A yummy dinner! The picture of my seafood tower is half eaten, we were so excited to dig into it! We had a great evening, the waiter was such a great conversationalist. I probably wouldn’t recommend the seafood tower for just two people but it was delicious!

Had a fabulous Christmas Day lunch in 2019 which had a massive selection of different food and the drinks quality were very good.Would recommend for anyone wanting an upmarket steakhouse experience in Abu Dhabi

This was our first time visiting for dinner. I expected it to be like any other restaurant/bar. I must say, it was so much more. The look and music of the 40s took me to a different place and time. Food and drink were outstanding. Loved the staff. Thank you for such and amazing evening. *****💞

Booked for Eid lunch, what an amazing place and service, Luigi made our lunch an unforgettable one, I think he is one of the best waiters I’ve even met, very professional, well trained, obviously he has a worldwide experience and well informed, he made the best food recommendations for us and made sure to accommodate our needs and taste. The chef was very attentive to our request as well. Food is very tasty and you get great quality meet. Music is beautiful, we had a great time at Butcher & Still, definitely coming back.

I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to share a lovely experience at Four Seasons Butcher and Stills, service was top notch and service manager very attentive not just with us but many tables around ensuring guests were well looked after. Chefs in the kitchen were also amazing and served us a delicious steak cooked perfect! Thank you to all the kitchen, service and Rahul.

By far one of the BEST (if not the best) restaurant in AD! Everything was excellent! The food quality and portion but also the service! Steaks are amazing and cooked to perfection… seafood is fresh and tasty too! And the tower chocolat cake 😍🤤 … oh and the bread 😅…. Well everything!!

Great Restaurant. We ordered crab cake and Louis salad, for the main course we went for the DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER 🍔. The food is amazing, the service is outstanding (Thank you Rahul) and the ambiance is awesome, You even feel like you are in Chicago by listening to the wonderful music (Jazz).

Best steak house in Abu Dhabi if the price is not an issue. The ambiance and service are amazing with good quality ingredients. Their Boneless signature “filet mignon” & ribeye steaks are very tender and juicy. Their Crab cakes and Scallop in Shell are delicious.

We went here for our anniversary and were treated most excellently. Quick and painless reservations via the phone. Fast check in when we arrived. Premium seating and a very attentive waitress. She helped us make appetizer and dessert choices which were spot on.The food is pricey (hello you are at the Four Seasons) and the appetizer portions are a bit small. However the taste is off the charts good and the staff will do everything they can to enhance our experience.They wished us a happy anniversary, made sure to snap some pictures of us enjoying our time together and went out of the way to put on a show after we ordered a martini made on their imperial martini shaker.They even surprised us with a dessert topped with a champagne sparkler. We were so surprised we didnt get a picture so they did it again so we could.If you want the best steak of your life or just to enjoy being made to feel special I recommend a dinner reservation here.

Significantly overpriced but has great staff and some lovely views.Unfortunately when we were here it was not value for money. The Chicago steak was good but not worth what I paid for. The mash was good but not worth the price.However, staff were brilliant and friendly! Knew when to check on us and ask questions. The views were also scenic looking onto city.

We went to the Butcher & Still brunch back in April but things may have changed since.When we went, it was 495 AED (inc alcohol, there was *no* non-alcoholic pricing) and because of this hefty price tag, we only went because it was on the Entertainer for 2-4-1. I would like to state now that if it had not been on Entertainer, I would definitely *not* have gone for the brunch at Butcher & Still at this price as I am a non-drinker. I would recommend the Zaya Nurai Island Frangipani brunch instead because at a little bit more, Id get pool and beach access on a private island.THE BRUNCH FOOD AND DRINK:Appetisers: salads, cold meats, terrains, oysters - buffet styleMain: truffle bread, steak, ribs, sausages, duck, stuffed jacket potato, corn on a cob, with a broccoli side dish - served at the table on a large platterDessert: berry cobbler, cheesecake, cakes, creme brulee, pecan pie++ - buffet styleDrinks: make your own Bloody Mary and certain cocktails - self serve. Table service also available. If it had been served staggered (or even offered by the waiters as an option), I would have been able to appreciate the meat more.-the band gave life to the venue and that was awesome and even though they played 5-10mins at a time, during that time I could not hear my husband talk and I also couldn’t communicate properly with our waiter to order drinks. We were seated inside, in the middle.I dropped 2 stars for Butcher & Still purely because of the pricing model + the way the meat was served. At 500AED per person, the food needed to be on point. I hope this isnt too harsh!

