Astounding food with amazing ambience. However food quantity was not adequate compared to rates of the dishes. 3 or more dish one should order to urge over the starvation. Recommending Tamba to increase the food quantity. Also, there is no live music as told by Zomato and Google.

Best food we have ever eaten. 40 countries and hundreds, if not thousands, of restaurants later - nowhere compares to Tamba. The staff are so friendly and caring, the food is on another level, the restaurant is beautiful - you literally just cannot fault it. There are plenty of high-end restaurants in Abu Dhabi but Tamba is what we miss most. We have moved to London now and a year later are still yet to find anywhere that comes close to it. Tamba is truly in a league of its own. If it werent for COVID, it would probably be worth flying back to Abu Dhabi just for Tamba. Cannot wait to go again. If you ever get the chance to visit, go! You will not regret it, it is one of the best dining experiences you will ever have.

The atmosphere is the restaurant was great, the service was fast and the stuff was very friendly.The starters was really delicious and I was surprised about that. The main courses was good. The good thing about the restaurant all the dishes came with special flavor the kind of flavor that you didn’t try it before. I was very happy about the quality of food, it’s very difficult to find a kind of this restaurant with this high quality and unique flavor. I will recommend this restaurant and 100% will come back again.

Tamba is famous for its innovative dishes in Abu Dhabi. That’s one place, that is not your regular restaurant. Be it their cocktails, food, ambiance or service, everything will exceed your expectations.We went for the lazy brunch which was worth every penny. We did end up ordering things from a la carte as well, because one cannot leave Tamba without having their snails in sambal or the KFC- Kolhapuri Fried Chicken.The lazy lunch is at 295 with alcohol.You have the most amazing menu and all their special dishes in it like the root veg chips, Delhi mix, lamb seekh, fried idli, grilled prawns, stuffed mushrooms, masala rub wagyu and lamb shank. All of these are must haves. If you’re looking to just enjoy your day and unwind with some amazing crowd this is the place you need to head to.

A delayed posting during new years eve at Tamba restaurant. I am mesmerized by how they presented their food and mind you the taste is extraordinary. I was craving for cream puffs for months and little do i know they have it here. A must-try restaurant.

An amazing experience from booking until goodbys.- It is better if you book and ask for directions as it is tricky if didnt go to WTC mall before.- They accommodate special requests and have excellent attention to details.- It has a very sensational ambiance.- We had Ayoosh as our server for the night and he was very attentive and professional. Along with the other welcoming staff. Top notch really.- The food is quite tasty and different being a fusion restaurant. Your taste buds will definitely be pleased.- Currently they have an iftar set menu which just great.A highly recommend experience.

I loved the fusion food. Every dish is exquisite and awesome..I wouldnt have asked for a better place to have food. Even though the price is on the expensive side, but its worth it.

With the best desserts in the city, an array of timeless signature dishes and many new menu additions Tamba is always a great place to dine. Add in the fantastic service and stylish decor and its an all round winner.Add Tamba to your must-try list and dont let its mall location put you off - its fully licensed and has a good atmosphere. The Indian-inspired cuisine is top notch, make sure to leave room for dessert because they are all worth sampling but definitely try my favourite, the chocolaty deliciousness that is the Break-up.

Heavenly drinks and great appetisers that are served by the greatest serving team who know how to sell the food on the menu.The BREAK-UP dessert is one of their best sellers and i had a craving for it again as soon as I left the restaurants because its that good!!

Tamba as the name suggests is the metallic element Copper. The interior with large hanging bells and  antique metallic finishes justifies the name.It has both cozy indoor as well as open outdoor sitting arrangement as an option during winter.Basically Tamba comes under a high end fusion cuisine category tempting those who love to experiment variations with exotic food ingredients.We started with corn bhajia and tandoori mushrooms which did not disappoint us.In the main course, Okra kurkure with deep fried okra slivers topped on mix vegetables was a treat to the taste buds and smoked chicken in a curry base was a pleasant surprise.But what caught our attention were snails in garlic and malabar sambal.The items are slightly highly priced which is evident from the rich ambience and the natural food ingredients that go into the making.In view of its out of the world unconventional experimenting with food and high pricing structure it would become an occasional place to visit.By the way, it also has a well stocked bar serving liquors from various parts of the world.Service was at its best with close personal attention supplemented by a helping hand to suggest items to suit your taste and liking.TAMBA is a must visit place for those who love to explore, experiment, invent and enjoy.

