It is really interesting to walk around this area and it is great for taking photos. There are lots of galleries which I would recommend looking at.

Great experience. A truly cultural perspective of something they have stemmed from and I think thats the message here. From a wall became a city.

A small part of the historical wall that surrounded and kept Dubai safe from intruders has been restored here.Its made of corals, just like other old structures in Dubai which were also made using corals.

This is the oldest piece of the city - the oldest wall still standing (barely) in Dubai. Nothing much to see here but you can just walk around as part of the Al Fahidi tour. There are a few interesting art installations around this place.

This area is full of history and musseums. I would recommend this place for visitor who want to see some of the UAE/Dubai culture after the hustle and bustle of the large malls.

Well preserved good to explore this kind of place to know the history of the place.

Just the broken wall at the centre of al fahidi district. It is a part of old dubai long time ago, before dubai change to be a modern city like today. It is enough to remind us about old dubai, and make us know little bit of information. But for me theres nothing special from it.

It was nice to see old Dubai and learn some about its history.

This place sucks

This is the area where you can breathe the history of old Dubai, the walls of the old city, the wind towers that served to create some refreshment on hot days (which are many here), the narrow streets that in themselves shelter from sun and the old fort now converted into a museum.

This is the oldest piece of the city, a piece of old wall, of what little remains. In the area you will see many art galleries.
