It was the best hospital earlier but since the last 3 yrs i am extremely dissatisfied. Even after arriving 15-20mins before the appoinments we are made to wait for atleast 45 - 50mins and more. After you see the dr yiu are reffered to another dr and the other dr says all is well and u dont need any mediactions.. Plz be professional and stop referring to other doctors unnecessarily..Shifted over to burjeel now for quick and trustworthy treatment.

A nice and clean hospital. Their service is fast as long as they understand exactly what is happening and or what u want. Cooperative staff. Well situated and Im happy to see how they adhere to the covid-19 preventive mesures with sanitizer and instructions all around. Went there for a PCR test. Satisfied with the service and price. Also the nurse who took the swap was as well gentle as compared to some others that I have visited before. And results came before the expected time.

My wife was having phobia with confined space, she refused MRI twice in NMC speciality, Abu Dhabi.Radiologists and reception team all were so helpful, they arranged special slot for MRI to get her ample time, to relax and take her time to get into the machine also made her feel confident to over come the fear. A big thank you to NMC team we done MRI today.

I highly recommend Dr. Prabhu. He is great and very good! In just one day, my wounds i can say that already healed. And also the nurses are all nice, very friendly and accommodating. NMC is one of the best in UAE!

I would like to commend Dr. Sunita Gupta for her professionalism and genuine care towards me as her patient. As far as I can remember, I came to her when I was already in my 7th month of pregnancy. It was late but she never made me feel uncomfortable nor hesitant to trust her. She’s so easy to reach out that Even when she was on leave, she was still communicating with me thru her personal number to follow up about my previous check-up history from my previous OB. Something that not all OB are willing to do to their patients esp if they are on leave.During my CS Operation, everything was so smooth. She really made me feel so safe on her hands. The NMC Electra staff members have no decency to talk to the patients who post negative review about them. They call and talk in utmost rude manner and threaten us to pull down the negative comments. Ill never ever visit the NMC Electra again. Wish I could rate the staff with *ZERO* stars.

My husband and I would like to thank Dr. Sunita Gupta for taking part in the birth of our little son Miguel, a very welcoming and accommodating Doctor we can even reach her via phone call (for emergencies) and Whatsapp for any additional clarifications, even though she has a lot of patients, she never rushed on every appointments and instructions are being given detailed by detailed. On my delivery day my husband and I felt the high tension since its our first baby but we felt very comfortable and confident since we are handle by a very professional and caring Doctor. We felt we are in good hands and that gave us peace of mind towards the big day. Until now after the delivery, she even offered us to contact her incase we have questions especially on my recovery. I have a very good experience at NMC Abudhabi. Dr. Deepa Puthukoot is excellent. Her Nurse is wonderful as well. Also I had a great service from Dr. Prasad and his Nurse (Pulmonology). Overall experience was excellent in this hospital.

No value for peoples time - good at time wastingOn 12/08/2021 updating the review as belowSo I had a scheduled appointment with the doctor on 15/08/2021 but then I had to go to my country for some immediate reasons and then I booked the ticket on Monday following which I called nmc speciality to reschedule the appointment to which they tried to connect to the reception of the doctor and it turned out of no use, they just returned telling the doctor is full and the only possibility is walk in and I asked for 11/08/2021 walk-in and they conveyed me it’s a weekly off for the doctor.So the only choice left was to walk in on Thursday and I walked in and the reception tells it’s full and they are not accepting walk ins.Last time when I had a bad experience a gentleman named David had told me befor going for a review next time please inform him.And I tried doing it but unfortunately he was on leave but his colleague assisted me to have a word with the doctor and the doctor told to inform the reception and they will let you in.Now the reception asks me to wait till the sister calls. This wait is already 25 mins now.The sister called and the service was fair. The rating is for thier receptionThese are the type of people in reception who tell you to fill a form even if yu are dying.Absolutely professional people who have no sense.Some one show me a negative rating buttonEvery time you visit either with appointment or without appointment you are made to wait a minimum of one hourReasonsif you have appointment then some patients take more time sir.If yu don’t have appointment it’s fully booked sirAnd if yu came early for the appointment you still have to wait after your time because there Are people before you and if you come late you are late sirIt should be renamed to waiting Centre

I just went to their pcr drive thru and man that was fast! from getting the details to the pcr test it took only minutes. They practice safe protocols. Very convenient and efficient. Would definitely recommend NMC specialty hospital Abu Dhabi!

