity is the same when we did not even ask for this.I am sure that one walking into the cafe would only do so if they can afford it and the staff should stop humiliating people.
Very bad service one of the worst cafes I’ve ever visited. The staff are not capable to manage the customer orders or manage the time.
Cozy, neat, good staff, cakes and more, good for families aand friends.
Perfect bakery, very nice and friendly staff specially Isaac 💙💙💙 I will come back again 😉👍🏻
Went to pickup some cookies 🍪. Their cookies were very good 💯.
Decoration , atmosphere , pistachio milkshake, vanilla milkshake and tiramisu, all was perfect, I like it , specially we had the drink after first dose of corona vaccinated 🤩🤩🤩
Good breakfast, service could be slightly faster- try mushroom forest with eggs
A perfect place and perfect location, nice coffee and tasty cakes, but ironically its called milk yet they dont have lactose free milk or even soy milk
Love the place and your location as well as your decorations, sweet taste good BUT the service is bad unfortunately and they are not friendly 🙂
Cozy place to have a cup of coffee. Tried the flat white which was good and hot chocolate which was amazing! We didnt realize they had a breakfast menu until after we left. Will definitely go back to try it.
Saffron milk cake was rich, creamy and down right delicious! A must try!
Great place for coffee and dessert, the Tiramisu is out of this world.. the breakfast also is nice ..loved the place 💙
Disappointed... tiny over priced cookies, not great milk cake and 35 aed for a coffee.. hmmmm
How amazing is this place!I love working from here. The coffee is good and the yogurt with fruits and homemade granola is AMAZING.The only ”problem” is that they don’t offer breakfast all day.
Milk Bakery is delicious from the pastries to the coffee, a must try. The ambience of the coffee shop is homey and welcoming. To top it off the service is great, and the servers are very polite. My husband and I tried to give a tip to our server, but he didnt allow it. He politely said that he just wants us to be safe and he was happy that we dined at the restaurant today ☺️ We will definitely come back to try more of the menu! Thank you for a great experience!
I note that the Prices are different from menu compared to invoice I spoke to the Philipno manager called LYN she explained that they are going to increase the menu prices to match the invoice, sure I believe her but in legal ways they shouldn’t do this. So guys be carful before you paying your bill.
The worst service you can ever have in Dubai and the most unfriendly and unprofessional crew in the world, they have an amazing people making the food inside the kitchen, but they are not going to go anywhere because of the horrible service they have. That’s the conclusion of many and many situations they have done with me and others that I know.DON’T NOT GO FOR THIS PEPOLE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD SERVICE
The place is really busy during breakfast time. The waiting time can be up to 40 mins. The food was not something i liked. My order was not as i requested and because of the busy place the waiting for order was another 30 mins
Isaac was a really waiter and the mushroom toast and corn bread were amazing!!
I thought bens cookies had the best cookies in Dubai but turns out I was wrong the best cookie in my opinion in the world is the white chocolate chip cookie, I promise anyone will fall in love with it if you’re into desserts 🍨 🧁
Best place for 🎂🥮🍥
Great food, great staff
Amazing coffee , the best milk cakes and cookies in Dubai. I also loved their mayo chicken toast and acai bowl, very refreshing.
Place interior is beautiful, coffee is tasty and vibes are calm and quiet. We felt cake prices are on the high side though, despite the average taste.
Fantastic place, great food and oh my god the Nutella pancake is amazing. Kids loved it ...beautiful books to read while waiting. Good coffee ... Friendly staff @milkbar.ae
Great coffee and desert, but the service for pick up is very slow!! I have to go around the building twice till somebody comes with my order although it ready!!
I love the cheese cake and Zaatar dough is amazing....
30 minutes to order and get an ice-tea, which by the way was served hot. After 25 minutes and after asking 3 times for the order, they still didn’t serve even after we said we want to leave. We asked for the bill and they still didn’t serve. After leaving they chased us to pay for a drink that was not served. After paying and getting the drink it was hot. Oh by the way, we asked to split the bill but they charged my friend for the whole bill. And did I mention? Their menu is VERY limited and their tea literally tastes horrible! Not recommended.
Great Coffee and a relaxing place to work 👌🏽
Amazing food , dessert and coffee ..
