I am conflicted when writing a review for Cafe Bateel as I have to take many things into consideration. First let me start by saying that I frequent Cafe Bateel in Emaar Square quite a bit as I work very close by. In this location I have had the GRILLED SALMON & QUINOA, the THREE CHEESE RIGATONI, and the MUSHROOM RISOTTO and the only one I would eat again is the salmon.1- THREE CHEESE RIGATONIFor the price of this dish at AED 54 and the description in the menu, I had very high hopes of eating an amazing pasta dish. Unfortunately, reality was much different. The dish was bland, the sauce was dry, and the pasta was undercooked. On top of that, the portion was quite small. It was a very underwhelming experience and as a true pasta lover, I was expecting a lot more from Cafe Bateel.2- MUSHROOM RISOTTOThe mushroom risotto was not bad. It was quite delicious actually. But, again, given the high price of the dish at AED 61, I probably wouldnt order it again.3- GRILLED SALMON & QUINOAThe grilled salmon & quinoa dish at Cafe Bateel was absolutely delicious! I didnt leave one bite! The quinoa was cooked to perfection, the salmon had a gorgeous glaze on the outside, and a soft and juicy inside. My only negative review on this dish was that it is quite plain, especially given the AED 99 price. There was nothing that made it standout! I would order this dish again at Cafe Bateel, but it is not a dish I would specifically choose this restaurant for.If there is one things I would go to Cafe Bateel for, however, it is the amazing staff. Everyone is very friendly and always eager to help. They make dining there a wonderful experience.

I’ve known Bateel chain for a very long time and I regularly buy dates from which is one of the best you can get. I’m also impressed with their Café concept where they serve great food, deserts and pastries. I have always enjoyed their well made food, tasty, seasoned and fresh. I never encountered any issues with the food. They also cater for vegans with 100% plant based food, however all of them are salads and soups. I’m sure they can add few other cooked plant based food as well. It’s doesn’t all have to be raw salads. The staff are most of the time attentive but they can get better. Overall great place to get quality food and superb dates, I love the dates stuffed with orange peel!

Good food - tad bit overpriced in my opinion.

Food is good but service in outside seating area is almost always bad .. wanted to make an additional order with my meal no waiter comes to check on outsose clienf for full 20 mins, when I got up.to get waiters attention there were already birds pecking at my food as I had to leave it unattended..Staff unegaged and aloof at I had lunch at 3 pm.when resturant is practically empty yet with all.staff on board no attention given .. best to close outside seating if staff arent trained to handleMust say again Food taste and quality is very good low rating due to service

I have been going to various Bateels in KSA and UAE over the past two years. I always find it good. I went for a few cups of qahwa last time, sitting outside near the Dubai mall fountain. Excellent ambience. The reason that I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars is that I cannot justify the price to the quality. Definitely a good place to go though, I recommend Bateel to many.

I go here a lot for my business breakfast meetings or my business lunch meetings. Either indoors or outdoors, service is good and on point. Price is in line with the quality of the food that is served.

We went to him from our hotel walking, close to the metro station, there are external sessions, the decoration is normal but the place is spacious and the lighting is good, we asked for an Arabic breakfast consisting of bean, labneh, olive and halloumi and we asked for Benedict eggs and the sweetener French toast, French toast needs to be More crispy, very good to excellent eating

The restaurant and coffee shop is very excellent and offers good food