M writing dis to personify my experience. Motherhood is always precious, second time around although u seem familiar u still feel blues of having to go through the pain. Having had a c section with my first born and the googling aid and the free advices had me put off the normal delivery as “NOT GOIN TO HAPPEN” option. But my gynec, Dr SUREKHA PAI, differed from the time I met her. Her consultations were not just soothing, reassuring and informative but always put me at ease and allowed me to embrace it in new light every single time I paid her the visits. The cherry on the cake was when I delivered normally, as against everyones apprehensions, even mine to an extent. I am back to leading a normal life and I feel energised like never before, this time around my energy and anxious looking forward is only in regards to baby as opposed to stitches and the pain from c section. Truly grateful n many thanks to her and the preliminary staff who have made me and my family elated for second time around with my lil bundle of joy.I highly recommend Dr SUREKHA PAI, and for all the anxious and contemplating mothers I just wanna say, give her a visit and leave the rest to her and you enjoy ur phases.

Its all about my first pregnancy from Pre-Pregnancy Test to normal Delivery. Dr. Surekha Pai, She is like angel for us as we were first time parents so we require more expert guidance. Dr. Surekha Pai has advised me in every phase of my pregnancy about my diet exercise.. She has taken all precaution and advised me accordingly like how to control sugar, diet plan, what to do for Normal delivery and much more small small questions that I have. And when I was admitted on 27th May, 2021, I found All Nurses, Support staff so helpful. Dr. Asmaa Abdellatif Mohamed Badr and Dr. Sindhu Ann Korah are so friendly. I didnt feel like I am in labour room. And after delivery when I was shifted to postpartum Room, they taught me how to feed to the baby and other small small things that is so important. And there was amazing food that we enjoyed. Overall I enjoyed my pregnancy journey.

You will get appointment for pediatrician if your baby is having NO FEVER, NO COUGH, PHYSICALLY FIT! Don’t understand then why the pediatrician is sitting there??? If your baby have a simple running nose also; they will ask u to go urgent care; where u can see a long queue of patients for Covid test. You need to stand the same area with your baby to meet the pediatrician in urgent care. I called there to book an appointment with Dr. Melvin and the telephone assistant said, since the Baby is having running nose, We will not get appointment and Doctor will not allow. That’s their hospital policy!!Worst ever policy and service. Better to visit any medical center than visiting this hospital. Doctors in this hospital are just to consult people who are healthy and fit. Not for those who are sick.

Good doctors, bad management. I tried doing covid test here, it was busy but the was not the issue. The people working here are the most inefficient people i have ever seen. It literally takes 10 mins for one person to do a test, where in other places less than 2mins. I waited for an nearly an hour with 13 people in front of me. I remember standing in line with 50 people plus and finishing faster.

This hospital do not have a sense of time. Never respect your appointments. It does not matter what time is your appointment, spare at least 2 hours to wait. Visited NMC Specialty Hospital April 16 for severe ankle pain, i was told by the appointment desk that I cannot go directly to a specialist without going through a GP first which is fine by me, whats disappointing is that i didnt even last 10 seconds inside the GP room (Dr pemina), when I told her whats wrong, she immediately ask me to go to another doctor, without checking me first, wasnt able to sit down, the door wasnt even close yet when she ask me to visit another floor. I know its not her expertise but GP should do a better job or at least pretend theyre checking the patients before sending them away, I was charge 50 aed twice for merely checking my body temperature.

Hospital staff is very helpful and upto the date. You need not to worry about your family. Drs are absolutely very well trained and compassionate. Once your dear ones admitted in Hospital, staff took all well drafted methods for excellent treatment. Dr Sunita Gupta, Gynac is very compassionate, detailed and well following up till the end. She took utmost care during all 6-7 months till personal came for my wifes delivery.Food in Hospital for patient is very nice and hygenic ( Thanks to Mr Chinmaya)

I am attending my sis in law for her delivery and and later for her baby health issue. She had been attended by Dr Shubha D and team and and was warded in 714. I want to express my appreciation for all the kindness and love being provided by the duty nurses. And a big shot out to sister Aarti and sister Raakhi .. Who had shown an unconditional continueous support. It was a complicated case but the team work of Dr Dhinesh, Dr Shubha was a life saving experience. I am hearty thankful for being provided a support system which is not less than any family. I wish all luck to this beautiful team. As far as you people are around we are not scared to increasing population of the town. Keep shining.

Very poorly managed hospital. I have waited for a procedure report for 2 weeks and finally received a one page report. I have requested for CD and the doctor responded that CD is blank, may be not properly recorded at that time. Such response from a well known hospital chain is really funny !!

