3/510th April 2021Came here with a group of friends. Was easy to locate and the place is decorate beautifully. Lovely ambience and the show pieces are Instagram worthy.I had the mixed platter which was tasty, the lamb chops being my absolute favourite.I tried the chaply kebeb, wasnt up to my liking. A little too dry.The whole chicke fry was a little dry as well.We ordered a chicken curry as seen in the picture which was brilliant with the naan and roti. One my my veg friends ordered a Dal curry which to my was fantastic! Very tasty! For drinks I ordered a sweet lassi which tasted good.Would definitely come back here for sure.
Lamb Charsi Karahi has no lamb but mutton pieces and the one they are calling rotis were actually tiny biscuits. Staff was more interested in watching PSL cricket match then to service you. Meat was not properly cleared from unwanted attachments beside fat (which is required ofcourse in charsi karahi). Trust me.. I can cook better Karahi then this one. Their other branch in Jumeirah is good.
Truck Adda has been in our list of go-to Pakistani restaurants for quite sometime now. Located in paramount location in JLT, it has typical dhaaba vibe. The services are great and staff is courteous. They should implement a efficient way where guests can can call the server during midway. We love their Karahis and have almost tried all of them. Their Peshawari Karahi is too good. The Laal roti (wheat bread) is nice and easy on stomach. They have variety in their menu and is reasonabe in terms of cost. Good place to go when craving for Pakistani food.
Wonderful flavor and wonderful service..it is my 1st time here ..i give them 5 stars..recommend it for everybody
Amazing food with awesome themeAlways love the amazing lamb dishes they serveVery cooperative staff & management. At affordable pricesJust a small thing on which i want the management to rethink is to reconsider the prices of lassi, i mean seriously a glass of lassi costs 14 AEDAnyways i love this restaurant thats why they deserve 5 stars from meHope they do think about their menu prices
Great taste. Loved mutton boneless karai and BBQ. JLT branch has limited seating indoor and AC wasnt working. Kulfi was okay 5/10
While a lot of effort has gone into making the decor, art work, crockery, furniture etc come across in colors of truck art unfortunately same amount of attention to detail in making the food taste good seems to be missingChapal kabab tasted nothing like chapal kabab but was more of a burger patty. Chicken Tikka was over spiecy and slightly under cooked and the BBQ platter while quite filling didnt taste that great.Sweet lassi was super sweet so much that you could actually crunch the sugar in your mouth and Kashmiri chai was nothing exceptional eitherGood to experience it once but dont think I will be going there again
I cam here before with a Pakistani friend and he knew what to order. Yesterday when I saw the place I remembered and chose to have my lunch here instead of the kcal neighbor. I asked the waiter recommendation and although the food was ok, it wasn’t the best. I have had better Pakistani. This is not to say I will not come again, for sure I will. I am hopeful they will have dishes that I’ll like more than what I had yesterday. It was chicken in tomatoes gravy. Again, I can’t remember the name but I have taken pictures.
I dnt know might we went late there or it’s always work like that but experience over there was not so pleasantI heard a lot about this restro but the I dnt see why so hype about itFood was average can get better in other place with better price .
Pakistani truck stop food right here in JLT!Starting with the ambience. The decor is brilliant. From the walls to the plates to the uniforms of the staff, everything screams trucks of Pakistan. The smell of charcoal greets you as you get close to the door and the food echoes the same.6 of us dined and we ordered:ChapattisGarlic naansLaal atta rotisChanna dalBhindi masalaPanneer handiChicken behari botiMutton seeks kebabAfghani beef kebabMutton seekh handiThe kebabs melted in your mouth and the accompanying dipping sauce had a chaat flavour that complimented the kebabs perfectly. The staff are courteous and they know their job. They give you suggestions and are quick to respond to your queries.Overall a great experience and I shall be back again...real soon!
Had Chicken karhai, Beef behari boti and chicken tikka.Karhai and behari boti were outclass and amazing.Tikka was a bit disappointing as the it was just tasteless.Puri and roti were awesome as well.Definitely recommend everyone to give it a try.
