D&B properties helped us to find our family home in Dubai Hills. Jack Wilson was the agent who helped us from beginning to end. He was very proactive from the first day and even when we started with the mortgage processing which wasnt in his area of expertise and therefore he handed over to another colleague of his, he was available and trying to help untill the handover date.Very professional and helpful.

I got in touch with the D&B team to lease a house and agreed to the asking amount. I wrote out a cheque to D&B which was encashed with speed (two working days). In my contract was a caveat to have a maintained and clean house handed over and I, consistently through WhatsApp communicated, to the D&B team about the same small list of maintenance work that was flagged to me by the previous tenant. I was assured that this would be the case. My first red flag was that Chantelle, the D&B agent, and the D&B team were consistently late to respond. If I made an enquiry in the morning, I would hear back, after two reminders, after 8 pm. This morning when I was set to inspect the house that I was supposed to be moving into tomorrow, I was told that Chantelle could not attend as she had to stay at home due to visa issues and red flags. I did go to the house to discover dirty toilets, unclean floors and walls racked with scratches. I contacted Chantelle and although she said she was monitoring the process of cleaning and maintenance closely, had no idea it was not being done. Chantelle said she was innocent and it was the landlords fault. After this Chantelle stopped responding. The landlord says he never received anything from her. When I raised this with D&B, they washed their hands off it and said Chantelle is a freelancer and not part of D&B although she does have a D&B card and number. They also said that a couple of clauses in the contract absolves them of all guilt and essentially, they are sorry this happened but they cannot help me (after taking over AED 5,000 from me). I had asked to speak to a senior agent and a client manager was copied into an email because everyone was in a meeting. She is yet to respond. At the moment, I cannot move into the house as scheduled and I am in danger of breaching my current contract. I have to pay extra for cancelling the moving services and the landlord is currently scrambling to find a someone to deep clean an apartment, which I thought was enforced as de rigeur during a global pandemic. This whole incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Whether you are a landlord or a tenant, I dont think this is the caliber that anyone deserves. If you are reading the reviews below and think this sounds legit - that is what I thought too and here I am. D&B asks for reviews almost as soon as they sign contracts, so please tread carefully.

Kiesha (the estate agent) was extremely helpful, gave a list of options for viewings within my budget and was very honest about what apartments I could / couldn’t afford. Once I had decided on the property I wanted to move into, she was extremely quick and efficient in getting all the documentation ready and ensuring the apartment was ready for my move in date. Kiesha was also communicating daily with different updates to keep me in the loop, which highlights the care they have for their clients! I also feel I am able to reach out to the company at anytime with queries about the property, and from experience they have always responded quickly. I would highly recommend using this company :).
