Nice restaurant. Enjoyed their buffet. 25 AED Only.You will get Healthy choice of Food.I dont know the name of the dishes.But it was yummy, tasty.Buffet open at 12pm. The plate is interesting. Made by some leaf, and cover by Banana leaf.Eat all you can. I likes their Devilled Chicken, very spicy.You must give a try.

Absolutely delicious food!!! The service is so friendly and helpful…this place is a family favourite and we try to go there at least once a month. Can’t get enough, highly recommend. Do yourself a favour and order the daal and kottu, you can thank me later.

Speed and quality of service was good. Food was very good. Ordered prawn kothu, chicken noodles, chicken sweet corn soup. Enjoyed all of them. The price was reasonable too. Will be coming back.PS: the spice level is not for the faint hearted. Order with caution.

I ordered the sea food chopsuey rice and the rice quantity was very very less as well as was too salty that my tongue has an issue now and also the sea food quantity was very very less and made me feel not worth the price!. Sorry you guys need to improve quality and quantity wise.

Went for dinner in January. Being a Friday I had expected the place to be crowded, but fortunately for us only we were there when we entered. But it seems there is good demand for takeaways since most of the items of menu were not available to order. Finally we ordered 2 items, names am unable to recollect. For clarity I asked the person details and from his explanation got an idea about the food that its like Kerala appam. Finally dishes came onto table and alas those appam are not at all easy to eat. Very small - maybe 2.5 inch dia, hard object which is hard to chew, no particular taste and do not go well with any curry. The beef curry served (in fact both of us ordered beef curry) was combined as one and the quantity looked too less. But soon we realised the quantity is more than sufficient, due to excess chillly or black pepper content.... Tears uncontrollable 😂And not to forget the horrible symphony of Kothu in the background...Had been to the place few years back, but never expected the revisit to be so Nice

This place was recommended by a colleague of mine. And this place is nicely tucked away in the middle of Karama! Superb food, excellent members of staff , value of money. Delivery or Pick-up is on time as well. Unlike other restaurants in the area. My tolerance to spice levels are getting better these days. So I am slowly getting to the Sri Lankan spicy dishes!!

Being born in uae and used to Arab foods, not a big fan of spicy food. My friend introduced me to this restaurant and we ordered dolphin kothu and puttu with coconut milk and beef gravy. Dolphin kothu was superb and i could experience all the spices in one bite. Amazing taste.I wont tell the same to beef curry, as its not for my tongue. For me the curry tasted as if i am dipping in a big chilly jar. I have never eaten a dish which is so hot i even thought this dish might be lethal for human consumption. Apparently my srilankan friend enjoyed to the core. So no further comments.

Food was fine but let me tell you, the service is the worst. The hosts doesnt have any idea at all. You have to remind them every 5 mins about the order get any food , eventhough no one else is there. Food was fine. Never will recommend to anyone.

We came exactly before iftar. But they didnt had any dates or iftar menu. Service was very slow we waited for our order 1 hour. Food was very good almost everything is spicy authentic Sri Lanka food. Great taste.

One of our favourite restaurants for Lankan food! Fresh, tasty and absolutely delicious. The best part is its a family run restaurant and the service is amazing! Weekends will be extremely busy so, expect to be waiting to be seated, but it is worth it!Ample parking across the street, expect busy streets and lots of traffic. Value for money!

Since I had more expectations guess not much satisfied came here by 2.30 pm only limited options had a veg meals tastes and quality is good but very bad service if you expect a good courteous service think twice.., environment is good !

Half of the meal was forgotten. Kottu rotti beef and devilled chicken were made only from pieces of fat. We lost our appetite. Never again.

The food was good. Had the lamprais 4/5 hot butter cuttle fish 3/5 egg triangle, (the egg was really soft and not rubbery,impressed )5/5 woodapple juice 4/5.If youre not Sri Lankan the food may be too spicy and also its not super clean like restaurants here. Order takeout. If youre used to eating out in Lanka then you wont have a problem! Hope the restaurant will tidy up so I can invite my friends here😀

Had ordered 18 packets of lamprais and had requested to not include any seafood due to allergies. The staff over the phone had ensured us that they would cater to these requests. However, once the order arrived, we were disappointed to find that the flavour wasnt up to mark and that the packets did in fact have components of seafood in them

Chef Lanka is getting worse now. There is no beverage menu now. When you ask for the beverage menu, manager will come and tell the beverages theyve like a parrot. I was promoting Chef Lanka as best Sri Lankan restaurant. But worse!!! Not recommend at all.

We selected Chef Lanka Al Karama, Dubai to be our 2nd Food Vlog destination and they didnt disappoint us. Have tried lots of places and more to come. I have rarely met such an amazing Team. From Manager to Host everyone were so welcoming. Food was 10/10 with amazing ambiance. Despite of this pandemic they are full of energy and dedication. This place holds bright future ahead. A great place overall in terms of pricing, food diversity and quality. Over the years, the staff kept changing and their service just kept degrading. Service and attendance is horrible. I had been given the wrong orders at times. Delays in service expected while the place is busy. I would give them 5 stars for their vast selection of srilankan short-eats and ginger tea. So far, Ive never had quality issues with their food and would recommend this place to any Srilankan.My previous rating was 4 stars until I visited them today. Service is a big no no.

Since when your staff started lying, food was ordered at 11.30, called and they confirmed it is on the way and when I called at 1.30 food is still at the restaurant. Seriously?

Food is very spicy. They have a buffet in the afternoon over the weekend. Was not impressed with the quality of food. It felt a little old. Also while leaving noticed the manager raising this voice with the coming staff. Did not feel warm and friendly like it used to be.

I being dining in this place over two years, traveling long distance just to enjoy Sri Lankan cuisine.. But recent past the experience is poor & I feel the new staff has no sense of giving a good customer experience as they treating like we are here to dine free .. I have noticed this behaviour few times after the renovation but the service Is soo pathetic.. Today was a similar experience and only person who had interest to serve with a smile was a gentlemen named Suranga . Sad to see a place we loved to dine is getting worse.

Only place in Bur Dubai where typical Sri Lankan food can be tasted, hot n spicy dishes available. Tea served is authentic Sri Lankan tea & taste great. Good to drop in tea time or for dinner.

The one and only worst restaurant in Dubai . I have never experienced such disgusting food in my entire life. I had to wait for an hour to receive my order.Overall the place is piece of junk. I would never ever recommend anyone to visit this restaurant.
