A good hospital needs more than just good doctors. The Pediatric clinic is the perfect place for kids to get new infections. The hospital doesn’t take reservations by phone and accepts walk ins only. The clinic is just like a nursery with kids of all ages playing, coughing and sneezing in others faces.The reception employee is under qualified. He discourages patients not to register saying that there are many patients. He kept my kid’s ID for 40 minutes until I found out that he forgot to register him although I asked him two times. He didn’t even say sorry!Another employee suggested I should submit a complaint so that someone from hospital shall call me within 48 hours. One week later no one cared to call.I feel like the hospital administration does not respect patients.

I have been going to Kanad Hospital for the past eight years. Most of the time, I come for urgent care (allergic attacks) and ENT concerns. Their patient care is always the best. Today I had a check-up on Family Med for the first time, and all the processes were smooth. Starting from the reception to the Doctor and his assistant, Referral to Laboratory and Physiotherapist up to the Pharmacy. The process was smooth and efficient. As a patient, I feel safe and comfortable because the staff listens and talks to your concerns. Each staff knows what they are doing, and they can answer you courteously if you have any inquiries. Doctors and nurses are very sweet and excellent with their work. Hospital treatment was the best. However, the rating goes to administration staff and receptionists who will not provide you the right information and will always delay their work. I tried contacting the reception through a phone call several times and never answered back. I went to the hospital to get a live birth notification and they told me that the system couldn’t add my newborn baby yet. I have waited for too long and nothing yet. Tried calling them again and guess what? No one answers.Please find a solution to your administration staff’s poor customer service.

I have had two appointments here in the last couple of months and both were quick, smooth experiences. The waiting times were 5-10 minutes only and I received careful and compassionate care.

Very horrible experience. Writen complaint posted in complaint box. Hope they will investigate and contact me. Overall experience is bizarre. After my graduation I never wrote something such lengthy. The page got over so I stopped.

Very very bad service.The doctors at this hospital are excellent. The nurses are excellent. However, I have never seen such bad people as administration staff. Their behaviour towards the patients are not equal, the admnin staff is treating the expat patients as slaves. Yesterday (4/5/2021) I took my 5-day-old baby for blood test. the staff told me he could call when the result will come. Then a female stall from the hospital admin called me and told that the baby to be admitted that evening, same time i started from my house and reached hospital, I first visited in UCC care reception and the receptionist there told me to go to the main reception and accordingly went to the main reception, surprisingly they told me to go back to UCC care again. (No one was at the main reception. 15 min. Waited but no one came. Finally, I called customer care then someone came. Its about the main reception in a big hospital.) When they went back to UCC care, they told them to go to the main reception again. the whole process made me lose my brains, I felt like I am being just misguided and my time is being wasted for no reason while carrying a new born baby and when I spoke to a nurse, she took us inside to one doctor, the doctor told us that there is no update for the infants admission in the hospital system, The hospital staff was totally unaware of the admission call from hospital know to admit that they do not know who made such a call. Then the doctor apologized a lot and told us to leave for home and we will be updated once admission is required. They walked back and forth for about 1 hour with my baby, who was only 5 days old. I faced this kind of trouble first time. We went back and thanked God that there was nothing wrong with the babys blood test.

I visited Knad Al Ain hospital and better feel other hospitals. They have variety of good doctors and even their emergency section is also helpful and satisfying.Good staff whether nurses, receptionist or other workers. Doctor was very calm, cool. They made me feel very positive and also comfortable through out my journey.

Best physiotherapy department that I have ever experienced. Dr. Prasitha helped me with my issues, took great care and patience with me. This is a real hands on department, unlike other hospitals where patients are attached to heating pads/weights - these therapists take time to work with their patients. She made a huge difference to me and I cant thank her enough. The reception ladies are also very caring and polite.

Revamped Oasis hospital is spacious, modern and patient friendly. Less waiting time to meet the doctor even if you are a walk-in patient to the Urgent Care Clinic. Parking spaces ample.

I think it is a good hospital and feel that the ob/gyn doctors and staff are all capable and friendly. The hospital is clean and well maintained. The check in process and waiting rooms could stand to be updated. At check in there needs to be more than just 1 or 2 people checking in patients as it creates a huge crowd around the nurses station, especially when people bring all of their children with them to the appointments, and it increases the waiting time. If there were a more streamlined process it might eliminate the need for people to arrive 30 minutes before their appointment. The waiting rooms are for women only and are small and cramped. Why is there no family waiting area? Finally, it is not very calming to have children running through the hallways and climbing on counter tops while you are waiting for your appointment. I would be interested to know what exactly the hospital policy is on this as it is very disturbing. Overall, this is a good hospital (I feel) and as long as Im able to get in and out quickly I dont mind going for my appointments.

Our first baby was born here almost a week ago. We had lot of apprehensions initially as we we were told hospitals do not like it when you transfer your case midway during your pregnancy. We went there during my wifes last trimester as my wife was not satisfied with the birthing facilities at NMC Al-Ain. On the first impression, we we were very satisfied with the health facilities. I am a biomedical engineer so I could clearly see that the hospital equipment was top of the line. The mid-wife was kind enough to gave us a tour of their birthing suite and explained to us all the procedure that they undertake for the well-being of mother and baby. We were very appreciated of the fact that the hospital promote Golden hour after birth. An undisturbed Golden hour after birth is very important for the bonding of child and mother, and unfortunately most hospitals have no idea about this. They only focus on immediately cutting the umbilical cord, measuring/weighing baby and giving it shots. The latest research tells us that Golden hour is extremely important and Oasis hospital promotes it. They also let the husband stay with the wife and comfort her during the delivery (something most hospitals disallows). Our experience with doctors was very reasonable as expected, but our experience with mid-wives was really exceptional. We found their knowledge and expertise extraordinary. They really know their craft and manage the situation very expertly. Our insurance company (Dubai insurance) was very uncooperative but the hospital made sure that we receive the best possible care and are not haggled and pestered for the troubles our insurance company was giving to them. I must commend here Miss Lucy who went out of the way to ensure that we are not bothered too much by the tension our insurance company was giving to all of us. All in all, a very positive experience.

***Update***visited the ENT department yesterday. The Specialists there are excellent - a very thorough examination with special attention paid to history and ailments to try and diagnose the problem correctly. Admin could still be improved as the pharmacy / registration staff took almost as long as the actual consultation just to process my paperwork, but forgivable based on experience with the consultant. recommended.*************They have some good doctors but the waiting times are an absolute turn off. Administration is OK, but they have some surly nurses.
