Fabulous decorations and services food amazing but only shrimp toast was so oily and coco curry noodles I dont like

The ambiance is good. But the serving amount of food is much little for the money you pay.

One of the best sushi houses in Rak , sushi is really tasty and also aesthetically appealing, the restaurant itself is very cozy , the only downside is its prices , but overall would recommend it to everyone

I used to love this place but not anymore. The professionalism in taking orders have reached to the minimum possible level! Also, they take forever to prepare orders. Today’s experience was really hilarious, asked for 2 sushi dishes (take away) and suddenly (sir, it will takes 30 mins to prepare your order?!). I don’t want waste my time in describing how bad the service is but look my dears, we as customers have been to many other high end sushi restaurants and to be more specify ‘fine dinning’ restaurants at times where all tables are full + long queue outside, have not seen just once a waiter says look your order (very small one) will not finish before 30 minutes, that’s impossible! :) why? We are so busy now! Speechless.

My wife and I are a Sushi lovers, so its not easy to impress us, but we were really impressed.Excellent foodFriendly staff

My go to Sushi Place in Ras Al-Khaimah 🍣🥢 They’ve got great options and variety in their menu. Unfortunately, I gave it 3 stars for what happened yesterday, I ordered 1 California roll and usually it takes 10 min to be ready, this time no one came out until after 40 mins and no one was picking up the phone. The waiter told me that my order was ready long time ago but no one brought it outside 🙂, I wasn’t satisfied at all.

Outstanding food but!!!! One of the employees had a very bad facial expression his name was (Raj) and he did not took us seriously because when we called him he ignored us twice. Hopefully I don’t see this attitude again because if so I WONT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN.

The food isnt something that would blow your mind or anything, its subpar sushi and generally nothing special, just a typical a lot of mayonnaise sushi dishes.However, the places atmosphere is incredibly unique and very comfy, I particularly love the floor seatings in places because they make me feel more homely, if the floor seatings were better enclosed it wouldve been better but eh.The wagyu beef sticks were marinated in very sodium filled soy sauce, it was painful to eat.

Fantastic presentation for take out. Raw fish was not very fresh on a hot summer night. Ramen was good

I guess this is the only authentic Japanese cusine Restaurent in Ras Al kahaimah,UAE.The place itself is small but neatly arranged and well maintained.There was a even a tree inside this restaurant that resembles the trees seen in some Asian movies.Food is average and pricing is on the higher side.The presentation of each dish is authentic and really stand out from ordinary food joints.Definitely worth a try if you are into sushi,sashmi stuff etc.

We were looking for a Japanese restaurant in RAK for a while, found very few and Monto was seemed good based on reviews. My husband took me there for dinner, unfortunately this was the first and last time.When asked for recommendations, the waitress just read from the menu things I could read myself, no initiative or experience sharing, when we ordered, 1 item was served and then we were waiting. There was no wasabi, no ginger and no one was checking why we were no eating, no one showed up until we called the gentlemen who suddenly appeared. When asked, he was the manager. I told him that we would like to eat together and also we can’t eat when the dish is not complete as should t be served at the first place. He apologized and said that the accompaniments & rest of the food will be there shortly.Waitress was serving ( taking orders ) other customers, who just arrived.We still had to wait, even the manager did not bring the sides that we could start eating.When the complete order was served, there was wasabi ( no issues ) but the ginger was super small portion and it was all dried up on the edges like it was sitting in the counter or somewhere for a long time.We ordered different sushis. Sushi rice was overcooked, mushy and not fresh or appeared that way. Very very disappointing taste and experience. We both traveled to Japan several times and we know how sushi should taste. That said, there are many restaurants with very tasty and high quality sushi in the UAE. Monto is sadly NOT one of them.Customer service was average, not much attention paid to customers concerns and restaurant wasn’t even full at that time.Feedback was shared at the restaurant.

Food is alright, must try Japanese Karak Ice tea

The ambiance and the service was really good, I also enjoyed the Music but the restaurant was a bit warm. Now talking about the food, I honestly didnt enjoy it, despite trying multiple dishes. The kinoko gohan Mushroom rice tasted like italian risotto! The spices they use made the dishes Japanese soulless. I honestly expecting and authentic Japanese experience, but I didnt. Restaurant was packed.

It was an experience that we will never forget. It was a surprise birthday for my special one and they able to arrange what i’ve requested in a short notice.

Great restaurant! Love the ambience and the staff are so friendly! The food was soo delicious especially the dynamite shrimps, Singapore fried rice, fried calamari!! Will definitely come again when I visit RAK!

We are happen to be in RAK and craving for sushi and found this little gem. It is by far the best sushi from a small restaurant that I have tried in the UAE because the ingredients especially the fish are so fresh. The bento chicken katsu curry is also good. The packaging is beautiful. We were so hungry and didnt even take pictures.

After 70 min they completed the order

Very fast service, food was great and worth the buck. They just need to fix those flickering lights though but overall had a good time.

The place has a nice ambience. The Sakura tree is a nice touch to the interior.The sushi is alright, flavor wise nothing special, but good enough to enjoy it still.Price wise very fair as well.Staff is very courteous. Albeit a bit to fast when serving dishes. The starter wasnt halfway finished when the main courses were brought to the table.All in all a reasonable experience.

Omg their champagne!!A Must try!! Its non alcoholic.the sushi is good also the noodles if one of the best,fried rice, calamari appetizer is very tasty however the katsu curry is not good! But overall their food is tasty. The place small I whish if they can expand it or open another branch in other cities.

Favorite by local Arabs in the area, nice ambiance and inside is instagramable, a bit costly compare to original Dubai Japanese restaurant provided that location is not at the high end place. I like their tempura and japanese ice karak.

Small place, nice concept . They have IPad to place orders . They don’t have Miso soup which is very strange . The Food looks nice in the pictures. IWas looking forward to try as I read positive reviews However it never happened due to some observations on food handling I left the place disappointed .

Nice ambiance inside the restaurant located in the old market near the corniche of RAK.Surprised that the food was tasty and cheap with a good amount of serving...The staff was also very accommodating..A new place again on my options for regular dinning..All the food and drinks we ordered are all 👌We had satisfied tastebuds and happy tummies..
