I just had amazing pizza at IL Forno! I ordered Pepperoni Pizza and their Super supreme pizza that had all the meats in it. I also ordered a pasta bowl that came with gluten free option. Everything tasted so good! I will be coming again soon.

Permanently addicted to IL Forno ... and the One in Mushrif Mall is best among all other branches that I dined in.Firstly, the staff here is super friendly and always welcome with charming smiles, serves you like a guest, even chefs are delighted to see you visiting again. I & my kids often enjoy watching them cook in open kitchen. Food taste and quantity is too good, always challenging to finish. Sitting area and interior gives you a feeling as if you’re dining in a restaurant in an Italian street. Must try Passion fruit juice. Best place for taking friends and family.

Impressive decor. Tasty food. Cheesy pizza with grilled veggies was perfectly cooked. Mozzarella cheese sticks and Penne Arabiata were deliciousand must try.Classic Mohito won my heart. Fresh watermelon and mango juices were refreshing and nicely presented.There is something in the menu for everyone, including kids.The serving quantity is sufficient.We visited Mushrif Mall branch.

Whenever a friend of mine craves for a pasta or pizza, I always recommend or bring them to Il Forno. I can’t count the times that I’ve been to this restaurant (be it at Al Wahda Mall, Mushrif Mall or near Umm Al Emarat Park), or even delivery at home. Every food is just totally amazing. A pizza, pasta and caesar salad will always be in my table. You should try it and the Fettucine Alfredo Pasta is superb, and whenever I crave for seafood, their Marinara Pizza is the best, and by the way, I don’t know his name but he looks like a Manager in Mushrif Mall Branch, he gave us a free chocolate ice cream. He is so nice. Worth it and affordable.

This is my favourite place for pasta, i highly recommend their alfredo pasta, the chicken strips and the black pepper steak were pretty good too, i also truly loved the passion fruit mojito, the service, place and ambience is nice too, chocolate mousse in the end was nice as well

Started off with the chicken wings - they were tooooo goooood. Loved them. For the main course we got the Chicken Barbecue pizza - I would highly recommend it. It has an excellent flavor of cherry tomatoes, chicken strips and barbecue sauce. For the pastas we tried 2. First was the Spaghetti Polpette di Carne (Meatballs) - sooooo yummmy and rich in flavors specially the meatballs were bursting with flavor. The second was the Penne di Pollo Picatta - this was the baked pasta - it was something different we tried. Although it was delicious, it was a bit bland for our taste buds. For the drinks we got the Blue Moon which was delicious and refreshing, and the pineapple juice. Ended our dinner with the oh so tasty blueberry Cheesecake. Great experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place.

Served alongside some salsa, these huge (I mean it!) balls of cheesy deliciousness was great.Our dish had 5, so we both had two each, and I literally took away the last one home.Il Forno PizzaA signature pizza at the restaurant, we ordered a small size and it was quite a generous one to be honest. Topped with italian sauce, mozzarella cheese, ground beef, beef sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, basil, green pepper, oregano and olives, you can literally see all the ingredients well enough on each slice. Loved the pizza base - soft yet crispy on the edges.Tortellini BianckiEach tortellini is stuffed with spinach and cheese, in a creamy sauce. I am not sure what the sauce was made of, but it was a good one. As long as youre not intolerant to dairy, this is a good choice. Although intolerant, I could not stop myself after the first tiny bite as it was good.Tiramisu and Chocolate MousseNever miss on a good Tiramisu if you visit an Italian restaurant, as no one makes it better than them! Nothing else to say as it was delicious.Chocolate Mousse was one huge portion. Quite a shocker but one of the smoothest and creamiest mousse ever. Great service and lovely staff, the restaurant was half full but had enough and more distance between tables. I would suggest the staff to be more interactive and maybe suggest a few items off the menu to customers, as it would really help.

Superb Italian food in a classy ambiance, the manager Ahmed does a great job of looking after you with knowledgeable suggestions and advice.The pizza is fresh baked, the flavors are spot on and the taste is fantastic. Our favorite is the Pizza Roma.The menu is extensive with some excellent choices, we love the Risotto Funghi el Pollo, great texture and perfect taste.The Lasagna Il Forno is another classic worth trying, the beef and cheese melt in your mouth and each bite is a taste of heavenGreat food, excellent location and very good pricing as well.

Today, my visit to IL Forno Mishrif mall was an awful experience amongst all the wonderful places i visited in Abu Dhabi..I wish I could give this place zero stars... You may experience discrimination. I witnessed it. It was pathetic. I will never return. The food was good...Come here if you want attitude... May be non civilised restaurant staff would behave decently when it comes to hospitality...

I love italian cuisine. I recently tried il forno and honestly i was not disappointed. We tried garlic bread, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, margarita and pollo pizza and hamour. I enjoyed my Pollo pizza with lemonade. Kids loved chicken strips and garlic bread. Serving size is so good. We couldnt finish the food as the quantity was great. Overall we had an amazing experience and will visit again.

Italian food is always a favorite and what better than trying out good food with lovely service .Love Italian because of the delicate flavors ,variety of cheeses and off course the pastas.For the starters I tried the Chicken wings where were juicy and succulent.Well coated with the special signature sauces .The wings had the desired level of crispness to them which was lovely .Also tried the Chicken Pizza rolls which were excellent .These rolls were stuffed with cheese ,olives ,pepperoni, chicken , potato chunks and had a base pizza sauce . The rolls were crusty on the exterior and cheesy inside .Each bite was a delight to have .The potato chunks really went went with the whole combination .Moving on to the main course ,I ordered the Pizza Primavera which was a classic thin crust base pizza with exotic veggies and alot of melt in the mouth cheese .The pizza is a great option for the vegetarians and the veggies consisted of broccoli,artichokes,olives and mushrooms .Ravioli di funghi was a delicacy I tried from the stuffed pasta section and it definitely was one of my favorite from the meal. If you’re a lover of pink sauce ,mushrooms with subtle flavor of cheese then you can definitely opt for this one. The ravioli was cooked to perfection and was absolutely fresh .Penne di pollo al piccata was a pasta from the baked section .This pasta was covered with a layer of baked bread on the top .It was pasta with very rich ,heavy, creamy and cheesy béchamel sauce .Other ingredients included sun-dried tomatoes ,capers ,artichokes and chicken.The portion was quite filling and enough for two I would say.Chocolate Mousse for the dessert was the perfect way to end my delicious meal.This mousse was a combination of layers with chocolate mousse and mascarpone cheese .It was topped with chocolate syrup ,chocolate shreds ,tiramisu biscuits and fresh strawberries.C-Power for the drinks was absolutely the right choice to make ,as it was a blend of mango ,kiwi strawberry, pineapple and melon .Quite thick in consistency but loved the freshness and mix of all these fruits .Apart from the food being delicious ,I absolutely adored how the staff was very friendly and had great hospitality skills .The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a date night ,casual dinner or a family gathering .

Pizza was good but the service was bad had to go the counter to order after 15 minutes of waiting on the table

Service is not fast and staff takes a lot of time. The food is fast and reasonably priced. Gone here 3 times. Tried lasagna, pasta and pizza. Have tried few sides as well. Good selection of italian spices and flavours. Would have rated 3.5 just because of slow and unorganised service.