The chicken tikka is out of the worldYummm yummm yummmmmLoveeeeeePls serve tikka biryani in house also
This was my first visit to the much talked about place for authentic pakistani cuisine.Truck adda basically means Truck stand in Pakistan where truck drivers stop and almost all truck stands in pakistan are famous for great fresh food.Having that in mind we went there and ordered mutton peshawari karahi, truck adda special bbq chops and famous bun kabab from karachi. I was somewhat disappointed with karahi as it is supposed to be their best dish being famous with truck drivers and all. The karahi was not bad but also not great. Next was bbq chops and i must tell you that those chops are outstanding and amazing, i can go there again only for the chops alone. Next was daal bun kabab and again it was something i wanted, just too good and almost authentic taste only thing is just that they do not put onion slices in their own recipe so you have to ask them to add it to make it authentic karachi style bun kabab. The ambience is very nice and themed as truck and road, chairs are a little unconfortable being made of hard wood without cushion.Lastly the staff and this is why they are getting one star less. Firstly we did not feel welcome as nobody greeted or seated us, even though my father who is an elderly person was with me and apparently the supervisor or incharge even saw us entering. We did not even get a nod or a smile from either of the 2 people behind the counter. The waiter who served us was super awesome nice guy with complete package.Overall good experience and i shall definitely visit again.
AC was not working and having issue while seating inside the restaurant
Just had karhai in truck addas jlt branch and they served pre-cooked food, even the meat was not fresh when the karhai is supposed to be served hot and fresh.
Went to Abu Dhabi branch - Worst dine in experience.
Love the Aloo Palak there
Nice experience! Theme of place is as it should be, Truck Adda, really looking like an Adda, even people there were blended with the environment! Food was good not great!
I would have given 4 or even 5 stars but the mutton in the iftar platter was a huge disappointment.
Best biryani Ever i eat in dubai . class ki biryani
I love that place when we eat we feel we eat in Pakistan love it very delicious food alhamdulillah I refer to all my friends and family to eat there.
Amazing, tasty and good variety of food. A bit expensive but good taste.
Yummy north Indian food. Whatever we ordered was so tasty. Even the quantity of the curries were also good.
Delicious and authentic food, from the biryani, to the behari and chapli kebabs. Great service too
Lovely food, the only issue is that of parkingBut the food was absolutely a treat 😋 yummm
Good tasty food. Mixed grill way too spicy but still good.
Ah,, okay kinda food some half cooked n thats the issue
Love the taste of chicken karahi
Tasty food, courteous staff, and genuine experience. Will surely recommend and visit again.
Really Nice Experience,I always visit it but today its special because its my birthday, and the dish named CHICKEN CHAPAL KABAAB....Out Standing.....🖤
Delicious. Economical. Our top restaurant for an oriental Pakistani/Indian dish in entire Dubai. Although we have eaten several times, tried the entire menu, we cannot decide what to recommend – every dish is delicious. The food is half the experience. The indie-like set-up and homey vibe representing the colorful vibrant city life of Pakistan stops off the entire experience.Check out our profile for more reviews!
Loved that place , decor and painted plates very nice .food was also very delicious would like to go there again.
I visited Truck Adda (JLT branch) with my husband and our experience was quite unpleasant as the AC was not functioning and the overall state of the restaurant was untidy. The service was quite slow which is quite surprising since we were the only people there!Namkeen boti was not cooked thoroughly so the texture was tough to the bite and the masala tasted raw. Chicken karahi which is usually excellent was only mediocre. The kheer and chai did not taste fresh.Sweet lassi, white naan and choice of music was good.Hope management looks into these issues.
They have best Pakistani style karak chai that if you are a tea lover would definitely love other than that its a good Pakistani place I find it a bit over priced though. Their qeema naans are to be tried
One of the best peshawri Karahi and fantastic tea (doodh Patti) :)
Horrible customer service from Truck adda JLT. We ordered chicken rolls and they delivered beef rolls instead. After complaining also they did not accept their mistake and we had to throw all of those in the waste bin as we don’t eat beef at all.
Excellent ambiance, food is average.
Love this place and the food. The best kadai in Dubai. The staff is very friendly and understanding. Highly recommended.
Seriously amazing food! Don’t s second guess, don’t doubt. Just visit and you won’t regret. Amazing ambience and great staff. Must visit restaurant if you are into Indian and Pakistani food.
Delicious biryani. Food is fresh And clean. Traditional restaurant in dmcc.
Visited a couple of times. The first time I had a curry and was a little disappointed, the chicken was a little tough and didn’t seem like it had been marinated enough. The second time though blew me away. We had mutton seekh kebabs and chicken boti and it was some of the best food I’ve had. The Kashmiri tea is great too. Highly recommended.
