I went for lunch here and have to say it was delightful! I was the only one there and choose the lunch special menu. It delivered above expectations and fabulous value for the quality of meal you are getting.The food was fresh, tasty and portion sizes good. Service and attention to hospitality my favourite part. If you get a chance do not miss it. I shall be adding this to my must do list.

Well done. I was there for lunch with my wife. We are both vegetarian. We had a delicious food. We really enjoyed the taste of the food, the restaurant has also very nice decor and the staff is helpful and friendly. It is definitely a great place for food. I would recommend it more for dinner than lunch.

The ambience is really nice, they have outdoor seating ( not in the summer though) the staff are very friendly and the food is really good.I wish there was more variety on the menus and I also wish that their starters are larger in size.The food is beautifully presented and it’s too pretty to eat.I loved their starters the-purple corn and tomato-yellow chili squidThe Chinese chifa rice was a little bit dry and sweet tasting. Everything else we ordered was cooked to perfection and was great.

Incredible service especially from our South African friend who went did everything possible to ensure we knew exactly what we were eating, where it came from, how it was cooked! Made it such a great experience and the food was delicious. Thank you!

I went for the first time quite randomly but the place is awesome. The food is really nice and I have some of my favorite Peruvian dishes. The team is always very friendly and have good recommendations.The deserts are worth exploring.

This was the first time l visited Lima, Dubai. They have good food, the ceviche was tasty. They even had cancha and a bit of choclo accompanying the ceviche. It could have been a bit spicier though. The lomo saltado was served in a kind of deconstucted way. It was good, but l prefer it in the traditional way. The lomo steak huancaina was tasty, but in my opinion, everything gets better with salsa a la huancaina, which l obviously love! The arroz chaufa (Chinese chifa rice), was ok, but not wow! The pulpo (the octopus) on the other hand was really, really WOW! The service was very good. I would like to go back to this place next time in Dubai.

A Peruvian restaurant is as exotic as it can get. An amazing place with an amazing ambience right in the heart of the city. Awesome Live band even on a week day is an added attraction. While the expectation was for an extensive non vegetarian cuisine but surprisingly even the vegetarian range was great.

The first thing you’ll notice is lush greenery. Lima’s cosy outdoor terrace is covered in plants and bushes, creating the feeling of a little oasis in the center of urban Dubai. Step in and be surprised once again by the warmth and authenticity. Expect smiles reaching out to you from every corner.I started my night at Lima on the first floor, right at the bar where Max and Luis were creating the best traditional Pisco Sour I’ve had in my life. Mixing bartending and story telling, Luis conveyed me of fables of past and present, and in a few minutes I was very aware of Peruvian dining rituals. Equipped with a drink I lost myself to the Latin tunes, nestling in a cosy hanging chair made of wood. The DJ’s booth at the opposite corner was barely noticeable but his work pushed my soul to dance.An hour later, all set with aperitifs, I made my way to the cevicheria, placed in a way that all cooking magic would be visible from anywhere at Lima. While I watched salmon being gently sliced, chef Diego Sanchez has appeared at the counter and I couldn’t resist but speak to him.Quick and very very charming, he talked me through the variety of ceviche dishes served at Lima and his passion to tweak traditional recipes introducing new flavours and tastes. A challenging task in Dubai, he thought. A big fan of a change I quietly disagreed, because only a silly girl would argue with a great chef while he is cooking for her.Chef Diego Sanchez started when he was just 17, a fact recognized by me as a huge achievement. With a little candid smile and eyes sparkling with passion, he immediately wins over his guests, capturing respect and attention. His charm continue with the taste of his dishes, perfected to the ultimate beauty in taste and presentation. I couldn’t stop applauding every time he appeared from the kitchen, adding a fantastic touch to the whole dining experience.

The restaurant is nicely located in City Walk. The interior is modern and trendy.The staff was not very friendly and the waiting time before you are serviced is too long. Seems that on Friday the staff is more busy with clients having brunch than to look for clients who want to order something from the menu. Unfortunately this was also the case during the entire meal.Lima serves contemporary Peruvian cuisine. The Peruvian cuisine is a melting pot of different cultures.The food is very superbely presented and you will fiind traditional dishes which have made the reputation of the Peruvian food. The food was good but not what you would expect in a restaurant with one Michelin star.

