Went 1st time at Al Awir Plane Crash site.It is not an actual plane crash site but the plane was brought at the location for photography and viewing purposes (as confirmed by a UAE Local in the area).The condition of the plane and wreckage provides a great background for the photographers. Half an hour is good amount of time to visit the location, view the site and take photographs.The place is easily accessible by a normal car and doesnt require a 4 x 4 in anyway whatsoever.Early mornings or evening times are best to visit the place to avoid blustering sun and heat.

Its a small 10 seater plane fuselage and engine. The language on the plane parts looks Russian.There is no information anywhere.Not sure if the crash happened here or somewhere else.The parts are spread over a small area outside farms.It could be a skydive type aircraft too.The seating is on the sides.

Instagram: @makram.radwan, plane crash located in Al Awir area, it’s around 30 minutes from Downtown. It’s always good finding these remains of old incidents. There should be a banner there telling the story of the incident, the airplane model and all those details.

The mysterious plane wreck in the Al Aweer district of Dubai with the unknown history. A 15 minutes drive from Mirdif City centre, Dubai. You will not find any public transportations to reach there. I think its a private place and there is a kacha road to reach there. Better to visit on day time because there is no lighting facilities. The remainings of the small aircraft spread over there. Nice place for photo shoot. Be careful while driving if you get your car avoid the possibility to get stuck in sand.

One of the best place for portrait photography in Dubai

It’s a privet property, I guess! You will see guards/caretakers standing on the opposite side property; but never interfere in our freedom of taking photographs. Also overhead there is rush of air traffic , I think its landing or takeoff route of a nearby airport(Good for photography); If you are lucky to have clouds it’s a perfect place for photography.

Not sure if it a real crash, but my kids enjoyed.

The place is very familiar for its vegetable market near by. But in this farm we can go near a crashed Soviet Union passenger flght Antonov An2. Actually the plane got crashed somewhere else and dumped here later 2017.

The place is inside al aweer farms a peaceful and out from the crowd location. The place can be reached with normal car and easy access. No fence or security.. its just a crashed small airplane beside a gravel road. Good for some photo background

31 August 2021Two weeks back I went there. This is a plane crash site maintained as it is it seems. The path is blocked for large vehicles like buses and trucks etc. The place is surrounded by Dubai Police offices and staff accommodation etc. Very calm locality. The place is scattered with the ruins of that plane. This is pretty old plane. Most probably 1950 (I may be wrong). You can go inside the plane etc. The cockpit and all are in ruins because of the crash and also because of the elements.

Nice photography and videography spot however if you are going there with motorcycle make sure you don’t get into sand not to get stuck. It’s lil bit inside not on main road so it will be hard to get help.

Nice place to visit. I suggest visiting during cool weather. Can go near the site with any car, but needs a 4X4 to go too close (in case u want pictures with the car).

Good place to access, no need of 4x4 paved road till the location. The engine and body are separated but most of the parts are intact.

Good for photoshoots. I think the best time to shoot is early morning hours.

Beautiful place, Please leave it that way and dont litter 😊 Easy to access as theres a tarmac road leading to it. Dont drive your car or the sand as you might get stuck unless you have a 4x4.

This plane was placed there for many years for training purposes. Not crashed. I know the owner who placed it there. He placed it next to thier farm. Please if you would like to visit dont play loud music. The place is quite keep it as it is. Thanks.

Guys this place is overmuch over rated. Its just some ruins of an old aircraft. If you have nothing else to do.

A nice place to visit and the best time to visit is early morning or evening. It has small plane crash debris. No tickets to visit this place, its totally free.😊 You can watch the debris and also click nice pictures over there.It can be visited by any car or bike but avoid going inside the sand, vehicle may get stuck in the sand.

We can see A propeller and a crashed aircraft body on desert. Still, there’s no data around the history of the occurrence or the exact area of the crash location.

It is an old crashed aero plane’s parts, lying on a desert. Very easy to access through Google maps location. Not crowded. Still not clear how the air craft came there. The spot is very near to Dubai International airport, so might be crashed here while landing. Rumors that the plane brought here for a telefilm shooting and dropped here. Since long time the air craft is here and lot of people visiting it to take photos and videos.The aircraft made in Russia, named Antonov A2. It was commonly used by Russian military, later used for agriculture and personal needs.

A nice place for an evening drive and a few clicks.

Nothing fancy, just a wreckage of a Russian aircraft, in the middle of a neighbourhood. Nice for Instagram and Facebook photos. Just for clarification, it wasnt a crash.

It is interesting place to see, but besides the wreckage there is nothing else to see. If there is no crowd of people visit should not take more than 10-15 min with photoshooting.