Definitely yes, if you are a meat eater. We were two couple sitting at the terrace. Service is good. Food is excellent. We have had a black angus tartar - never had something so delicious. As for the main courses we have a three type of meats for all of us.Something indescribable so tasty it is! Bravo to the chief 👏👏👏 p.s. the dessert was incomparable.

Went there last night for my anniversary dinner. The place has a really nice ambience with good service. We were started off with a serving of truffle bread. And oh my world, that truffle bread, was beyond amazing! It came warm and with butter. French onion soup was great! The mains, however, were a tad disappointing. I think this is a place where appetizers trump the mains. Or maybe it was just me 🤷🏻‍♀️?All in all, we had a wonderful experience eating at this spot.

Went with family for the Friday brunch and from the moment we entered we where made feel pretty unwelcome, I think based upon we had Children.Our servers where not interested in serving us and three times we had to ask for information on the menu and how the brunch worked.30 mins later we finally got drinks, we where then presented with a Platter with the cheapest brand of Sirloin steaks. We were offered no further helpings of a any food while others around us seemed to be offered a beavy of products.Would certainly not recommend this venue to anyone with family or young children and the food was at best average for what we had. Ps no sauces served with Meat is a disgrace and again had to ask for sauce and that took ten mins.Staff had a bad attitude unless you where the hot girls who the guys seemed to have plenty of time to serve. 2 stars is generous

The Friday brunch was awesome! Food, service and atmosphere were all so perfect that i didnt want to leave! The food was so delicious that you really dont know what to start with!! I don know if it has to do with Thanksgiving but there was Turkey in the menu and it was really tasty! First time to like it! Well cooked to perfection!! The sweets were so tasty that you feel the sugar rush immediately!!! The service was top notch, they dont allow you tome to ask for anything, always around, always cheerful!!! I went for soft drinks package and it was a steal!! They even cared to help me identify the music that was running!! Solid 5 stars!!

Aug 2021Update on brunch: I feel a bit sad about my brunch experience.Course 1: There was nice stuff here, but it was all too much at once. The prawns and oysters was pretty good, the cold cuts meat platter was good, meatballs and mash potatoes was good, but it all arrived at once and that meant it overwhelmed the table.Course 2: A platter of steak (not their finest). A very strange combination of fried chicken on a pancake drenched in maple syrup... I wish the syrup was an optional additional because it was overwhelmingly not a great combination. Then a beef slider that was good and finally an absolutely gorgeous freshly made French toast with a banana syrup on top - wow that was great!! I wish it had ended there, but...Course 3: Then there was actually dessert and it was another miss. 3 slices of cake that were ok and an apple crumble that was too thinly layered into its skillet, it was almost watery instead of being nice and gooey.The drinks options were pretty good, though. No complaints there.In summary, I still love the place and the food that comes on the a la carte menu is fantastic, but I feel like the brunch missed the mark. Ive written this review in such detail because I really looked forward to this all week and I felt disappointed in the end.May 2021A la carte: The food is great. Its as good as people had told me.Nice selection of food and drinks.The service also matched the food including the general ambience.I highly recommend.

This has got to be one of the TOP places to get your food on in Abu Dhabi. The décor and ambience play a big part. The food? Just incredible. The portion sizes are well worth the value and the quality of the food is wayyy above almost every hotel steak place. It is so much more than just a place for steak. Everyone from the people who helped make our evening amazing ( Luigi was amazing! ), to Nebo who also elevated the dining experience, Maxwell who gave me a crash course in Japanese Whiskey, to Hussam (I hope I spelt his name correctly) who was on site managing that day. Dont even get me started on how good the bread is. I can personally say you will NOT find better tasting, freshly baked bread ANYWHERE. The service, the food, the people, the place as a whole will keep coming back, time and time again, and again, and again.PRO TIP: Try the bread. Its indescribable.

Good steak... Beware of the portions. They are so big, both main courses and deserts. So watch out.. You can share many dishes together.

