They have an understanding of a fully commercial oriented and number focused company logic, so you feel and experience, rather than having a relationship with a school where you expect to have more common sense and sympathy, what you get is a typical bad company that have terrible after sales service, zero customer service & satisfaction policy. So, do not expect much care for your children, do not risk your childrens future with such mentality.

It is all about your money! Once they have your money, you will never see these kind, helpful management and smiling faces! After you pay, if you have a problem good luck! Principal should be working for a bank instead of a school! Do not leave your kids to hands of such people as they do not really care about kids or their future.

Among the best school ever because my late wife use to work there as T.A in the primary school section because this school a complex academic system. Clean and neat. Very safe and friendly. Very good service provided. The management is good and the staff are very kind. Its congested with students from everywhere because of their qualifications in teaching institution.

It is the best school my daughter has been to. Visit it, you will not be disappointed.

Very happy with school and teachers. Class sizes are 20 and 25. The class size gets larger the older the child, however the class will not go above 27. Nothing to say anything bad about the school apart from the parking situation. Facilities are amazing and extra support is provided in classes with children that need a bit of extra help.

This is a very, very good school. My son is a student of 8th grade. Staff is helpful to pupils as well as parents. Its great that the school is in residential area, my son goes cycling to school everyday!

Not recommended at all....disappointing experience,,, If your child in is not assisted he wont develop academically. School efforts are not sufficient as the system is set that good get better and weak get weaker. They force parent to pay for special assistant... Thier inclusion classes are useless... Had to change my son school in half of term 2 as he was not benifiting anything from this school... Dont waste Ur money...

This amazing school causes 30 min traffic jams at 730-8am every morning. Maybe fix your drop off procedures.This school has made living in DSO totally not worth it.If you want a 30 min commute to Academic City, just live in International City and pay 50% of the rent costs of DSO.Awful

This school lacks everything. They cant teach properly and they dont ever help the students. My kid always comes home stressed, confused and exaughsted. On top of that students have so much homework to do that they dont have time to do anything else. The school doesnt follow a proper system and every morning there is constant traffic. Very disappointed in this school. Its all buisness and money. Completely recommend not coming to this school.

I have been in this school for 6 years and I used to be so happy within Gems Silicon Oasis although the past 2 years have been so disappointing for me and I thought, what happened to this school? The new rules that have been made (as of 2019) are highly incorrect. This includes, toilets locking during class time, not being able to stay in the reception after school as students are meant to leave the site immediately, this is because WSOs staff only care about the schools reputation and NOT the students education, this shows how careless some staff are towards the students. When KHDA inspectors arrive to the school to inspect it, teachers read out powerpoints or documents way more clearly and in great detail which are then explained to show KHDA inspectors how outstanding the school is but within normal lessons and, in reality, non of this ever happens and WSO only cares about the finance and its reputation which is NOWHERE CLOSE to what a student wants for their future in education. WSOs educational system isnt effective at all as revision material is poor and teachers dont give enough of it, and often teachers give students revision lists and within them students are meant to study certain topics from a subject that have NEVER been studied before in class. Another point is that when math teachers give homework booklets, students complete them at home BUT when a student doesnt understand a question within the booklet, students can type/search up on google the exact question and the answer of the whole booklet will come up on the Internet, this is certainly unacceptable, how can a student learn? Often in classes, teachers show students videos or give them resources to study and learn from but what is the point of a teacher when they just give videos to watch? Students can simply go home and watch the videos on youtube themselves without the help of a teacher. There has also been a complaint about Year 11s picking music GCSE, they have been saying how the music department is incapable to teach successfully, the music teachers gave them resources to study for themselves, but didnt help the students effectively, if students are not assisted they wont develop academically. In conclusion, Gems Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis (WSO) has been trying for the past 2 years (especially this year) to become a better school but has failed the goal. WSO has kept increasing the fees for the whole time I have been in this school, the fee increase has not been any good as this school has really gone down in success. I hope they can improve in becoming a better school (as it was/ used to be) within educational purposes but as of 2019, I dont think this is the convenient school for students in Dubai.

My daughter goes to this school and teachers cant control their students and when they cant control the class they automatically give suspensions and deletions to innocent kids. Its terrible it doesnt even deserve a star. they dont go for quality they just want money and their image. They dont even care about the students. When the KHDA comes they suddenly care about the students and they do work ad when the KHDA leaves they go back to not caring.

I moved my kids out of it, really bullying was out of hands, my daughter till now remember how they used to treat her there, it lacks discipline and organising, the principal used to be PE teacher and have no experience what so ever in handling such huge school, its a waste of money and energy.
