Good for children to understand science better . Not too expensive. We had to wait for about 15 minutes as they had to control the crowd to maintain social distancing. Not many exhibits (some were not working) but we still enjoyed. We finished browsing within an hour an half as they have science shows at certain intervals.
It was a nice experience, not crowded at all.Only few families. They have multiple entertainment activities like Maths Magic, Documenty on Astronauts, science experiments secession. All the information is elaborated in Arabic and English. Except DocumentyIt was in English.Overall kids enjoyed alot for good 3 hours.

Sharjah has a good number of interesting museums which might not be known to Dubai residents. This is one of them and is a must visit for children. It has a number of games and activities which are aimed at explaining scientific laws and theories while entertaining the children: optical illusions, Ames Room, hot air 🎈balloons, forward motion, plasma, electricity generation and many others. You can spend a good 1-2 hours here and then end your visit with a hot or cold drink to the cafeteria. If you are driving 🚗 from outside Sharjah then I would recommend combining it with a lunch in one of Sharjahs restaurants/ malls as well visiting one of Sharjahs markets such as Gifts Market which has a wide variety of goods conveniently priced in the range of AED 1-20.
Loved it for the simplicity yet learning or even re-learning opportunity. Parents must make that effort to take the kids to this place as there are multiple practical learning opportunities for the kids. They must also try and re-learn the concepts so that they can use these in their lives as well as clarify doubts for the Children. This place will boost the confidence of visiting Students as they will be able to see practical application of the Tech/machines.
Very outdated. As 1/4 of museum is closed now due to Covid-measures, hardly worth a visit even though well maintained and inexpensive. Only for those who are interested to see how science museums looked like in the 90s.
Amazing place. I’m surprised it wasn’t busy. It’s not too big and not too small. Perfect for children. They have workshops (where they give the kids free booklets and gadgets to do visual tricks) CCA and shows. They have an amazing group of friendly staff that explain everything and show you mind games. There is a cafeteria but we didn’t try it. Entrance fees was very reasonable so definitely worth going to.Plus there is a small play area for the younger children who might not be interested in the science games which is extremely thoughtful.
Wonderful place for both kids and even adults, we had lots of fun, the staff is very froendly and would explain to the kids if they asked.Very clean, many scoentifoc games that mix science with fun and also scientific shows.Very highly recommended for a family day out!!
A good place for exploring more about different science facts.. would have been more interesting if the planetarium and the closed displays were functional as well..Suggestion to Add bit more experiences in the venue to make it a much awaited alternative for engaging the kids.
The experience was the same as when i went here 20 yrs back. I was hoping for some new attractions but there were none plus some of the exciting ones were closed too like the Solar system, the Shadow room and all the microscopes were roped off. There is always something new to learn in Science so its only apt that this place should also keep showing off the latest discoveries time to time.
This place is a hidden gem for the kids. It has ongoing workshops and seminars which kids can attend and also has a lot of ready experiments for teenagers and pre teens. Ideal for kids between 8 to 15.
Its a nice place for children to play and learn around, However, i think they need to sanitize more especially in peak season when people are touching and playing around the scientific things.

Excellent place for family and friends to spend. Kids and adults will enjoy it alike.
Plenty of science exhibitions and Kids would love to see them, awesome place to be. Entry is 10 AED for Adults and 5 AED for Kids. Compact size, . Ample Parking space. Have an cafeteria with moderately priced snacks. Have couple of shows every one hour in the evening. worth an visit and need three hours to complete them in full including shows. Good and friendly staffs. Awesome place to be.
Good for kids to enrol themselves at science knowledge...but if demonstrated kids will show more interest
Its a nice place to take kids preferably 10+ age groups for better understanding
Really really a wonderful place for young kids introduction and development on understanding of basic science......it reminds me the science center back in my native....
Its a great place to spend quality time with kids who are curious, you can easily spend 2-3 hours exploring and interacting with different interesting exhibits here. Although because of covid restrictions planetarium is not open to public but there is plenty to keep everyone busy.
Small but lots of stuff to explore and learn for kids and accompanying adults!