Perfect dining experience.From reception till the end of our meal, we had a perfect dining experience. The truffle bread (compliments of the restaurant) was excellent and appetizing. Caesar salad to start with and it was very good, fresh lettuce and tasty sauce (rare to find a good, non-egg-tasting Caesar salad sauce).I ordered the filet medium-well because I do not like fats in the other steaks. It was perfectly cooked and it is the best steak I have ever eaten, and I am a meat lover. It was juicy and full flavor and the quality of the meat is the best Ive eaten. Truffle fries tasted perfect and so was the cheesy corn, and the portions of the two sides was plenty and great compliments to the perfect steak.Mocktails (second and third in the menu) were very good. The New York Cheesecake was perfect and does not take like cheese, rather more cream tasting. Service was top-notch and I think it is better than Zumas, but to be fair Zuma is always much busier. I havent had a great dinner like this for 7 months and I am so glad I came to this restaurant. But be warned, its quite a pricey place - around 500 per head.

Great quality food. The crab cake was an amazing surprise. Rib eye full of flavor a bit fatty but so juicy. They know how to cook their steak to perfection.

The food is average yet expensive.and the waitress boy who served us (I think he is Russian) was really incompetent 👎

We were met by maitre d who guided us to our table at the very corner of the restaurant. Despite the outdoor area being fully empty, we asked to be moved to a table further away, he hesitantly responds with all the tables are booked. I didnt understand his logic as we booked our table as well. We insisted and chose a table further away, he was still trying to discourage us by saying that the heaters arent working around this table. After asking another waiter to turn the heater on, it happens to work. That was a less than ideal introduction considering it was my first time visiting the restaurant and I have been wanting to try it for some time. Even after sitting for a few hours, the place never became full.The food was okay. The porterhouse steak we ordered was overcooked, the ribeye was the only steak that tasted alright.They also failed to write a message on the dessert we ordered despite calling them in advance and requesting this. All in all, quite a disappointing experience.

Nothing to say about the quality of the meat and how it was cooked (perfectly), but the price is really high, even for being in Abu Dhabi. We spent 1400 aed for one apetizer, two steaks (not Wagyu nor Kobe) and one dessert. I suggest to go there for Brunch, which sounds like a better deal.

Excellent service as the waiter was very friendly, steaks was so high grade. I wished they didn’t add butter to it as it’s already very fatty, avoid ordering oily side dishes as the steak is already very fatty.Their onion soup is so nice too, very nice desserts. The restaurant is in the Four season’s hotel. The vibe of the restaurant is so nice as it’s very classic.

We were very happy with our first experience here. We started with a crab cake that was all crab, and a very large caesar salad for two. We then had a fillet Oscar with crab meat and asparagus, also a fillet with half of a Maine lobster. All were presented well, and very tender fillet cooked medium.Dinner for two will be close to 2000 AED with wine and no dessert.

Got the Bone Marrow, Porterhouse steak, duck fat fries, crab Mac and cheese, along with 2 bottles of Kenwood. Delicious! Simply perfect ending with a 34 layer chocolate cake for our table. Atmosphere was on par with the food served. Had so much steak I almost had to go to the hospital, that was how amazing this was.

I loved the ambiance, seats setup and music in the restaurant; it was cheerful atmosphere. Staff are awesome in service, very helpful and keen to ensure customers satisfaction.We tried the lump crab cake; it was very good. For mains we tried veal ribs and lobster thermidor both were good but not the best compared to other diners. If we would visit again probably would try their steaks as they should be more specialized in steak.Desserts are good, just beware that the portion of dessert items is shareable.

Best steaks in Abu Dhabi, without a doubt. Also the most expensive steak in Abu Dhabi, without a doubt.While it is an occasional treat, I love this Prohibition styled speakeasy. The meat is fresh, the oysters too. And the bread - good lord the bread brings me deep and immeasurable pleasure. It could take the most ardent ascetic and throw them deep into the maw of hedonism.Great cocktails, an impressive cocktail program, and best in class service round all this out to make Butcher and Still the restaurant to beat in Abu Dhabi.

Top meat place. We had the dry aged steak and it was really good. We enjoyed our meal very much and the sides and the merlot we have chosen made our stay very pleasant.