Did the second knee replacement for my mom who is 68yrs old done by Dr Satish. Mom insisted on Dr. Satish, as her 1st surgery experience was very good and the recovery was fast. This time too the entire process was made very smooth... from consultation to tests to admission and the surgery. I would I highly recommend Dr. Satish... he is an excellent surgeon and a very nice person. Easy to talk to and professional. The overall experience was very good, the staff ( nurses, support staff) were kind and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Dinkum from the physiotherapy team... he is simply amazing... made my mom very comfortable, assisted with her exercises and is very patient and kind.

I accompanied my auntie to have a check up of her sugar and bp with Dr Pemina of IM Dept and I was very please with the way she handles her consultation - very professional and she made her patient comfortable. Also, it’s really a double thumbs up for the reception staffs and nurses who assisted her all throughout the consultation. They were very friendly and professional and accommodating. My auntie can’t hear properly and quite nervous and yet they were treating her patiently and with smiles. Kudus!

I dont event want to put 1 star.horrible treatment. yesterday I had breathing difficulties. I have nasal Polyps and cant breath well. I choke while sleeping even. yesterday was a sever case . I went to royal nmc in Khalifa City A, my insurance didnt cover it. so they recommended me to drive off to nmc specialty in AD . I went there asking for help. asking to be seen by a Dr. 2 nurses came to me and only checked my oxygen level they said , madam you are fine we cant assist you we prioritize other patients. they spent 20 minutes with me convincing me to leave without even letting me check with a dr!IVE NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE BEEN IN A HOSPITAL WHERE THEY KICK OUT PATIENTS ! IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU THEY CANT BREATHE! YOU MUST RUSH THEM TO THE DR! I EVEN EXPLAINED THAT I DROVE 40 MINS TO GET HERE THEY DIDNT EVEN CARE! I CALLED THE CALL CENTER TO COMPLAIN THEY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 10 MINUTES!HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. INSANE PRICES AND TERRIBLE STAFF SPECIFICALLY IN NMC SPECIIALTY. THEY ARE ALL RUTHLESS!

The Nursing staff have given exceptional service and they always rendered their duties with a smile. Undoubtedly best nursing staff in my opinion. This is the experience i had last month.Nmc is generally well known for their doctors and now I realised that, so is their attitude.1st i took an appt with Dr. Rekha Sharma and met her. The way she treated me, was so bad that I had to complain about her and was referred to Dr. Sindhu Korah, who came as an angel after Dr. Rekha.Dr. Rekha is very rough and started to yell, if you express any pain. Its human nature but not understood by her. She just prescribed a lot of medicines and was irritated to repeat the dosage of the same.After my complain, a staff from the customer service called and told me, that I can approach him in case of any issue. When i tried to reach him, after that day, he was not responding at all.After this, bad hour with Dr. Rekha, I had to meet Dr. Dinesh. If you dont take an appt to meet a doctor at nmc, you have to undergo a self punishment of waiting no less than 3 hours. However i patiently waited that day, and as soon as i entered the cabin, the 1st question he asked was, dont you want to go home? Why have you been waiting so long? Anyway i ignored it and took the same in a positive manner itself. His face to face consultation was really good and I have to appreciate that. My experience was when I was asked to call back once the results are received for the tests prescribed. Reports take ages at nmc nowadays.Anyways, once the result was out, I called the doctor, and the nurse picked up took my number and said the doctor will call back.Why is this option of calling the doctor given, if they cant speak when we call? We all have our individual things to do. Anyways after about 5 hours the doctor called back, and there was some line problem at their end but the doctor got wild at me for that. He was like why did you call? Tell fast. I have other patients to serve.Is this the way a doctor is supposed to speak?Overall a really really horrible experience.ALL HAVE ATTITUDE AT NMC,COS THEY KNOW THEY ARE IN DEMAND

Its not good hospital for cancer treatment, they guide us for wrong treatment they are trying to use maximum of our insurance to make their profit so please dont approach them with cancer issues my wife one of the victim

My partner was admitted to room 603, 6th Floor ward, He had undergone a Laparoscopic surgery. It was a successful one. Dr. Mitra is very knowledgeable in his field and did a very great job with the surgery. All nurses and staff were also accommodating. They attended to all our needs promptly.

This is the best hospital in Abu dhabi. Special thanks to Dr. Shabiir Mohammed for taking care of my health. The nurses and all medical staff are very professional,they really care about you as a pacient and they are very knowledgable and well informed. I was comitted in the nmc hospital and my recovery was so quick thanks to the doctor and the nurses that did a perfect job. I am pleasantly surprised and grateful for their work

Admitted in 7th floor no 715 excellent stuff from doctors to nurses i loved my stay from receptions to all stuff in general . My Orthopaedic specialist Dr. Binu Sasidharan, is an excellent, kind, considerate, extremely knowledgeable doctor!