Nice experience......for children its amazing place to learn and understand
Good place for visit. Small area but you will enjoy more time here.. there are many exciting things you can do. Especially your kids enjoy here. Their excitement yiu can see from their rush from one place to other. Kids get crazy here because what they studied in class they can see and experience here. You will forget the time and every moment you enjoy
Love the place and lot of science activities for kids.
One of the best indoor activities that school students would love. It has many areas for them to experience. It is better to check on their website about opening/operating areas prior visit. However, the staff at the reception and counter were very welcoming and helpful in providing details including sections that are opened and closed. It wasnt suitable for children under 5yrs old as the staff inside the exhibition area doesnt like a child making noise with excitement or running. Thats the sad part!
Its amazing science museum with lots of kids experiment and activities. Love this place.
Ita open at the moment good for kids worth the ticket price
Good place for kids and familyMust visit here.
My son liked the car there . Its a small place but fun for kids . There is a science show , dont miss it. The 🎫 prices are economic , 5 AED for children and 10 AED for adults . The staff are very helpful .
Great place for kids to spend indoor time.
Good to visit once. Need to renew some of the stations. Deu to current covid-19 situation many stations closed
Exploring science has never been so much fun. The museum offers a distinctive entertainment experience for the whole family in a safe, motivational and educational atmosphere. Here, there’s something for everyone; visitors of all ages can engage in exciting interactive scientific experiments. You will really love this.
Highly informative.. Must visit place for scholling kidz
Its a smallish museum, but worth the price. Some of the activities are closed off due to covid. They have shows as well, such as a demonstration on electricity.
It is a nice wee museum with activities for kids. However, most likely due to covid, a lot of it was sectioned off. But it is still enough to kill an hour of your time. Prices are fair, 10 aed per adult and 5 aed per child. Plenty of learning opportunities for children.
Lovely little museum with activities for little explorers!
The Sharjah Science Museum is located in a picturesque area. The museum has ample parking, though it can get water-logged during rains. Entry rates are low, and concessional tickets are available for children and senior citizens. The interactive exhibits not only educate, they also entertain. I saw many visitors smiling or laughing. Even if you are not exactly a child, dont hesitate to visit this place.
Very good place to take your kids
My children love this place. The practical sessions are informative. Suggestions to add new exhibits & have the planetarium upgraded because its too blurry. Please also change the Astronaut movie we have seen it many times.
Nice and friendly staff and good and informative for kids
Amazing place in Sharjah to visit. Kids will definitely Enjoy but grown ups will be more surprised to see the experiments. We saw 4 different fabulous Shows. Thanks to Sharjah Government to put up and maintain those for visitors. we spent 4 1/2 hours but yet to see some of them. Definitely have to visit one more time.
Kids can enjoy science experiments.
Really enjoyed this... I use to go as a child and now I am taking my children... some parts are closed due to covid but still very nice
This museum was revelation for us. We found it by accident and we really like it. Inside are so many scientific experiments shown and explained. Its a worth visiting for families with kids of all ages. There is even a childrens playground if they get bored.
Still kids live it … but needs to add new attractions..
Cool museum for mainly kids. They have many activities in the exhibition hall, that are very entertaining for them. staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and show you many presentations on various things. Loved the planetarium! Do bring your children here.
The museum is ok, lots of fun stuff to do and see, although a couple of things were broken down. They have science shows which are also good. The museum is child oriented, but adults can have lots of fun too.
Fun with education. My kids really enjoyed it. Its small but worth it. 10 dirhams for adult and 5 dirhams for kids. Lot of scientific showcase as well there are 2-3 science workshops and thats really amazing. It is jot very popular because of non media coverage. But every one should visit there its really good.
Great place for whole family.. kids get to learn through experience many scientific concepts. It has many interesting and engaging exhibits and activities..there is also a small planetarium. Many interactive workshops are also held on weekends. Very friendly and helpful staff.
A fun way to quench the scientist inside you. They have good activities which can keep us and our kids occupied and learning at the same time.
The best museum in the UAE 🇦🇪 no doubt !!!