Good place to go with your friends and family for having a desi (Pakistani) food
Great karahis and probably the best restaurant in town for an authentic Pakistani Karachi.Decor is nice as it is decked out as a traditional Pakistan truck. Well worth a visit.
Nice place to go either solo or with family.. excellent food and nice ambience
I have been here on last month. We ordered Lamb Karahi, Chicken Karahi, Tandoori Roti. We can dine inside or outside the restaurant. They served the food in 20 minutes. The Chicken Karahi is good but Lamb is not up to the expectation. The serving should be improve. Moreover when you order food you should have an idea about the number of bread you ordered because we felt miscalculation on the bill twice.
Nice place
Worst unhealthy food you can ever have. Bad quality and dangerous to health. Jlt branch is pathetic and not as per standards. Rotten food was sent to me!
Juicy kebabs, good service by the guy in black tshirt, forgot to ask his name, very polite, good interior with a adda theme, need to be maintained a bit tho... but a good place to go for some desi food and chai
Loved the theme and ambience ,, great quality food and service
Good food. Though service is a bit slow due to limited staff.
When I was living in Dubai Cluster E. This was my go to place for Chicken Karahi. All food is good.
Authentic pakistani restaurant.great Karahi and food. Kulfi and tea is awesome.
Best desi food and atmosphere. A little expensive compare to other desi food restaurants
Very good food and great staff, just place is bit small.. Rest all thumbs up
DELICIOUS FRESH FOOD AND CHEAP!!! Cant get any better🙏
Best Charsi Tikka Karahi at Truck Adda.
Bit expensive but food quality and hospitality and location is very nice
I wish there could be black stars too to give negative feedbacks about restaurant. We drove almost 25 kms to enjoy food at truck adda. We had to wait to get seated but nonetheless, we were seated outdoors which was an awesome ambience. (One star is only for location). We ordered our food and finally the food was brought to our table with very arrogant waiter. No mannerism taught to waiters. We ordered some authentic murgh handi ( highly recommended) but we got uncooked PATHETIC chicken handi , UNSALTED aalu palak, fresh nans, rotis and finally TASTELESS lassi. We informed waiter about uncooked chicken to which waiter informed as ‘this is how the dish is prepared’. When we highlighted the food quality and kind of service to manager. He was also least bothered about customer’s satisfaction and did not even bother to understand the situation. People visit the reataurant only for ambience and the theme which is undoubtedly good and complete opposite to their service and food. Our overall experience was worst and we have decided that we would never recommend truck adda restaurant to our friends.
Nice location but below average food .
Staff very rude, not following #Covid-19 health care procedure, staff not wearing mask
Awesome authentic cuisine of Pakistan in Dubai. Space is normally fully occupied at dinner time.
Very authentic cuisine
Kadai was nice, Grill was okay. I loved their naans. Its an okay place overall. A bit pricey I guess. Im not sure though, I treated more than 20 people so it be just that.
Very nostalgic interior designs along with amazing food. Ordered the roti with chicken curry. The dough was fermented so it had that awesome smell . Chicken curry was served in the kadai straight from the fire. Overall it was an amazing meal. Would definitely order from here frequently
Good place but they have raised prices very high!
Food was very delicious specially Mutton and chicken karahi.
Very disappointing experience at Zombies land! All staff acts like a Zombies. You have to serve yourself there. Dead and dull place. Didnt enjoy dinner while sitting outside with buildong swerage bad smell. While same restaurant in Al Diyafa is very good with active and pleasant staff.
Its very nice
Traditional Pakistani food 4 stars for service and food. This place is quite small and a.c. doesnt operate properly.
Loved their decoration of the restaurant. Karahi is full of flavour and spciy!! Good experience 👍
If you wanna have a good Pakistani desi food.. then this is the place for you...Price is not soo high and not cheap though...As a Indian I dont prefer too oily food ... So I felt the food was pretty heavy for me..But the non veg they cook are soo fresh here.
Yum food. Reasonable price (but price is good for premium Pakistani food). Seating is reasonable in /out and good for familly. Charsi karachi is must
Just wow.. Karahi lamb with Roghni naan washed down with lassi.. very tasty food. I would recommend to clean up the place a bit as the air is stale and toilets need a revamp. Give the place a fresh paint and it will be 5 stars all the way
If you want to eat a lip smacking food then this the place to hit with family and friends .. then mutton Kadai is the must try dish
Awesome Pakistani food, nice themed cozy place
Good food, good service but okay ambiance and small sitting space.