The chef was amazing, that waitress was amazing the overall experience was amazing I will be returning back to this location within two days just to see was it real. I took my lady here for her birthday last night great place to visit if you are ever in Abu Dhabi

This steakhouse is a must if you visit Abu Dhabi. Without doubt some of the best steaks I have ever had. Marshall (the head chef) and his team are extremely welcoming and delivered great customer service. The atmosphere and 1920s decor adds to the overall experience. Make sure you check out the tiling in the toilets - brilliant....I cant wait to return.

One of the best meals I have ever eaten and the best steakhouse hands down. The steak is spectacular, the sides are beautifully done, and if you manage to leave room for desert the cherry pie will change your life. An absolute must try in Abu Dhabi. Cant say enough good things and will certainly be back many times.

This place one year was the best in terms of food, service & price. Today I got disappointed with the food quality has changed, it is still good not as good as before, the waiter has no knowledge about the menu, the price has increased almost 30%. Price is not an issue if the food quality was like a year ago, but for example the potato gratin quality was not fresh & different, I used to order cheeseburger with fois gras but the waiter said that they do not make it anymore. The steak came and nobody care to bring the sauces until I asked for it.

The food is good, but I was so disappointed when I ordered traffle fries and turned out to be traffle wedges. The chef needs to know the difference between wedges and fries & whoever wrote the menu.

Great place for meat lovers

Definitely not going Again...The meat was burnt from the outside, the sauce ( basic mushroom cream) was super watery, the best thing about the 539 AED meal was the mashed potatoes.... definitely worth not recommend.... lots of other stakeholders in town are waaaay better.... nothing extra ordinary about the service either.... didn’t make my birthday dinner special at all... not the food and not the ambiance!!!! 👎

I dine out quite frequently in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and I can say that the food, service levels, and atmosphere at Butcher & Still are unparalleled. Make an evening of your visit to this restaurant -- start with a drink in the lounge and then move onto a wonderful dinner. This is definitely the most unbelievable (WORST HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS) experiences I have seen at any restaurant. We dined at this restaurant tonight and our table faced the counter where the food is picked up from the kitchen. 3 children from a group that was sitting outside ran through the restaurant. These children sat at every empty table and touched all the dishes , glasses, and serving ware. One child was ill and coughed and sneezed at every table. The children then settled at the food pickup counter. While the waitstaff and cooks stood at the counter chatting with each other, the one child continued to cough and sneeze on every thing that was on the counter, including food, condiments etc. while the others touched all the dishes. I was so disgusted that the waitstaff did nothing. I had to get up to tell our waitress to please keep our food away from the children when it came out. Despite alerting her of this issue, they continued to let the children spread their disease. went back to our table and watched the children continue to contaminate the entire restaurant with god knows what virus they embodied. A cook finally came out and sent them to their table. The staff then removed the plates of food and cleaned the counter.When our food finally came to our table, the waitress commented that she kept our food from the children’s reach. However, I did notice that the bowls removed were the same bowls that held our spinach. Our spinach was sitting at the counter the whole time the children sprayed their infection. When we got our steaks that we ordered, neither were prepared as we ordered. Both were pink inside. I ordered well done, my husband medium well. We then ordered our food to go and chose to microwave the germs away inside our hotel suite.I cannot believe that this staff allowed kids that are inherently covered in germs to contaminate the entire restaurant while they stood around socializing with each other. I can’t believe these parents of these children took a sick child to a restaurant and allowed them to run around a restaurant. Butcher and Still should definitely be inspected and fined. They also need to educate their staff on food contamination and keeping children or anyone sick away from food and tables that they are serving. If sick children contaminating the entire restaurant and the meals served is ok to them, then I know that their are infinitely more lax rules at this place with food handling and storage.One of the reasons that I am so sensitive to witnessing the start of a pandemic food poisoning or a strep outbreak is because both my husband and I are American physicians. These days people are not even vaccinating their children, therefore these actions can be horribly deleterious to everyone who eats from the kitchen of Butcher and Still.We have stayed at Four Seasons hotels worldwide and this is totally not representative of the Four Seasons brand. The Four Seasons should really re-evaluate this restaurant and decide do they want to continue their partnership with such a low grade brand that employs such lazy and incompetent people. If I do develop food poisoning from these steaks, all the great memories and dependable relationship I have had with the Four Seasons will be ruined.
