Really good budget friendly activity to do for people of all ages.Many good photography options. Fountain light shows primarily occur in the evening and social distancing isnt just encouraged but keenly enforced.Only irritating part of the Promenade isnt the crowds in the evening, especially on weekends but the aggressiveness and impoliteness of the security personel, especially towards locals or certain Nationalities.Best option is to have dinner at one of the restaurants on the Promenade or overlooking the Promenade for extensive viewing. Even stores like Nike and Apple have a great view.

Its always refreshing to see the Dubai Fountain...we dont miss any opportunity, while visiting Dubai Mall....interestingly every show fountain has a new music and choreography, its really amazing....

Nice place to relax and view the show. There are shows from 6pm to midnight. ( much like the Bellagio in Vegas) Plenty of resturants and the mall is right there if you want to wander through. You can enter the waterside from the mall or from the square next to the opera house... best to arrive early if you want a front row... and best of all it is free!

Unforgettable experience. I love this place, every time it’s like the first time. The show can be watched every half hour. Make sure come a little bit earlier to take your seat, because due to the new restrictions, it is necessary to keep a distance, so not everyone have a chance to see this beauty.

I loved it here! The view was truly impeccable, and the water was extremely clean. We were eating out for dinner, and when walking to the hotel room we went through the gorgeous Dubai Fountain. I did not like the amount of construction there, because it delayed us from getting to the hotel in the heat. I really enjoyed it here, and would come again. Burj park was also nice.

What a lovely view in night time. This is the most beautiful view you will see here around Dubai Mall as the fountain is amazing and the way rhythm happens with each different tune/song.I loved it and its amazing.

A spectacular display of waterworks best viewed from an elevated location. Ground level view is hard to take it all in. Its even more spectacular at night.

If you get chance, stay and watch a few different ones. Theyre every 30 minutes and a different song/routine each time.Well worth a visit.I find the place just outside the dubai malls souk market to be a good place to watch as the Burge Khalifa is in the background and you get good views of the fountains. Also it tends to be a bit quieter that side.

If you are in Dubai, visit fountain show (I think Its everyday show every 30 mins starts from 7pm). Definitely you are not gonna regret about 3 mins or so show for free.I would recommend to come 15 mins earlier to get better place in the first row.

A must visit place if you are in Dubai, the Dubai fountain.. the fountain is well choreographed and functions in sync to the music... a massive fountain runs for about 40 mins of water piercing up to 140m high... pleasure to the eyes watching the fountain show to a wonderful music and the colorful lights in sync.. without a doubt, a must visit place for everyone.. I would highly recommend visiting this place.. and you will not complain about it at all..

If you come to Dubai you have to see the Dubai Fountains. You can see it 100 times, but every time they give you another emotion. During my vacation every time I was seeing the show I was fascinated.

I absolutely loved watching this show, it’s just outside the mall and runs every 30 mins after 6pm. My advise is to come early so u can get to be in front as the crowd wanting to watch is massive and it’s a bit daunting getting clear videos from afar... loved love it

I cant describe the beauty of this place, it has to be seen. The evening is most impressive because everything is in light and the fountain every 30 minutes after 6 p.m. is released in all its glory.

This was truly an unforgettable experience with exemplary view of fountains dancing in the rhythm of music alongwith lightings on Burj khalifa beside it.Can watch the show in every half an hour but recommend to come early so you get the proper place to watch from.

Too much policing I guess because of covid you have to stand in squares but you can enjoy if you are far back..I would suggest eating at one of the places in the mall with outside seating to sit and enjoy!

Very nice place.. clean and tidy. Awesome place to spend half day roaming in mall and evening fountain show.

The fountain is a larger one than in Las Vegas at the Bellagio and they certainly use it to the full extent. All the shows were incredible and the music works extremely well with the dancing water. The only issue is that with Covid, they are not allowing visitors to the rail next to the water to view the show. There are specific boxes you have stand-in and it is pretty far back from the show.

The fountains are really nice when they are working the issue is that with the covid restrictions that they have most people do not get to have a nice view of them as they have limited the area to view the fountains and it is from a distance. You are most likely to have a good view from a restaurant overlooking the fountains.

There’s not much a person can complain about. It’s free, it’s huge, and it’s eye catching. Shows start at 6pm and are 30 mins thereafter.

Great attraction. The pictures were taken from the Burj Khalifa. Bigger than the fountain in Vegas and well synchronized to whichever song it’s playing.