Kids had so much fun!!
Very economical only AED 5 for ages 2 to 13 and AED 10 for above 13. Good learning for kids, interactive displays, play area for toddlers and informative shows/presentations. Best part doesnt feel crowded went on friday around 5 and spent 2 hours. Small cafe, prayer room and washrooms available
It is a nice place for kids to live the adventure of science. Still, the museum needs to update its methods to attract the attention of contemporary children who like to know more about for instance, the power and wonders of computer systems and its role in our life which the museum clearly lacks.
Good place for little ones to explore. Some exhibits are closed due to Covid but a good experience.
A good place to take your kids. They have nice workshops , a small planetarium and a lecture. They must increase the number of workshops. Tickets for kids below 5 years should be free.
Excellent entertainment for kids where they could learn lots of science knowledge and explore many items... multiple show is available to present and make to understand us the science world... great to visit with kids and family...
Very nice place to visit specially for kids. Lots to learn from things kept there. Very nice experience trying all experiments also everything was nicely arranged.
Small but worth one visit. Just dont expect too much.
Exploring science has never been so much fun. Visit the museum with your children and family, and enjoy a wonderful experience in a safe, motivational and educational atmosphere. Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to experience enjoyable interactive scientific experiments.Sharjah Science Museum offers interactive presentations, designed to motivate visitors and encourage them to adopt innovation and creation. The museum includes more than 50 interactive exhibits and offers many attractive programs and interesting events for children.
It is good. But in pandemic playground and planetarium is closed
Most of the attraction are closed due to covid, 45min max to go through all
Limited artifacts, mostly for teenagers and above age group. I visited with my 7 and 5 years old sons but didnt find much exicitng things for their age. More artifacts and science innovations should be added for all ages.
Great place to learn the fundamentals of science, epically for kids. They have very knowledgeable staff that can explain scientific concepts. They hold workshops over the weekend which are fun.
My daughter attended a workshop this morning and she really enjoyed it. A fun and educational museum. There is also a gift shop and cafe and parking is free.
Must visit place in Sharjah for children as they will really learn the marvels of science and experience the wonders. The bubble show, planetarium, static electricity demonstration are very clear and allow our children to participate in their experiments which is quite thrilling and exciting. Adults are also allowed to resolve the puzzle which is breathtaking
Kids loved the place, It give them the chance to know how stuff works and whats inside us and also simple scientific experiments to widen there minds and ideas , highly recommend for kids 9 years and above.
This is one of Sharjahs best museums for children. It is more of an exhibits hall than a research center - but your kids aged 2 to 12 will find it fun. The staff people are kind to a fault, and they often hold special shows (think basic talks about lasers, the solar system and electricity). There is a basic cafe (featuring things like sausage rolls and juice boxes) and an inexpensive gift shop, too.
Really amazing museum for your kids to experience ... It has 2 departments one for the food dine & beside it a air bubble human size which you can definitely try 👍👍 and on the other side is more of the scientific stuff like .. human body , visual illusions , working of most physics and most importantly there is a special dark room in which they can display the so much discovered universe mostly planets & a few simple facts ! Atleast thats that I saw .
Simple loved it. Every piece of equipment is interactive. Adults and kids will equally love it. Can easily spend 3 hours over here. 10 or 15 dhs per person.
Informative....good fir children...
Very good exhibits, specially for kids aged 5-12. Simplified models and experiments makes it was to understand.Must visit.
A good place for kids, even for adults. It has a lot of exposure to new scientific concepts that happen in our life but we are not aware of.Enjoyed alot, good management.
Had a very good time. Kids enjoyed a lot. The cost of ticket is cheap and really worth going for kids. They get interested in science.
Great for learning all about SCIENCE and great fun and the laser show is besttt. U have to go there its the best time pass. Only aed 10 dhs entry fee. But it depends on age (adult, child, infant)gooo there
Very nice place to take the kids and discover along with the parents, is very clean, has many cience things that kids can play and learn, they have a round screen where they present some videos related to tge space, also they have other area where they present a cience experiment where kids can participate and learn. Highly recommended
