155-Million-Year-Old Dinosaur in Dubai Mall. The Dubai mall showcased 155 million year old dinosaur at the grand atrium and it has become a big hype since no body would ever think of having a real structure of dinosaur skeleton inside a mall. But Dubai has a way of proving the crazy as possible.“Dubai dino” is the name given to the dinosaur through a contest. It was the wining entry to a competition asking shoppers to come up with a name for the skeleton dinosaur. A Saudi woman wins the said contest.

Dubai Dino is genuine fossil of Diplodocus, a large, long-necked dinosaur. The total measurement of the Dino is over 7 meters in height, and 24 meters in length.

Other specimens in world museums have no more than 35% of bones from excavations, or in general are replicas (casts).There is also a nice interactive presentation at the Dubai Mall.The exhibition is free
