Our experience with them was positive at first, but it soon seemed to go downhill at a rapid pace. Once we arrived at our new residence, all the workers unpacked our belongings, and to our surprise we found many items damaged. They are neither professional movers nor professional transporters.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM1. One of our beds was chipped while unloading, and was not mentioned to us until we noticed it. Upon asking, one of the members replies by saying, ye toh pehle se tha now this is probably a cliche statement anyone worker would say to cover up, and no, this damage wasnt present earlier.2. Tower fan had deep scratches. 3 scratches on the display, and one on the top, right where the buttons to control the fan our located.3. Our brand new chair had wrinkles on it, due to heavy pressure applied while wrapping it. We informed them to not apply too much pressure while wrapping to ensure it has leeway to breathe several times, we didnt want to seem too bothersome as we thought they might be more experienced than us in the field.4. Dressing table also had a visible chip which wasnt present before, and mainly our movable kitchen rack used to store some veggies had been heavily damaged, there were two wheels remaining out of the four and it seemed as if they had been ripped off by a behemoth of some sorts.5. Washing machine had a minor scratch earlier. While they unwrapped in it in the apartment, we saw there were many heavy scratches on it.6. Theres a crack on the top of the shoe rack.7. The fridge door has stopped functioning properly.8. They broke a cupboard frame, stuck it with tape and hid it in the balcony. Did not have the courtesy to inform us about it.While few of the workers namely Shankar and Rajeev, had a positive mindset which I truly appreciate, the remaining few had some nerve to talk to us in a disrespectful manner.They stopped replying to emails nor their sales person, Thomas, picks calls. I expect a compensation for the loss/damage I have incurred.

We had recently shifted our residence within the emirates and had utilized the services of Safeway for the same. We found them to be very professional, punctual and sincere in their approach. They carried out the work in two days exactly to plan. In fact they also sent a couple of handymen the next week to finish some fixing work which could not be finished during shifting. Overall, we are very happy and satisfied about the quality of work from Safeway and would not hesitate to recommend their services to others. You get what you pay for - affordable movers and Sandra was very helpful with the booking. They are good at what they do and bring the necessary materials to ensure none of your precious items get damaged. However, I did face some issues, they seem to be a little impatient and uncoordinated when it comes to unpacking. I had 3 trucks and about 9-10 workers. Majority of the stuff they did was right but they ended up packing some stuff that I didn’t ask them to pack which added confusion and inconvenience on an already busy day. I asked them to drill the curtain rods before unpacking any furniture and they simply did not follow that instruction. They also ended up drilling some things in my new apartment that I did not need. One of their trucks decided to leave in the midst of unpacking and so they ended up using some of our stuff during unpacking. This part seemed a little unprofessional to me. However, I still gave them 4 stars because in the end all of my belongings were intact and nothing broke in the process. Overall good service but there is still room for improvement.

We have used the company on 2 separate occasions for full house removals in Dubai and both times they have been professional, courteous, efficient and very well priced. They arrive on time and are very quick to pack and move the furniture. There were no breakages at all and when we got to the new house, the guys all knew which room the furniture had to go in. They unpacked all items and put away for us where needed. I used Safeway to shift apartments. The crew was very large for a small 1 bedroom apartment. They arrived exactly on time and divided the house for packing very efficiently.Delicate items were protected very thoroughly and they took great care of all my electronics as well.Once in the new house they installed curtains, wall mounts, paintings and shelves in a very professional manner.The whole process took less than 6 hours, from packaging to mounting everything in the new apartment.I can’t recommend them enough! First of all my goods were delivered after FOUR months (originally I was told about 8 to 10 weeks) and the communication from their side was vague in the meantime. When contacted to finally arrange delivery I was told the goods would have been delivered with an 18 meter truck (which does not fit in the street were I live) so we agreed a different delivery address. Guess what: they turned up with a small van...Cannot recommend them.

