Bad doctors and careless nurses, they are there for the salary, no humanity in how they treat us as patients, also when i was there when ever I ask the doctor medical question, he feels bad like its not my business and I have to take the treatment without knowing what it is?? he was trying to figure which treatment to use every other day changing the treatment, I had to leave and go to another hospital in which doctors treat us with humanity and knows how to treat patients. Im sure the good reviews written by their own staff

One best hospitals in Abu Dhabi. So far good experience except the outpatient clinic visit registration. Staffs and doctors are very friendly and explain you everything. Many specialities you can find here which not available in other hospital in the city. If you are planning to visit Outpatient clinic and your insurance is not covering direct billing then please take insurance authorization before your visit. Please do atleast 7 days before your visit. Registration staff at the counter are not friendly and couldnt provide much information.

Very bad doctors, and nurses. no proper help

I went there as a transfer from a hospital to the ICU for my 2 years old son.I was so worry when I read the comments but what I noticed is totally different from what I expected.I went to the ICU section for my son and all nurses and doctors were so helpful and informative.Nurses were so kind with my frightened baby. They played with him tried to comfort him as much as they could. Cant thank them enough for bringing back my son healthy.Ur efforts is much much appreciated.

This hospital is NOT FOR PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY1. No drive through access for Pediatric Emergency.2. Acute shortage of nursing Staff.3.Poorly executed registration Process.Worst Experience. Was into pediatric emergency by 10.00pm. My brother was suffering from a leg injury. We had to lift him from the parking lot to the wheelchair near the entrance since there was no access for vehicles. There was no one in the registration desk, and took about 7 min to complete the registration. We asked the nurse to attend the case, but we were asked to wait, since there were more than 5 patient registered prior to ours. There was Only 2 staff nurses available , of which only one could attend the patients .We waited for more than 1.5 HOURS after which they transferred the patient to the Adult emergency, which couldve been easily done the moment we arrived. It took another 1.5 HOURS here for x-ray, consulting and dressing the wound. We were out by 1.00 AM.Really Hard to believe that this is a Govt. run hospital. Proper management and availability of more nurses could have resolved a case like this in a maximum of 30 mins.This is just the case of one patient, there were many other cases on the same day who suffered from these delays including head injury, a baby having breathing problem and many other.This hospital is not for pediatric Emergency as per my Experience. Hope it improves.

SKMC is really a good medical center in AD. Me and my family have done successful surgeries, attended many appointments and consultations and even were brought up to the ER. We trust the medical services SKMC are providing. The staff we have dealt with were very cooperative and professional. However, their building is getting old and I think they need to remodel or renovate. I don’t like that their toilets are so very small. And patients when getting out of the operations they have to pass by everyone “no privacy” there is no special channel for them!

Best hospital in equipment, worst one in staff .They might be professional but the are so bad in treating patients.Staff are so arrogant starting from the reception till the last person meet.Long long long process in and between registration, patient’s assessment and doctor checking.I think it’s belong to the shortage in staff, however; management needs to focus more about the staff reactions with patients and the complications in process.This hospital deserve to be better.

I had surgery to repair my fractured finger on 06/10/2020. My heartfelt thanks to all the staff in unit B1 starting with the nurses assigned to me right through to the OR #5 staff up to the Surgeon. It was only a day surgery. They made me feel very comfortable and well-cared for. Their professionalism and empathy helped me through that day. Rarely did I meet such an organized team, soft-spoken and full of smiles. My God bless each one of them. Million thanks.

