Huge. Spacious. Well equipped. Great scenery. Mentally makes you feel relaxed. BUT, THEY NEED TO STOP THE TECHNO MUSIC. DOESNT FIT THE PLACE.

If you are looking to improve your performance across any sport, then this is the place for you. Great team and very knowledgeable personal trainers. Cannot recommend it enough.

Great facility, terrible management! Too many personal trainers walking around looking busy, and using the equipment when there is no one there they are actually coaching. Never seen more than six people in the entire facility and yet the equipment I pay to use is always being used by ghost members.Also what’s very frustrating is that it’s a high performance facility without any high performance coaches. I asked the manager to help set up the speed gates for me and he didn’t have a clue.Basically this is just another gym in the middle of no where. Hence why I didn’t renew my membership because when I tried speaking to the manager to raise my concerns he dismissed me in a very rude way and walked away. (He just walked around a bit and went and started chatting to a PT) clearly just dismissing me.Anyway this review has been left to make people aware that although the facility is great, the whole vibe of the place stinks. My advice.. better management of the place is required. Lots of potential but no direction..

Seriously one of the best gyms in Dubai, there is a growing trend of competition posting false reviews for competition reasons.. this happens in everywhere sadly, I’ve been here for 4 months and couldn’t be any happier.

Gym was really awesome! A lot of machines so no worries bout waiting for other members to finish in a specific machine... staff are so hospitable and smiles at you all the time which makes my day way better... trainers are so helpful whenever you need assistance or advice they are always there 24/7 to take care of you.... salute to marinafitness72 👍🏼👌🏼💪🏼👊🏼🙏🏼☝🏻I will surely recommend this gym to my friends and relatives! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Interested perspective James. I am a member and I love the facility. The staff are the best in Dubai; personable, friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. This is the only place that looks at fitness holistically and from an individuals perspective. All I can say is that yours must have been a one off and a shame you feel that way. Bet if you came back it would be much better. Talk to. Guy called Basil; he is brilliant!

Its an amazing space, but unfortunately improperly utilized.There seemed to have been promise when it was the Michael Johnson Centre of Performance Training ...but now there have been too many negative changes. I cant even manage to use proper space as a paying member because the place is running wild with free lance trainers!Staff turnover has been ridiculous from great trainers leaving, and management seems to be questionable. I had conversed with other members about the head manager giving contradictory information on numerous occasions. Sad.

Gym big but many equipments bad. Only good machine is Keiser machine but many occasion does not work.Manager say from beginning gym will be open 24 hour but still not happening even now.Sauna broken many time.

Great training and fitness facility located in port Rashid. It’s very spacious and equipments are well laid out. Various Cardio machines around the gym. It has a indoor running track and a outdoor swimming pool 🏊 right beside the gym. Changing rooms are well organized with good spaced lockers and showers 🚿. There is a low calories healthy restaurant upstairs with reasonably priced healthy food. Parking is ease too. Membership cost is reasonable too. Staff are friendly. Highly recommended if your living nearby 👍🏻

Am glad to know that i wasnt the only one to receive conflicting information as sad as that appears. I remember reading about Michael Johnson Performance coming to Dubai and was very excited having heard about them from some friends in UK. I called to confirm was told it is a high performance training center (just what i needed for my kids i thought)Upon visiting the place months later i met fast talking manager who basically said performance was a waste of time for my kids and that with their fitness packages my kids would be trained well. I was taken aback by this comment having read about performance training and the science behind it especially looking at UK, Australia US youth sports i felt finally my kids will have that equalizer in sports that will push them ahead.Long story short on my visit i saw a sad case of missed opportunity and completely terrible management that seems to be ego driven and very old minded. I drove for like 40 minutes excited to sign up my kids to performance only to find marina fitness which i didnt understand what had happened. I even asked what kids programs they had again and was told karate, zumba, etc I dont see any performance programs and wasnt shown any but was promised great fitness for them. Obviously i wont be going back since fitness packages arent what i drove there for.
