This Middle Eastern restaurant is located in the extravagant Emirates Palace hotel and serves Emirati food. The interior is minimalist design contrasting the Gold and flashy entrance of the hotel. I ordered camel tongue and it was delicious. Must try.

Specifically stopped by here to try the camel. The restaurant is located within Emirate Palace, which was a really beautiful place to look around. The palace reeked of opulence and extravagance which was very different from what Im used to.After getting to the restaurant with my booking, I was served doughnuts, dates and special coffee. The doughnuts were really amazing. I had the choice for inside or outdoor dining and opted to eat outside. The outdoor area had booths with very comfortable seats. After getting the menu I did feel like I was forgotten for a bit. Due to its location, it was hard to get anyones attention without having to leave the table. After getting to order, the item I wanted wasnt available so I ended with going with the other camel dish. I was also recommended the camel milk with dates. The camel milk was interesting. It didnt have a strong milk flavour but that could have been due to the dates. It was kinda hard to drink though since the date pieces kept getting stuck in the straw.I started with the veal harees, which was like a meat pate. The meat was spiced very delicately but the texture was a bit weird for me, almost gummy. It did go really well with the pita bread. The pita bread was delicious. I found the camel chop a bit dry. The vegetables that came with it were seasoned and cooked well.I had the angel hair and kashta for dessert. There was a pistachio and honey parfait on one side and angel hair filled with cream and topped with chocolate on the other. Both items were nice. The food was made well but it wasnt something that I would go for again, particularly due to the price. Service was really nice when they were there, but that could have been due to the time, as I arrived there quite late (2130). Overall it was an interesting experience.

This is a must visit on any trip to Abu Dhabi. The cabana style seating outside and the perfect flavors made every bite a treasure. The food was fantastic and I cant wait to return. The highlight of our experience was not only the perfect Emirati flavors but Noel our server who was so helpful and charming. We loved him! If you are wondering if you should book here, I promise this is one restaurant you dont want to miss.

Long time wanted to try this restaurant and finally we did. Happy we did in winter as it is lovely to sit outside in the cabana and look at the majestic palace from the side you cannot see as tourist. Their koobus bread is heavenly, couldn’t stop eating it, we could basically dine this bread only.... however the mezzeh and seafood platter is also awesome and service is on top par. And price is fair. Truly recommended.

We had an evening meal in the Mezlai within the Emirates Palace hotel and what an amazing place to have a meal. The food was very good if not all of it to our personal taste. The mixed grill was amazing!! The Lamb Threed cane with so much Raga bread that it spoilt it a little for the 2 people in our party who ate it. The desert angel hair was lovely. Don’t expect a cheap meal though but it is still worth the price tag just for the experience!!

Certainly one of the most pleasant dining experiences in Abu Dhabi. The food was very nice. Furthermore, having nice food and a bottle of cold beer on the terrace outside on a warm afternoon was an amazing experience. The service was very attentive and professional as well.

Went there after reading all the good reviews. Was not worth the price what we paid for the food, it was just below average. We found hair in our dish more than once and they still charged us for the food. We will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Only good thing was the service from the waiter. Very disappointed. Had high Hopes from this restaurant for the amount of money they charge.

A great place to try emirati food. The recommendations of our waiter Noel and service were outstanding. The doshes are worth tryong are camel tanour and the desert - Angel hair. For rice lovers I recommend biryahni with lamb or oyster. The price is justable, from my perspective: 540 AED for starter, main courses, wine, coffee and desert for 2 pers. The portions are huge, I recommend to go for a dinner, not eating a lunch this day.

Mezlai means in Emirati accent the door lock , the restaurant is located in the finest hotel in abudhabi (Emirates Palace) therefore no wonder when you see the food prices are so high , the restaurant serves Emirati traditional food in a modern way , food taste good specially the biryani , it worth a visit but the prices have to be reviewed because you can find same food exactly with lower prices , overall i like the stuff they are very welcoming and the restaurants atmosphere is nicely furnished as elegant traditional style , good experience, you will have the chance to discover some parts of the magnificent hotel ..

This is a restaurant with a mix of Arabic cuisines (Local UAE, Lebanese, and Moroccan). Chef Ali will make you feel home by providing whatever you like even if your request is not in the menu..The service is great. I was really impressed.I will definitely come back..Mazlay Restaurant is an Arabic cuisine that includes local Emirati, Lebanese and Moroccan dishes.Chef Ali is frankly at the top of humility and offers you what is on your mind even if it is not on the menu..The service is excellent and more than you can imagine..

Very good dish but incompetent waiters. Error in the dish, then when the right dish arrives it is spicy even though we had requested without spices and the old dish that we had already touched a little with the fork was directly given to the other table ... dessert offered in compensation but hey .... for the price we expect much better!

Immerse yourself in 1001 nights! A wonderfulRestaurant experience with traditional cuisine on an exclusive level. We had only traditional appetizers, including a kind of stuffed crepe and as a main course a traditional camel steak tried, all very good! To our surprise, camel meat tastes very much like a good beef steak. Fine dining in a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended!!!