Ive moved from Dubai to France with this company.I first selected them for the price and then liked their flexibility of dates and quality of packing. The great surprise came from the quality of company they work with in France.I recommend this company but make sure to control that the Dubai team loads all your boxes. Despite my many requests to bring downstairs all boxes and keep them gathered, they refused telling me not to worry. It ended-up with one box being left in Dubai. My brother present that day trusted the team and didnt control after them (his mistake).When I contacted the Dubai team, they asked to charge for this as being my mistake of not checking

We didnt have the greatest experience with Safeway movers unfortunately. What was said at the time of the survey was not fulfilled. They didnt remove the boxes, unpack all goods for did the reassemble items. Calls were made to the office to ask where a couple of missing items were and 2 weeks later no one has bothered to call back. Would not recommend 😕

Safeway was excellent in moving my household stuff from Dubai & transport it to India (BLR) without any damages. The packing team was very professional & Mr. Shaji did everything that he promised from his Admin side to coordinate till the items were delivered.

Ive used their service initially for House shifting inside UAE three times, the service was extremely good and the cost was reasonable. Based on this experience I used their service for moving the house stuffs to India which turns out to me as well below the customer expectations from below concerns.The density packing to save packing space was not really density packing its packing, if you are good in packing do it from your own.The entire Cargo took just above two months to deliver at the destination, and the worst thing is the shipment started from the origin after a month as they use shared services from external parties.A third party company was assigned in India( multi mode movers Chennai), they will also charge you a good amount as duty paid but no original payment receipts yet for that. The chennai agent send a huge container truck which was delivering for multiple people in Kerala has big time issues to reach the small roads. ridiculous service as you have to run behind each of these issues.Safeway seems to be passive once after I paid their charges, they responded to my Emails and calls but there was no proactive support to ensure that the the Cargo is reaching to your destination safely. As a whole, its a quite disappointing service for me for the international cargo. But the packing quality was good, especially good packing for the LED TVs.

They started with good packing on big items but rushed with small items and not handled items properly.Unpacking was worst as they were rushing so much to finish their own defined timeline I wasnt aware of.Charged same amount as survey though one room set wasnt removed and price was negotiated but mentioned based on number of crew used in which case shouldnt have rushed to mix things and even unpacking was more chaotic, took much longer time for us do lot of placing.

Professional, were quick in packing and loading, assembling furniture, curtain fixing etc. However the mats used for wrapping were not that clean and couple of workers were too careless.

We used Safeway 2 years ago moving from the Marina to a Villa. They were great then and are great now. Very obliging workmen and courteous. They worked fast and carefully. Not one item was broken or damaged. I would highly recommend Safeway to anyone considering moving. Their prices are highly, highly competitive.

I have requested Handyman service during move in, they send the guys who are not being able to hang chandeliers or even to install my dishwasher. Even the washing machine they were not able to install it. The quotation was already including this service. So better not to use this service from them and get experts who can do the job.Update: that’s your problem that u didn’t ask about how many lights( I requested the job to be done and paid for that). Even if u don’t have experts to do that then don’t commit. That was a mistake of ur survey guy not the me( btw they are 7 not 12 as you are claiming ) Really ur comment won’t change my rating. That’s the fair rating for the service I got.

We have booked our shipment to canada with safeway in March 2020 and the agent was Hussain.After taking the confirmation from Mr Hussain that they will not dispatching the stock to Canada without our concern as due to covid all the visa was on hold.But Mr Hussain dispatched our shipment and blammed us that we have approved him to dispatch the shipment.Now we are in UAE and our laggauge in ship.This kind of unprofessional company should not be given licenses to operate and play with our hard earned money.

Wonderful experience with them. Did the whole dismantling and then assembling of furniture + my huge fridge nicely.Even though the final trucks count exceeded their estimated nos. but still they did the whole job in same price and without a grin.Even the new bldg where i moved in, the bldg incharge was also appreciating the guys that how little noise (if any) they made when moving my stuff in.
