It is one of the best places that makes pizzas 🍕 they make all kind, the size of the pizza is so great, and thats the regular one. If you ordered the big one, it will be a 1kg pizza size. They also do grills and salads 🥗 taste is amazing 👏 absolutely will visit this place again,

Nicely decorated restaurant, Italian/American cuisine, fresh ingredients, well prepared and nicely presented dishes. Four stars because we had to add salt to most of what we ordered 😑. Would go again though if I’m in RAK.

Fabulous meal, by far the best calamari Ive had in the U.A.E. in the three years weve lived here. Mussels were phenomenal as well. We had a variety of things and not one complaint. Service was spot-on. We will miss this place. (We are heading back to the States. 😞)

Good and above average Italian food and service, with plenty of selection of Italian and grill dishes. They used fresh ingredients on the Italians dishes we ordered, and seems they emphasized on it. It could be made tastier for my taste. The venue itself is spacious quirky-cool decorated, and comfortable for big groups for families with children. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area. We ordered a lot and havent gotten to the dessert yet, maybe next time.Being a vegan, my favorite is the eggplant parmagianna. Superb!Service is average with friendly greetings. See you on our next visit.

Excellent food and service! Probably the best pizza I have ever had! The portions were huge, we didnt get to finish it. The selection of juices is good. We ordered mango and lemon and mint, both of which were amazing. It was slightly pricier than what in used to. For us the location was great and no parking issues.The decor is awesome! Very warm, friendly and unique! See the pictures in my review.Would definitely recommend and try to come back if Im in town.

I love this restaurant as its a real Italian restaurant and the owner Italian as well.But the pizza wasnt very good it was perfect before but this time not what i remembered.But still good to visit and the pasta,burger is delicious.But be careful the quantity is big.What i love is good quality and not overpriced

What a great surprise eating at Thunder Road Pizza was during our recent trip to the Ras Al Khamiah area. Previously, we had attempted to road delivery from this restaurant but were too far out of their delivery area.On this trip we ended up being only a few minutes away and instead of ordering delivery we would just check the place out in person. Once arriving we were glad we did! The inside is bright and airing with so much to absorb. Route 66, motorcycle, 50s, paraphenalia and memorabilia decorate the walls and tables making this restaurant feel like a 50s cross between a ice cream stand and hamburger joint. There is even a classic mint-conditioned Harley in the dining area. All the staff were very happy and friendly and were quick to take care of us upon entering.The menu has something for everyone - Italian favorites like pizza and calzones, to hamburgers and steaks, all types of salads, and side dishes to jont your other choices. Make sure to leave room for Grandmas Apple Pie! For our meal we had the Parmigiana Starter, the Calzone, and two burgers, the Road Burger and the Smoky Thunder. All items were served quickly and piping hot. The fries were perfect! The only item which was lacking was the Calzone. It was under-cooked and still quite doughy. Everything else was spot on. We look forward to our next trip to RAK and another night out at Thunder Road Pizza & Grill.

Food is qmazing, Florence pizza though was not that great, it was doughy/their pasta is one of the best pasta I have ever tried. Service was pretty good and atmosphere was very pleasant. I would go back there again without a 2nd thought 🤤

We have visited this place for lunch. The restaurant has Italian cuisine. The interior design is all American concept. We have ordered pasta. The portions were huge. As for the taste... Delicious. It has a fair value for the prices displayed in the menu. Everything was great and nice.

Its a great Italian restaurant. The price is very reasonable compared to food quality and portions. Food quality is like that in luxury restaurants of dubai with cheaper price. Highly recommend if you pass by Rak and wanna try Italian food. The decor is also very interesting with Biker theme

Delicious pizza. The regular size i quite large which is good but its more a warning that 2 large size pizzas to share for two persons is definitely too much.

A pleasant surprise. Their bread, both for dishes and pizza crusts is incredible. Portions are huge, yet well balanced. For instance, their seafood pasta had enough seafood to accompany the pasta.

If you are lucky you will get great food. No standard at all sometimes excellent and everything cooked properly and some times tasteless pastas and soggy pizza. Nice atmosphere and the service is good.

