This review is from me as a Fitout contractor.A Lot of people have been saying that Concordia asks for a lot of documents. While this is true, believe me when I say this, this is the best method of quality assurance, Health, safety and environmental protection initiative. Concordia ensures that the clients get the best out of their space, while ensuring that the contractors are kept to task to ensure no corners are cut. They are extremely helpful, and are available on email and meetings to explain all details and make things as easy as possible, while ensuring quality standards. You will also find them extremely helpful in terms of hand-holding through the process, and inturn ensuring the betterment of the contractors output. Ms. Huma has always been available to patiently answer questions, explain the procedures, and goes beyond her duties and consults on the drawings to ensure quickest turnarounds and approvals while ensuring quality. When it comes to inspections, technical details and guiding through the actual works on site, Mr. Arsalan is very approachable, and provides solutions and workarounds to problems you may face on site, while ensuring that all protocols are being followed, and the end product is to the benefit of the end user/ client.If you deal with one of the buildings under the facility management of Concordia, you will come across this bundle of energy, Ms. Agnes. Shes very knowledgeable, and is generous in sharing the information that would make lives of the contractor and the client easy.All in all, the people right from the ones you initially contact, upto the people who approve the final works are friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. I am regular visitor at the fitout office and would like to commend all the staff here in always taking the time to clearly explain the process as well as also going the extra mile in order to ensure that the customers worries/queries are addressed and resolved in a timely and professional manner. All the staff at the fitout office are very courteous and engaging even when I arrive after the usual office working hours. It would be quite unfair not to mention all these hardworking individuals starting with the fitout team where Mr. Mark does a fantastic job of managing the fitout office, Ms Huma who always promptly offers assistance on any drawings related issues and reviews the drawings in record time, Ms. Agnes who handles and assist on the permit and other documentation process; Abilash, Rinil and Manjith who all handles site related queries/concerns and Salman who handles safety inductions. Ms. Riza at the finance/cashier desk is a amicable support for payment related queries. The JLTAD managed by Ms. Shabana and Ms. Elizabeth are very quick and responsive when it comes obtaining of the drawing approvals and resolving client documentation issues. Ms.Syeda from the OFC team manages and promptly responds to client queries in regards to their ofc for license procedures. Mr. Arslan from the inspection team offers excellent advises on issues and concerns during inspection.

One word: USELESS, they are supposed to manage the parkings in JLT, all the business towers people copied the cards and they are parking in the residents spots and the reply you get from Concordia? Put a cone or try to find a parking or call the police.I did put a cone and what’s the result? People remove it and still parking in my spot! I called the police they said it’s the job of security.The security guys are always lazying around somewhere doing absolutely nothing except being rude and inconsiderate.

I have had an extremely bad experience with their fitout approval office. Not mentioning any employee by name but its the overall management and processes which are there only to delay your operations instead of support and facilitate them. I hope DMCC will audit them and see how unprofessional they are.My contractor went back and forth to their office to submit all the required documents to get an approval of a minor fitout basically just removing a partition and adding some decorative ceiling track lights. They finally confirmed that all documents are there and ready to be put on the system and to give us a job#Based on that, I paid the fast service of 6 hours to have the documents reviewed and to have the approval/feedback. After more than 6 hours, they come back again saying that more documents are still pending and ofcourse this means more time will be wasted tor this!I feel this is a rip off.. 6 hours were to review drawings not to review if the documents are complete because this has already been done several times in several days!!! in normal circumstances i would request a refund for this fast track service which ofcourse they will never release for whatever reason!Instead of helping businesses grow, they are doing this!

Just now badly treated by a person who is pretending that he is helping me with high tone . I have a parking in Cluster M . I paid some 5000 per year and badly behaved . I tried to speak from the parking speaker cause I could not able to come in. The behavior was poorest over the phone . 12/02/20. Time 6.30 PM . The abusive arrogant customer service I have ever encountered .

The Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) master community has helped shape Dubai’s southern skyline, the community — of which DMCC was the master-developer — is now closing in on the 10 year mark, and its maintenance and upkeep has been an evolutionary process, says Concordia.The firm was co-founded by DMCC to maintain the master community, and in time Concordia has managed to find its footing in the city’s growing landscape of facilities management (FM) service providers, moving away from the ‘JLT-only’ perception that has long prevailed.fmME visited Concordia’s head offices tucked away behind the Al Etihad Gold refinery. “The location might not be something you expect to be part of JLT because there are no high-rises in this side of the master community, but we have our staff accommodation on site, and that’s probably been our biggest advantage over the years,” says Sanjay Bhatia, general manager, Concordia.Bhatia took over the role of company GM a little over a year ago, and brings a sound understanding of FM, having served in various capacities in EFS FM, Damac and Sodexho India.He gives an overview of Concordia’s evolution of scope of work across JLT. “There is a big difference in the community itself, first of all it’s not a gated community and faces tremendous pressure on a day to day basis. To add to it the road network is used by people to access other parts of the city and its highways, that brings in close to 80,000 visitors a day into the master community,” he informs.This unique nature of flow of visitors puts a peculiar set of pressures when it comes to cleaning and maintenance of the exterior, Bhatia says. “The master developer also turned one of the lakes into a park, and we maintain that as well — it’s used for a lot of events which we are co-organisers of,” he adds.Concordia has a dedicated team of 450 staff working on different aspects of JLT’s maintenance, from rope-access cleaning and maintenance, security, concierge, MEP etc. “Certain services have to be outsourced as per regulation — which include fire, life and safety; we also outsource elevator maintenance and landscaping. The latter most was a conscious decision because it’s a labour intensive service, which we discovered was easier and more affordable to outsource because the supplier has hundreds of staff who specialise in landscaping, rather than us creating a new sub-division within the company [it made sense for us to outsource it].Majority of Dubai’s residents have visited JLT at some point, if not having worked or resided in the community, and Bhatia notes the efficiencies with which the team handles day-to-day operations. “After I joined, we decided to do a skill-set matrix with all our staff, to see how good the people are: Are they in the right roles and positions? And we found out that the average tenure of our maintenance team is four years, which is a healthy average. The turnover levels are as low as any other company, and any industry standard in the UAE. This gives us a huge advantage because we don’t lose the knowledge of the staff that we have put a lot of effort in training.“This [JLT] master community has unique features — the lakes, underground services, parking structures and installations within them. Every time there is a change or upgrade in a system — for example we are in the process of changing all the gate barriers in the parking lots to anti-pass back — our staff shadows the vendor and learns from them. Gate barrier maintenance was also taken over in-house two years ago because the team managed to gain superior understanding of the system over time,” Bhatia explains.He further adds: “We are also in the process of upgrading all security systems and cameras. Again, the approach remains the same: Our staff work with the vendors during the installation stage. Ultimately, that also helps keep our costs down in terms of what the community pays as service charges.”

Visited my friend at S3 jlt, cluster S. My photo was taken by security against my will and my national id was kept against my will. By uae rules nation id cannot be kept by anyone except police, court. It can be checked or copy can be taken but not the actual national id taken from me, what holds very sensitive data. Its just a residential building, not even a hotel or anything important. Concordia implemented its own rules, which is extreemely disrespectful to visitors and tenants.