WORST service, doctors and nurses are so far from caring for the patients or respecting them, I saw nurse yelling at patient, and one was sleeping at night in the ward while my mom rang the bill for 25 minutes and no body attend it!!I made complain to the manager of unit D 1 and also the head of the internal medicine who is called dr. Ashr.. but none of them cared or did any thing, asked to change the doctor who was arrogant and refused to involve us as family in the treatment plan but also this head of this department and the doctor refused, so I left the hospital to a place where they protect the right of the patients and their families.ALSO stop your staff from writing good reviews in google, we are not fool

I came to emergency because of severe pain in my lower back...when the receptionist asked me whats wrong and when I was explaining I told her I thought I made a wrong move but the pain was getting stronger during the day and now its unbearable...all what she wrote is back pain because of wrong move at the gymThe dr/nurse came and informed me that we only take emergency cases and for us your case is stable without even asking me whats wrong... or how i feel...its 4am and im outside the hospital without being attendedIm came to the nearest hospital and thats how im treated .

Badly waiting 24hrs you feel more worst get more sick because surrounded by having fever,cough. after giving medicine they keep you waiting for nothing!

WORST doctors and Worst nurses, no body care, they just come to finish the working hours and go home, I mean Ive been to other hospitals and found good and bad, but in SKMC they are horrible, as if you are in souq, not hospital, this was good hospital with the old international doctors, but now all the doctors and nurse and their admin are not international and all the crew changed to a careless team. Funny thing is that the good reveiw in here are from their staff, they think they can fool us.

They treat patient as an object, no empathy at all, even when complained to maneger of d1, he ignored, thank God we left to another hosp. Where we got treated nicely.

Very bad experience from emergency department. they asked to pay 1000aed after that nobody is taking care. while shouting only they are doing something. we waited more than 3 hrs. that nurse in the department she is a useless person no help from her side. the doctor also taken too much time. this type of attitude to the patients is not good.

Very poorly run hospital. Disorganized and even with scheduled appointment they made us wait nearly 2 hours with a newborn baby. Extremely low level of service for a UAE government hospital.

Im still new here in Abu Dhabi when I came visit here with my family because of my Uncle. I was mesmerized how luxurious this hospital is. They have great facility, waiting areas for male and female is huge. The security is tight, you will absolutely feel safe here. The quality of service here is top notch. Doctor nd nurse having to much attitude. I went there because in the past it was good hospital, but lately the care is bad and the doctors and nurses are of attitude and provide very low quality service, especially nurses in D1 b and the doctors there as well never listen to you. so disappointed, stayed 1 week with no improvement .. so i requested to change the doctor who was not explaining any treatment or procedure and was patientless with the son of the patient, but the HEAD to the medical wards (dr. ashr...) refused to change the doctor.. as I know we have the right to change the doctor when are not comfortable with him or he is having attitude with us..so after week with no clear idea about whats going on we left to another hospital and all is good now. I will never go there any more.

Careless doctors and nurses, rang the bill and it took them 40 min to come bcz they were busy laughing and chating as i saw them at the nursing station!..that was in semi ICU ward..d1b..doctors hate to discuss patient disease and dont include them in treatment saying that they have no time yo explain all the details to us.. complained to unit manager..he did nothing (moh)..Doctors and nurses with worst atitude.

My experience is horrible, started not to trust hospitals due to skmc doctors and nurses, as if they are robots, they dont want me to share my concern, they dont want me to understand the disease saying that im not doctor and they dont want me to be involved in the care plan or decision making..which,,era is this??with the low quality treatment i got and unpro staff i met, i will never ever go to this hospital again

I didn’t even get treated for my sickness there . they just showed me the way out and suggested a private hospital instead .. Worst emergency department ..

I requested for medical examination to physical injury caused by assault to submitted to police. Based on their hospital policy, this case is not covered by the insurance.The required me to deposit AED 1,000 and whatever the coverage of the examination they will return the remaining amount. After my traumatic experience with this type of policy they told me that I cannot take the change for the 1,000 and only after one week (this procedure was not explained to me from the beginning). They informed me that they will call me and unfortunately it has been 2 weeks and I havent receive a call or message. What I received is only the survey link. I called couple of times but nobody is answering the phone in the cashier. I hope there will be justice on this case

Bad experience in emergency, horrible with dealing with small babies. Instead of helping small baby (20 months) with a high fewer (38.9) nurse was more worried does the baby has insurance, which he has, and left the baby crying and throwing up to check his insurance. Waiting for doctor too long and we just left the hospital and went to another which gave my son proper treatment