We have been twice in three weeks. The first time we were there we were brought warm bread with oil and vinegar. Great start. I ordered sirloin steak, medium, with fries. My wife ordered the beef rib. She said the rib was okay and the potatoes that came with it were nice. My steak was past medium into well done territory. No pink at all. Also it was cut up. This allows the juice in the steak to leave. So it was dry also. We went back for the pizza, as a lot of people raved about it. My wife had mushroom, I had hawaiin. The mushrooms were spread out, and so few that she had bites without mushrooms in them. My pizza was just okay. A little oregano or other seasoning on top would have helped. Both of our pizzas had a little lake in the middle. Pineapple and mushrooms have a lot of water in them and it made the middle of the pizza wet. Not good.

The restaurant seems to be ‘almost there to being perfect’ if I’m being honest, just a note; you might want to consider changing something with the cheese maybe because it kept falling easily otherwise the pizza is fine. Hope to come back again soon.

Was expecting authentic Italian pizza. Received freshly made dough but the cheese tasted and smelt funky and kept falling off the dough. The pepperoni had a defrosted taste as well. But the menu had lots to offer.

Very good food and affordable prices

Okay so the first time we came here in september 2020, the owners were around (cute italian couple) and the food was one of the best we had ever tasted, better than any we had tried in dubai even. Sadly it was not the case today when we went to thunder road. We had even told our friends it was amazing but it was sooo sooo bad that we were embarassed and apologised to them also for taking them there. We specifically come from dubai to RAK for their ribs and pasta but both were pathetic today. Even the pizza made us nauseous. The pasta sauce didnt taste fresh, the pizza dough was hard as cement and the ribs were dry from the top. Dont think we will ever come back or recommend this place to anyone after todays embarrassing experience. Even though we asked the man at the reception to make fresh and juicy ribs for us he already had excuses for us like that depends on suppliers etc 😂 (indiciating that the food will not be good so dont expect much👀) We are v disappointed, if the owners are reading this please pull things up else you will end up having to close this place that was once a gem.

Having lived in Rome for 10 years we have to say this was the best pizza that we have had in the UAE. We ordered the burrata cheese plate, pizza for a family of four, and of course dessert! We were impressed with the customer service, ambiance, and quality of food. This restaurant is authentic!

Simply the best italian food in the UAE. Dont let this small place fool you, its got some of the best italian dishes ive tried. I love their burrata cheese salad (so fresh and they stretch it right in front of you) and their pastas. Their pizzas are good too and ive had their road burger and it did not disappoint.

This is by far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Rak! The food portions are really big and absolutely delicious...Highly recommended!

Went here as people have reviewed it as the best pizza in UAE. Sadly our pizza was soggy. The mushrooms on our pizza had leaked water and had formed a puddle. The waiter lightly brushed it off saying the fresh mozzarella was a bit wet but we were later given dessert on the house. If youre ordering a pizza Id suggest not to get it with vegis and maybe ask for less cheese on the pizza to prevent over crowding. Maybe their pizza is actually good.

What a tasty coincidence! Saw the restaurant as I was driving through the traffic and thought Ill stop and see what they serve. The menu looked great and thought I can give it a shot and oh my I am glad that I stoped by. The restaurant is run by a very friendly and kind Italian family, food is on point. We tried their pizzas, burger and steak and they were all yummy. Totally would recommend this restaurant and its family friendly as well.

We got the big wheel pizza which was huge!The fettuccine alfredo is a must order absolutely amazing but the Bolognese was rather bland and tasted of nothing.

We ordered Arrabbiata Penne , Meatball spaghetti and Focaccia (best seller). Great taste and cooked as it shall be. Price Quality value is absolutely good. If you look after Italian food, you are right here. Hope those businesses keep delivering this quality and I’m sure this one will. Arrivederci Ragazzi

The next time i feel like having Italian food, I will drive from Dubai to RAK to eat here - yes it is that good! We had the bresaola, arrabiata fettuccini, mushroom risotto, buffalini pizza and Gran’ma pie, just to sample the different categories of food. All of them rank at the top of my list of ‘good food places’. Will be back to try the burrata, steak, carbonara and pesto next.

Great restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Amazing food prepared by Italian chef.Service definitely need improvement. We have requested bread 4 times and we got none at the end. Some of us had to beg for plates and glasses.I really hope to improve the service to be on the top.
