I would like to commend the great initiative of our beloved Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for putting up this field hospital in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi to cater to the needs of the COVID patients. I was confined here for 9 days and my ordeal in fighting the virus was not easy. I had all the symptoms, high fever for 9 days (5 days at home plus 4 days while in the facility), body aches, diarrhea, pneumonia, blood clotting, etc. I was under oxygen-aided breathing for 4 days due to difficulty of breathing. I almost gave up. But the doctors and nurses were all very attentive to my needs and they always encouraged me to fight it and to be strong. They shared with me that some of them were also infected before and were able to recover from it. They gave me hope and strength in the darkest days of my life. I saw how they worked hard despite being exhausted attending to the patients needs, Their jobs were not that easy especially in handling rude and impatient wards. They are overly exposed to positive patients and yet they carry on their jobs with utmost care, patience, dedication, commitment, bravery, and sincerity to help patients recover and at least feel comfortable when they get anxious and down. They always keep a positive and encouraging disposition to assure patients that they would recover soonest. These front health-line workers deserve our respect, admiration, and gratitude. They are human beings who also have their own families to go home to and who are vulnerable to infection, too. They have sacrificed a lot for our own safety and recovery . Without them, their care and excellent service, we could have not make it out there. They are our unsung heroes. I am much indebted to all of the doctors, nurses, cleaners, sanitation workers, food caterers, maintenance crew and all other workers and management who run the facility. With all humility, sincerity and grateful heart, I salute and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking care of me and all the patients under your care while under quarantine in the facility. I would also like to thank NMC and their professional staff who took care of me and all my needs before i was transferred to the Field hospital. I could only wish you all good health and safety for you and all your families. May God bless you all and put you under his loving care and protection. All the best treatment was completely messed up by the horrible treatment of the Head Nurse, one of the rudest nurse I have ever met.Can anyone pls share the telephone number of this hospital, its no where to be found???????

I am here since 5pm on 2nd March, its been 4 hours since I am waiting that I was promised that they are arranging an ambulance to transfer me to Emirates Fields Hospital. Extremely rude staff, especially a mid aged Philippina receptionist. Raised her voice on me so many times, completely shut me off everytime I asked her about the transfer. Later I found out, she didnt even inform the other hospital about my transfer. I will take this matter to the officials. And I will complaint about that female as well.Extremely sad how pathetic the service is. Utterly embarrassing.

My husband was stuck here for 4 hours as he was covid positive. They promised him a transfer to another hospital but was shut down by a rude philipina receptionist whenever he asked. Later found out she hadnt even informed the other hospital. He had to stay the night. Horrible service.

I have never seen nurses like this in my life .. very bad behavior .. a category that does not see patients as patients

Very noisy, extreme lack of Privacy. Requested to see the doctor since 2 days, yet not been able to have a consultation with the doctor.

Extremely dirty rooms and walls....uncooperative staff...unprofessional staff members...patients were not being treated as patients.