A very nice and calm place to restore our energy, especially on weekdays. It is very quiet and suitable to visit. I highly recommend visiting the place.

Nicely engineered water fountain inside Dubai mall. Its a mood booster watching the foundation and music, we went during evening. Can walk around and take nice pictures, Emaar built this place well thought out and with some expert craftsmanship. The place was not that crowded when we visited. Enough parking is available but will take a little time to park taking into account the size and busy nature of the place. Atm and all major shops available inside. Take a picture of parking location details and try to remember the route where you came in, this will make it easy when you leave. Music and foundation happened at rough twenty minute intervals with different language songs. A good experience overall.Dubai is a lovely place.

Best Place to Visit at Night!

We very often go this point, but during the pandemic we are went first time their and get surprised. I highly appreciated Emaar and Dubai Mall entire time for managing huge flock in very safe and perfect 👍 manners.We walked more then normal but site was safe and well organized.Thanks guys to care your visitors as a family.Keep it up 👍👏May Allah blessed you all and protect you as well.

Went there during day time (10 am) for a walk in the good weather and absolutely loved the calm. They have some nice background music playing all the time. Water is super clean. And you can stand / sit there for a while to relax. Benches now have the social distancing stickers, which helps.

We had the opportunity to see and hear two songs that I believe the Arabic song did not have the necessary harmony with the fountain dance.

UAE Nov - December 2020This is an interesting dancing fountain located in Dubai Mall on the ground floor below the Apple store.I am a solo traveler from Pakistan ( Karachi ) and like to take pictures and videos for reference purposes.In covid 19 things were very tough still, Dubai managed to entertain their crowd with SOP. Its so so so beautiful. Dubai mall is so beautiful near this and world biggest building burg Khalifa in front of this. What an amazing view. Only my suggestion for visitors, you just go after 7pm becouse water fountain dance is only after 7pm to nidnight.

Really an excellent experience that I have ever seen in fact i also while watching first not able to understand but after 2 times listening to the music the water dances along with the music and according to the music.... Dubai engineers or the engineer who designed and proposed such an excellent design must be appreciated.... So much eager to go there again if long leave available again....

Beautiful, majestic, heart warming! If youre ever in Dubai dont miss this. It takes a short time and its worth the experience. I wish it played for slightly longer though, maybe 15 minutes per show.

Been here just for watching the dancing fountain (me.and my friends called it) it was soo beautiful experience to watch the fountain here because they made the fountain more artsy in an exact schedule. The fountain contains five circles of different sizes and two arcs. During the end of 2010 a new element was added to the fountain, fire, which outlined the fountains. The fire was temporary for the 2011 New Years celebration.[5] The Dubai Fountains project water in the air in many different combinations and patterns. The beam of light from the fountain can be seen from over 20 miles away.[6]The Dubai Fountain consists of many high-pressure water jets created by WET, including Shooters, Oarsmen and water robots. The water robots make the water seem to dance while the WET Shooters shoot water upwards; Super Shooters, which shoot water under more pressure up to 73 m (240 feet) in the air, and Extreme shooters, which can shoot water under the most pressure to 500 ft (152.4 m) in the air. These WET Shooters create a loud boom noise after water is ejected. The Extreme Shooters are used the least during each show because it takes a lot of time to build up enough pressure and energy to shoot water that high in the air.

This is one of the most delightful experience is Dubai. I know it could be an overstatement but on a fine evening, just spend couple of hours here watching different shows from the other side (far from The Dubai Mall gate) where crowd is less. You will enjoy this marvellous mixture of water, sound, light and air. Clicking pictures or taking videos is fun but once you are done, just give one show your full peaceful attention and you will feel happy. Probably then my first statement may not sound as an overstatement. Good Luck!

The show durations were a bit short and due to covid restrictions, crowd control measures sometimes make it difficult to enjoy the views from up close.

A nice attraction very close to The Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa. You dont have to pay for fountain show. The fountain show was great. Just check the timings for fountain show before visiting. It is around 5 to minutes per show. But it is worth the time. The location is accessible by metro. The nearest metro station is The Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa station. From there you can visit this place by walking. The best place to watch the show is boardwalk for which you have to pay some amount.

Excellent show, it nearly compares the that of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Great views, and with social distancing in place. The security are strict with social distancing and it is great to see. Music included arab and western songs.

After our trip to the top of the Burj Khalifa we decided to venture out and walk around the famous Dubai fountain. The sound, light and water show is really amazing.