I met one of the doctors regarding my moms case. He told us she needs a surgery,we wanted to ask coz we were in shock he gave us general information and said google about the surgery👎. I will submit an offical complaint right after I receive the medical report that he neglected to do. I keep calling asking about it and even went their, they said the doctor havent done anything, its funny how they called a lot just to do the surgery. I felt that they cared about making money more than my moms health. I would never let that dr lay a hand on my mom👍

The hospital overall has a very good-pediatric clinic, with Drs and other staff being very professional, and doing their best to help.The thing that lets it down though is the wait time to receive medication from the pharmacy, on busy days the wait time is more than one hour. The process needs to be more streamlined to reduce wait times and this is with all of the stations being occupied by different pharmacists.

Sooooooo disappointed by the nurses and the drs in D1 and the manager there do nothing when you complain about the nurses who dont answer the bill or the doctors who show once or twice a week, what kind of care is this, never seen such a careless team from doctors, nurses and the ward manager, even his assistance salwa, did nothing to help us as patient and family and since my health didnt improve I went to another hospital as feeling comfortable is part of the treatment and that is something I didnt find in this ward, maybe someone cares read this and do something about such nurses and doctors and unit manager

I have never seen careless and with attitude doctors and nurses as The staff in this hospital and the biggest problem is when you complain, they dont care and no action has been taken, I left the hospital sick as i was worried for my life and went to Noor hospital where staff treats me as human and cared enough to make me well again in few days, and that was the opposite of what i saw from doctors and nurses in D1 and D2

Good hospital and clean , they have excellent doctors, nurses and staff but they lack in some issues. I had operation in this hospital it was good and the staff helped me.

Great hospital as they were the only health care facility that were up to the challenge and agreed to treat my brother who was diagnosed with tricky benign brain tomar at age of 7. Now, he’s 24. All said his survival chance was less than 5%.

Had very bad experience with the dr B and dr. T And nurses, in d1 dont care for the patients and dont allow family to be involved in the treatment, and deal with patient as an object we left hospital while still not in good healt as dad had heart issues and these 2 drs refused to refer him to cardiologist and reason is that his main diagnose is lung infection, so no need for cardiologist though he is on 2 heart medicine !! we ran seeking better treatment in other hospital in which a cardiologist said the heart was becoming more weak and we came on time so he increased the medicine dose, . now he s fine. Dont wana think if we stayed in there what would have happened

Worse experience ever, Dr Bakry and Dr Thana had bad expericene with them, dont like to ivolve the family with the treatment of the patients, and when asked to change the doctor as im not comfortable with their attitude nor their treatment, they refused and said its NOT MY RIGHT! add to this nurses in D1 are careless and no sympathy at all while caring for the patients, i made complains but no one listen including the manager of that unit

A patient visiting hospital is already in pain and distress and the least he expects is respect and peace. Experienced an absolutely disappointing customer service today destroying the name of the great Sheikh Khalifa by attending a patient rudely. Hope someone in the management wakes up and takes some serious action to change the environment into peaceful and respectful location and sensitize the staff to be empathetic with patients.

Worst doctor for the GI and worst customer service, pls let your staff know that they need to respect the patients no matter what nationality they are. add to this the nurses in D2 are so careless about the patient health as my relative fell down while they are chatting at nursing stations

Terrible, their x-ray is so blurry that i had to go to another hospital to get a better x-ray photo. would not recommend visiting, has bad doctors too.

I went to the emergency room once in pain the way the nurse entered the needle was wrong but hamdullah the pain went away. But i have surgery next week i hope they dont do the same with the needle as i have a phobia from them...

Hi, not good nurses, when tried to talk to the nurse in D1 at night for pain medicine, i found her sleep in her seat!! where is the incharge?? I will no way go there for any reason, espcially with arrogant doctor who misdiagnosed.
