My daughters are currently enrolled in CAS. We cant say enough about how supportive the administration and teachers have been throughout the whole academic year. Whenever I had a question or needed support with something I could count on a member of Senior Leadership returning my calls or emails within a day with a solution. The schools culture of positivity and empathy was what I was looking for for my child. The school provides the high level of challenge for students without the competitive nature of other schools in Dubai. I cant say enough about how happy my family is with our choice.

For the last 4 yrs have my children studying at this school. Yes, there have been times (but very rear) I wished otherwise but overall above average institution making real efforts to improve the lives of the children. Staff across the board and especially the teachers genuinely deserve ones appreciation and thanks and probably this filters down from the top. Yes, schooling could be cheaper but hay, thats life.

This School is really fun. The teachers are cool and they do not throw useless info at you. However, I think the rule on jackets could be changed, since only using the Schools jacket does not make sense, especially because you have to buy it separately, but then again, this is just a minor problem. There are a lot of sports teams if youre into that sort of thing, and there are a lot of extracurricular activities to try out. Also Im still a bit mad about the icing on the carrot cake.

We have been in CAS since Pre KG and this year my son Alessandro is graduating from elementary school. In the past two years we have been fully satisfied with our class teacher Mr Maris Joniec. I highly recommend CAS.

I have recently transferred my children from another US curriculum school to CAS. Im happy to say that they have found a home here. The student body is very international, and the students work together well in lessons. The teachers have been very supportive of my childrens progress in their subjects. This is likely because of the small classes. I dont feel like my children get lost in the shuffle like they did in their former school. Were very happy to be here :)

I have attended this school from 2011 to 2017 and by far one of the worst years of my life, teachers didnt care for the students and were verbally abusing students behind their backs and tried to give a hard time on the students, the head didnt care for the students at all no matter what in their opinion they are always right and the students including the parents are always wrong. IF you want your children to actually enjoy school and live a healthier life for their sake dont bring them to that school. IF their was any option to give a negative 5 star I would of put it and that includes me being generous in fact Im gonna complain to Google for not having that option. AND I WILL SAY THIS WILL ALL CONFIDENCE I HAVE HAD ACTUAL SUICIDAL THOUGHTS EVERYTIME I ATTENDED THAT SCHOOL AND WAS ACTUALLY GONNA COMMIT SUICIDE IN THE SCHOOL BATHROOM USING MY KARATE BELT WHICH I ACTUALLY BROUGHT TO SCHOOL ONE DAY JUST SO I DONT LIVE ANOTHER DAY IN THAT SCHOOL. No joke.

I am currently in grade 9 at CAS. I like the teachers because they help out when there is trouble they are there to support me. For example, in Math and Science if there is difficulties in answering a problem the teachers will take their time and help me. The school takes the Arts very seriously, unlike other schools that sometimes ignores it. In Art class we get to work together and collaborate which makes our work even better and it’s more fun. Some teachers are better than other teachers at encouraging us and finding ways to motivate us to be more successful. Effort isn’t always taken into consideration for grades, and some teachers hold a very high standard to achieve As and Bs. However, most teachers are willing to recognize our efforts and celebrate our successes even if we aren’t experts in the subject.

Collegiate American School has been like a home away from home to us. The support system, the friendly environment and the teachers quality has been next to none. Take as example, Mr. Maris Joniec, one of the grade 4 teachers. He has been one of the best we have seen in Dubai in the last 5 years. He comes from the US educational hub of Boston and he is truly committed to his kids well being and education. He tailors for each one needs and goes out of his way to ensure the kids are happy, learning and socializing with their peers. His style make kids give their best and perform the most they could while being happy. As an example, our older son achieved the highest scores in the US MAP test this year. Compare this to previous year where he was in the GEMS system. Not only did our son did not perform as well at GEMS, but he was quite unhappy in school. In summary, if you want your kids to learn, outperform while being happy and be in a family like environment, you should definitely consider CAS as you educational partner.

