One of the best new year fire works in UAE and no other place to watch it for free, open to public, this location provides the best viewing experience and with live music and other activities. Ample parking spaces and plenty of volanteers to guide. temporary toilets are provided, that too in large numbers.The organasing committe deserves all the credits and it worth the guinness records.Really great effort RAK.

Last few months we started exploring the beauty of Ras Al khaimah and enjoyed few beaches, wadis and breath taking jebel jais zipline which is really amazing. Yesterday we thought of visiting a natural, stunning Island in Rak. We mesmerized with the beauty of island and the clean beach. One of the best memory we had yesterday was the hospitality provided by one of the Emirati Mr. Hamad residing in Ras Al Khaimah. In India we respect all guest and treat them as athithi devo bhav meaning guest as god. We felt the same feeling when we entered beach at Al Rams island yesterday when Mr Hamad provided us the best of best service from his heart without knowing anything about us. He provided us his tent to use for full day inspite he had his guest arrived late afternoon. He ensured we will not have any issues therefore he stayed outside in the sand and allowed us to do our barbecue. He also opened his cabin toilet for our friends to ensure all of us are comfortable and not to worry anything in the island. He was so down to earth and humble we were speechless. At the end while returning our car we had issues, he and his friends personally helped to move one of our car and also drove almost 20 min with us so we can cross the bridge safely. After 30 min again he called to ensure we were safe. All my family members just stunned and really had goose pumps after feeling the heart felt hospitality by an Emirati Mr. Hamad. He made our trip remarkable and memorable. We are sure that RAK TOURISM will achieve their dreams and vision if they have Emirati like Mr. Hamad. Thanks a lot once again Mr Hamad for all your hospitality and big heart, we are really touched. May Allah bless you and your loved once.

In a last few months we have been visiting RAK regularly....we were really thankful for all the hospitality ..... Our last visit couple of days back was a memorable one.. Mr Hamad who went out of the way to help us when our car had some problem, we are so grateful to him.As mentioned by Shashi Shetty’s post even I was the part of the group......