Tamba and Incense smoke are a classic representation of Indian culture and traditions and reinterpreting them in fusion gastronomy is impressive. Tamba presents its many dishes with liquid nitrogen and the smoke coming out of it keep the understanding of Incense smoke intact as Tamba’s decorum.The fusion is the 21st-century idea of presenting the food. Famous Indian dishes are illustrated with contemporary style in Tamba. You can feel the winter-special fondue of Switzerland while eating Mumbai’s infamous Pav Bhaji as ‘black pav, bhaji fondue’; you can enjoy the Delhi’s butter chicken with a hint of Italy’s Burrata as ‘smoked chicken, tomato gravy, black pepper burrata’; and you can get romantic with your loved one as seating in Paris and eating the parfait with a feeling of sooji halwa as ‘mumtaz’. My wife and I were on an afternoon adventure exploring the all the nooks and crannies of the WTC Mall and our last stop was Tamba. We had been wanting to try this restaurant out but just never made it their. It was late afternoon when we stopped by. We slowly opened the door to see if their were open for customers, the place was void of customers. We were warmly greeted and asked if we wanted a table or to just sit at the bar. We opted for the bar. The decor and overall atmosphere for Tamba is sexy and chic. The colors are warm and alluring and I can imagine the they shimmer in the dimmed lighting and candle glow.We had a great server who quickly shared his knowledge of the menu and assisted us in selecting a couple of items. My description of the menu is Indian fusion. Many of the dishes are high end interpretations of Indian street foods. Check out the crazy video in the images below. The kitchen is opened to the dining area and all our dishes were served quickly. We had a basket of assorted naan... it was over the top versions of naan and each was quite different. We had a great afternoon and look forward to going back as the weather cools down to enjoy their rooftop seating. Tamba is definitely a restaurant for those fancy nights out and we cant wait for one of those again!

We tried this Culinary Journey (400 aed for two person excluding VAT and 10% Service Charge) for 13 different kinds of cuisine (SHARING). For me its 5/5 Stars, all was so delicious and its a good experience having these different types of food from starters to main course to sweets. Perfect.

Its located on the top floor of the World Trade Center mall.

Atmosphere and service what defines this place, excellent job.As far as the food goes, well lets just say i have tasted much better quality. The beryani had no taste, and the bread that came with our dish was no artificial. I think if they work on the ingredients, they will be one of the best restaurants in the capital.

When it comes to great food and celebrations, Tamba is often our first option and it rarely disappoints. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night. As we went ahead with the culinary journey, everything from the starter to the dessert... the quality, uniqueness and taste was outstanding, This culinary experience might have been one of the best meals I have ever been served. In fact, by the end of the meal we were planning our next visit.

Recently I visited this restaurant and received awesome experience! We planned a surprise birthday party and came out so beautiful and well organized by the super friendly staff over here. Especially to mention Mr. Raji who made us so comfortable with his welcoming attitude and very pleasant service. He made all efforts to make us feel good and was so happy that I chose this place for a memorable event like birthday. And the ambience was special too. Food was awesome and delicious with so many choices. I really want to say that the staff here is too good and they are dedicated in their customer service. Everything was perfect right from the Panipuris, Dahi Chats, Kothu Porotta, Salads, Kababs, Tiger Prawns, Rottis, Biriyani and finally the deserts. The staff was really attentive and they had great knowledge about each item they served and that made the experience better.The place is definitely worth its high rating n would recommend everyone to experience it..... Honestly I wouldve enjoyed my experience if the staff were smart enough to make us feel welcome :) .. in my reservation I chose ( outdoor seating ) & it wasnt mentioned in the website that the outdoor seatings arent available until 7 pm ! So I had to drive all the way just to enjoy my meal outside !! They said we cant let you sit outside (( although there was a another group sitting outside )) !! When I seemed angry they changed their mind and gave us a table..honestly I didnt enjoy this experience at all & I will definitely not bother to try it again just because of the quality of the service..

Had a great evening @Tamba with a continuous supply of superbly crafted and beautifully balanced Cocktails. Usually Fusion Cocktails tend to be overpoweringly flavoured with the concept elements but that was not the case here. The food is refreshingly innovative while being deliciously palatable. Some of the hinterland recipes have been well incorporated with new age concepts creating a visually pleasing platter. A very recommended experience. cheers.

Good service and food although a bit expensive

We have been to Tamba a few times hence we thought to try their business lunch a couple of weeks back.Frankly the whole experience was disappointing.The restaurant was quite empty and had a dreary atmosphere.Though the presentation was as usual top notch the portions were disappointingly small.Also by the time the thali was brought to the table the food had gone cold.Not to mention the dishes are overpriced otherwise also.Overall we felt let down and dont think we will be going to Tamba again.