Extraordinary Chef Virgilio Martinez finally opens in Dubai! The venue is absolutely stunning, the bar up stairs is very cosy, cocktails are made to perfection. As for the food is certainly not what they serve in Central Lima, but is delicious and extremely well presented (Black Cod was slightly overcooked, but that can happen to anyone...). What made give this restaurant 5, is the service which was very attentive, friendly and anticipate your needs. Well done and I highly recommend it!!

If ever you visit Dubai and you have a passion for food....LIMA is an absolute must visit. I have been around the world and in my top 3 restaurants is a restaurant in New York, one in Rome and one in Sydney. I have had to pleasure to experience a few of the dishes listed in the menu just a couple of weeks ago together with our friends from Saudi Arabia. Not only are the dishes a feast to the eye, the intense flavours blew me away. I literally had goose bumps. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Well done LIMA!! You made it to the number 1 in my top 3 restaurants. If I ever visit Dubai again, I will most surely visit you guys again. And oh...did I mention the club upstairs? If you like salsa..and like dancing, go one floor up and have a blast.

Went there to celebrate my wifes birthday. The food was great and loved the ambience and good service. Thanks to the management for the special birthday treat! Would definitely visit again.

We have visited LIMA a number of times and always had an excellent experience but normally we have been in the evening. This visit was at lunchtime and we availed of their set menu. As normal it was excellent. I mistakenly had an issue with one of the dishes but the staff were extremely courteous and resolved the matter even though it was not the restaurants fault. The first course of pumpkin soup was fantastic, followed by a second dish of excellent ceviche and finally an extremely tasty Asian chicken fusion dish. A drink is included in the set price and it makes for excellent value. Many thanks to all the staff at LIMA who always deliver superior customer service. I would highly recommend a visit.

While Im not a big fan of Peruvian cuisine, I definitely recommend Lima for people looking for that option.Staff are really friendly and ready to assist in the food picking process for people who are not familiar with the dishes.The place is elegant and serves alcohol which makes it tick all the boxes.One thing to keep in mind is that its a bit expensive.

During the weekend it was very quiet.Small portions, high prices as if fine dining but setup is far from fine dining: No table cover for example...Logistics of food delivery are very poor if there is a group.We ordered several risottos (Veggie and seafood); way too salty.Service is not exceptional.

What amazing food! First time I tried Peruvian food and loved it so much that it’s convinced me to visit Peru! Had the set menu and every single dish was scrumptious. Nothing disappointed us! Service was great too! Will definitely be going back.

Worth a big detour. Must try if you like good food and in Dubai for a few days or more. Not cheap but still top value. Very reasonable wines on menu. Prosecco was top. Cabernet from Argentine good enough. People who rate this place lower than 5 stars must have had bad luck, bad mood or have no clue. We were with foodies from Chili, France, Zimbabwe and Netherlands. We did not know what to expect but we were blown away with the festival of great ingredients and taste. Let the waiters advice you and bring it on. Wowl.

We went for lunch to Lima and had a great time. The food is a Peruvian fusion and it is the perfect place to go when you are shopping in Citywalk. It is a relaxing delicious haven from the shopping! Recommend that you order 5 entrees so you can taste their amazing selection

Ive dined with Lima before but this time everything had an excessive amount of something, too sweet sauce, too sour marinade. It could’ve been better as i had it before when chef martinez was visiting.

Tiny overpriced dishes. Average pisco cocktails. 2 cocktails 4 dishes you’ll be done in less than half an hour and 600dhs lighter. Feels like a super expensive fast food deal. There is no atmosphere or strategy to keep the customer on the premises, the dishes are so tiny and the cocktails feel watered down that you will literally be done in less than half an hour leaving you to wander ‘now what?!?!’.

Saw this on trip advisor and was intrigued. Never had Peruvian food before so had to try and was not disappointed. Had to get a later reservation as full early sitting. Good sign!! Seated within a minute of arrival and drinks service was ok. Starters of Lobster Tiradito and Sea Bass Cerviche were delicious. Ambience would be improved by background music being Peruvian pipes (make it authentic) and not western dance music. Mains were Risotto Pacifico and Andean rib eye. See photos. Both very tasty. Another highly recommended place to dine in Dubai.

Lovely service by Hazel and thank you to the chef who gave us a complimentary beef to taste...delicious !!! Ceviches were yum . Sadly the place lacked a vibe...perhaps because guests were split between the restaurant and the semi outdoor area. Even the bat upstairs was only a quarter full on a Friday at midnight. Dubai needs more people!!!!