My message is to all the parents who care about their children’s education don’t be fooled into this school like I was, take your children to a well known school who actually cares and has passion for teaching! I am a parent of 3 children who have previously attended school at Collegiate American School. We had an unforgettably bad experience with the school and I had to move my children to another school. The staff at CAS are unsupportive of both the parents and children. I had hard times communicating with the staff, instead of being understanding and supportive of the parents they were rebellious. In addition to that teachers are unenthusiastic in the classroom which makes you think they are being forced to teach. However, what is mostly disappointing, is that ever since I have known the school they were always short on staff. They say that they offer subjects that they don’t have teachers for.

My daughter is in CAS for the past 6 years ... from day one we (my wife & i) knew that its not a pedigree school (because its new) but we felt that it has potential and we loved the environment (very positive) ... i had my share of arguments with the management at that time (6 years ago)... but decided that the progress we see with our daughter is much more important ... so we kept going with CAS.School management & board always listen to people concerns / feedback and do their best to tweak and fix and balance things to satisfy almost everyone (hence the changes in staff and management over the years) .. but as we all know ( you cant please all ) ... in CAS doors are always open and people are always there to help ... but u need to address the problem and be willing to hear the RIGHT ANSWER and not just THE ANSWER YOU LIKE TO HEAR .. after all this is an educational entity that any issue will effect many individuals not only you or your loved one...im not a big fan of writing reviews but i always like to say something when i feel that people are not being objective by writing a nasty / unrealistic reviews because they just want to inflect damage not just express truthful and honest opinion about something... especially if its a place i feel good about. You can visit CAS 100 different times and you will see the same thing beautiful, inviting, happy place with people willing to listen and help if needed.THERE IS NOTHING PERFECT WITH KIDS NOT EVEN THEIR HOMES because they still don’t have full grasp on true life issues yet.... but I believe that in CAS you will always find a safe, loving and fun educational experience that will keep your kids engaged, happy and always wanting more.My daughter is soo happy and her sister will join her soon inshallah.Im sure many will agree with what im saying and some might not be fully onboard but I believe if you have a child and you are looking for a school that almost everyone will know you by name and will be there if you need them, then you should pay CAS a visit and be your own judge. im sure once you visit you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have attended CAS from 2013 to 2020, its the best school Ive ever been to in my life. Every teacher no matter how much you annoy or trigger them, all they care about is for you to succeed. Every teacher focuses on the student and I personally believe thats the true way of teaching, most schools especially the one I currently attend doesnt focus on the student whatsoever and just makes you learn everything by yourself. This is the sad truth about education in 2020, most students around the world are convinced to go to school only to get good grades and knowledge is the last thing students currently care about. This causes student anxiety as they are scared as they cant get good grades. CAS is one of the last true schools in this world as they focus on you, they want you to be smart and they want you to be a better person. I used to be the biggest trouble maker in my class and Ive caused a lot of problems for teachers and principles but they changed me and they helped my behavior. Now in my new school Im the last one to cause trouble. So look go to your overpriced British schools that wont teach you anything but Im telling you right now, if you want your child to learn then CAS is the perfect place to go to!

I spent the worst years of my life there. i was harassed verbally and physically by my teachers. i went to school knowing i would not leave without crying. I became depressed and had to attend critical therapy. suicidal thoughts not only crossed my mind 10,000 times a day but also the minds of students around my. Trust me when i tell you this, your Childs happiness matters more than you think and by putting them in this school you risk losing the side of your child you love the most, the happy part. my mother began to worry i would kill myself and put a tracker on my phone just to be sure i wouldnt. and ever since i left i have found happiness again. i used to cry 3 times a day from being yelled at but now i laugh 300 times a day because my teachers care about my feelings and tell jokes. I never felt safe in cas but i feel safe now and if you are considering an american school. please try UAS, DAA, ASD, GAA, GAN, or GNA cas will ruin you life. And cas if you see this please put the frosting back on the carrot cake.

Founded in 2011, it is distinguished by its keenness to harness technology in support of education, in its belief in the importance of graduating a generation capable of dealing with all kinds and forms of technology, and accordingly the school uses iPads and laptops as an alternative to books in most cases. Collegiate American School welcomes students from pre-kindergarten to grade 12, and welcomes students of determination and provides them with a special educational program provided by a cadre of trained teachers to meet all their needs and provide them with the necessary care. The school is interested in extra-curricular activities and provides a range of sports and artistic facilities.