Ive been to Tamba on 3 occasions now and while the food has not disappointed, I never really left feeling completely content because of the below experience/reasons:- While their staff are very nice and polite, be warned that they really do know how to sell stuff on the menu! We had gone during the happy hours and ordered one cocktail which I believe was priced at AED 25 but the waiter told us that if we ordered another cocktail we could get an appetiser with it. So we assumed it would cost us AED 50 for 2 cocktails with an appetizer...but turns out at the end we were billed AED 99 as the offer was actually 2 cocktails + an appetizer for AED 99. Had we known that this is a combo offer we would not have ordered the extra cocktail thinking that was all we needed to do if it meant we could get the appetizer.- For Diwali a few months ago, a friend called Tamba to make a reservation and while he specifically asked if they had any diwali special lunch options the team confirmed that they did but when we went there we were shown the culinary journey which is part of their regular offering. Yes they did get a sparkling candle and wished us Happy Diwali but this was not what we had in mind and what we had inquired about in the first place.- Lastly, I have always had an issue with their portions. At AED 112 you would expect the billionaire biryani to be sufficient for at least 3 people but we were told that it serves 2 and was surprised when it actually arrived because it really was sufficient for just one adult and maybe a child. Then again all their portions are small which is fine but if yourre in attendance with a bunch of heavy eaters get ready to order a lot more than you hoped for.So while I have no complaints regarding the quality of the food (which is actually very good) and while the ambience is unique (though for some people it might be too dark especially during evening hours), you might want to call or check and find out everything you need to know before you get there because otherwise you might leave with an underwhelming experience

The temperature is absolutely disgusting. It was so hot and loud we couldn’t think straight. Service was average and we ate our food quickly and left. If there’s an issue with air conditioning, then their doors shouldn’t be open. Definitely never going back.

One of my favorite fine dine places in Abu Dhabi. Food that tickles your taste buds, service that makes you feel royal and a warm ambiance. Food and their cocktails are both excellent. Went to the mall to see a movie and decided to eat something since I have like two hours to my movie time,Tamba was recommended by one of the mall security. Upon my arrival I love the welcoming smile from hostess, the interior design was wow decorated with series of awards. My waiter Raji served me with smiles explaining every dish politely and patiently. I recommend everyone to go and do try the Delhi mix and break dessert. Will surely be back

Had a lovely meal here! Randomly came across it and had no expectations. I was blown away by the ambience, amazing cocktails and delicious dishes. Hats off to the mixologist because the drinks were amazing with unique ingredients like chai or curry leaf to make it next level. The food was also bursting with flavour. We had the billionaire biryani with lobster, prawns and fish which was very good. The chicken tikka masala was also great. Can’t fault anything with the place.

Walked in on a Thursday evening with 3 friends and was able to get a table without a reservation. Found the menu a little limited however it was an interesting selection. Good drinks/wine offering. Settled for serveral portions of starters- Chicken 360, Calamari, Sliders rather than a main. Beautiful ambience, great service and good music (loud enough to enjoy & still have a conversation). Will recommend for couples & groups particularly if you are not looking for pure Indian..

The presentation of the food and how they serve it was nice but the taste wasn’t that good not what I’m expected. We order pieces of chicken with sauce as starter, the chicken wasn’t cooked well. The main course was lamb ran. The dishes were delicious the Delhi mix in the starter and desserts medley which is a big plate with mix selections of cakes and ice cream.

Great atmosphere and ambiance. The decor of the restaurant is absolutely amazing. Indian food here is Definitely 5 star. Bar and wait staff here is also stellar. The host even checked our bags from earlier shopping while we were dining. This is a excellent place.

They asked me and my friend to leave early because I didn’t have my ID with me and I don’t look like someone above 21. Sadly we didn’t enjoy our food.

We went to Tamba with good hope to have good taste and experience. Unfortunately, being a gourmet restaurant it was not at all to our expectations.First of all even though, we were seating indoor mosquito trouble was a shocking experience at such gourmet food restaurant! We being pure vegetarians had very limited options and choice in the menu! We took help from the restaurant staff to select our meal. It took a considerably long time to serve the food and finally quantity they served was enough to taste and not enough to enjoy. Finally, we felt that we had supper and not dinner. So we had to move to another option in WTC Food Court from such high profile restaurant. Later we took opinion from our friends and got a similar unsatisfied opinion from them too! being a gourmet restaurant neither the food nor the decor nor the quality was to our expectations.
