There are picnic spots aplenty around the dam, and those willing to explore further will find the best ones. The highlight is the herds of friendly camels who add a touch of excitement to an otherwise typical setting. There isnt much cover and the place is only worth visiting in the cooler months.

Very easy hike but with nice scenery. There is a big parking space, but no services around. The hike takes around 3 hours if you stop to take pictures and have a snack. Recommended for beginners

Nice place for trekking barbecue ,overnight stay and away from city calm and cool place for family. No toilet facilities , on your own.

Lots of mtb trails and hikes start from there. Good central location.

U need to come on winter when there is water , at summer is not that good , plus its a biking zone , so u can have that all the time

Just pass by when coming from RAK. Thought the dam has water but very nice place to stay in the afternoon. You know, time pass..
