For me ! La tablita is one of the if not the best Mexican resturant in dubai ! I tried it when it first open years ago and until now everything there is authenticThe food and service is exceptional ! Ofc best thing is tacos 🌮 ! Most of them are good and delicious.

La Tablita is my go-to place for Mexican food in Dubai. The venue is spacious with vibrant and sublime decor. The Mexican food is authentic, flavorful and utterly delicious. And the drinks pack a perfect punch. Today we tried their breakfast menu that is available on Saturdays and it was amazing. Priced AED 55 it includes a wholesome Mexican breakfast dish along with coffee or tea or juice. Mexican bread basket is also provided. Very good value breakfast and the portion size was great.

Went there to celebrate a birthday. Just disappointing. We had to hide at an angle because the smoking area is in the middle of the mall and there is smoke everywhere. Staff are not attentive to say the least. They messed up my order. Over priced food, zero quantity zero quality. It was a horrible experience. Never going there again and will not recommend this place. Even the table next to us had angry quests.

I think its the best Mexican restaurant Ive been to in Dubai so far. all the dishes were great and the chef was always around the tables checking the overall experience of everyone. Great place. recommended.

Ever tried a Mexican Breakfast ??? This was a new for me too and there couldn’t have been a better place than 𝙇𝙖 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙩 !!! The restaurant is beautiful, cozy, with a lovely ambience and stunning views. Now to start with, Mexican breakfast is heavy and oh so fulfilling, and when it comes to taste it’s literally a riot of flavors. All the dishes we tried were literally 5/5…right from the selection basket which was soo good, to the Flat bread, everything was delectable. My favourite was the Flautas, crisp rolled tortillas with a perfect filling. I was looking forward to this Mexican restaurant, having had someone tell me of a good experience they had had previously (couple of years ago). Things didnt start well when we were placed under one of the LOUD speakers. I dont mind background music in a restaurant, but the levels were such that I couldnt actually hear my partner just across the table. We moved ourselves to the next available table, which although a little quieter, was under the air-conditioning. I asked 3 times if they could turn the volume down a little, before anything was done. Having ordered a starter to share, it took some time to get one of the waiters (there were 5 I counted) attention to order drinks and main. The starter arrived, but the drinks did not, until wed nearly finished our starter, which was fairly average plate of nachos. The mains arrived just as we finished our starter. I had the fajitas, which were fairly bland. I dont think the chicken had been marinated in any way and as usual there were not enough flour tortillas for the amount of chicken etc. By this point we had decided we wanted to finish as quickly as possible to leave. After our plates were cleared, it was another 20 minutes until we managed to get the attention of the staff to request the bill. They all seemed to have disappeared, leaving one chap that was only there to clear tables. We will not return and certainly wouldnt be recommending it to anyone.

My friend and I were at La Tablita for Friday brunch. Great service and very friendly staff but the food and drinks didnt meet our expectations. The margarita was too sour, ceviche was fishy and tacos were rather blend. But the interior is nice and they also had live music. I would have given easily 4 stars if the good quality was a bit better.

4 of us went for taco tuesday.(used a promotion card)All the staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive checking on our table frequently.Wed like to thank Jesus especially who was informative about menus explaining us about the ingredients of the food and other promotions on different days of the week, etc.7 different kinds of tacos were served and 3 of them were kept ordered several times more since we loved them.(veg, fried shrimp, fried baby sweetcorn)Additionally we ordered churros and tres leches cake that both were excellent for sweet ending.Definitely coming back to try Drunch on friday and breakfast on saturdays.

Food was tasty specially fahita chicken and beef. I would give them 10/10 rate. The major issue is that food portions was a little bit disappoiting since it can be shareable. And you need two meals to make you really full

We booked for Friday drunch at 4 pm and we reached there at 0355pm. We waited for 10 mins and then the waiter came and told u to order from the menu as the drunch will be closed after 15 mins! Which would be 0420pm not 5 pm! We told her we want to go for the drunch. The food took another 10 mins to be served . The food tasted really good but honestly the service was really bad! We got our desserts which was only 1 plate of churros and 2 pieces of cake for 4 people! Then when we asked for more she said that the kitchen is closed!! And then after we complained she got us an extra plate of churros and the cakes never came!! Then again after 15 mins we asked the waiter and finally they served us desserts.Extremely disappointed with the service!

Good Mexican food and great selection of wine. Prices are affordable, good ambiance and the staff were friendly . We were there for ladies night, compare to other places instead of 3 they only provide 2 drinks.

Guys this place is bussin! Just first of all, the music and the staff here are amazing. Theres like proper Mexican/Spanish dance music playing the whole time and its such a vibe. The staff are all Mexicans too, and theyre so crazy sweet. Now the food, well we did the unlimited taco Tuesdays, and the shrimp taco and the chicken taco were both real delicious. The other two beef tacos were okay, and the veg tacos were decent as well. The main issue was the tortilla; its a soft shell taco, and the tortilla was a little doughy and dry in the mouth. Plus the beef tacos werent exactly bursting with juiciness either. The table chips (nachos) were awesome so were their 3 dips/sauces. But the best came last, when we figured wed order a dessert and got the Tres Leches vanilla sponge cake. What a revelation! Such a beautiful looking, absolutely yumm creation. That jalapeno ice cream might actually be vanilla ice cream with candied jalapeno shavings on it. Regardless, that cake was the highlight of my week and Im definitely going back here at some point for the ambience and that Tres Leches cake 😍Wouldve given em 5 stars if the beef tacos werent so dry 😢Pics: beef flank & chorizo taco (L), shrimp taco (R), and the amazing Tres Leches.

Wonderful Mexican taste , Super service

I was there for Friday drunch soft drinks package. Staff introduced the food menu but didn’t offer the drinks menu so we had no idea what mocktails we can order. Had classic virgin margarita and we didn’t like it. The starters are fine. Guacamole tastes good. Main course quesadilla and fajitas are rather normal. I was expecting something more. I ended up enjoying sour cream more than the food. When we finished the main. Staff asked if we Ike the chef special chiles en nogada. Well it’s a bit late isn’t it. Ordered both desserts they are highlights of the day. Wanted to have more but staffs were overwhelmed by other demanding guests I supposed. No one would love to give us eye contact for a while that we ran out of food on the table. Ran out of water.

Delicious Mexican cuisine! Fresh seafood, for first time I get to self make my own Taco. Positive atmosphere and lastly you must try the cake with condensed milk.

The brunch experience was great. Food was tasty but we requested chicken fajitas instead of the pork due to certain individuals dietary restrictions. This was mentioned right at the beginning of the brunch but arrived very late and wasnt very flavourful. The rest of the food and drinks were good.

After craving some decent Mexican food, I recently had a meal at Maria Bonita in Umm Sequiem for the first time in about 10 years. It is supposedly ‘the best Mexican in Dubai.’ 10 or 15 years ago I might have agreed with that statement but, I must say, I was incredibly disappointed. The food was not just terrible, greasy, sickly and disappointing, it left me completely without having satisfied my Mexican craving! While vowing never to return to Maria Bonita again, a few days later I decided to have a meal at La Tablita to fulfill my craving. What a great choice that was! Fantastically tasty food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. The tacos are fabulous, and the Chicken Molcajetes is to die for! Plus you can actually have a margherita (or three!) with your meal, unlike Maria Bonita which doesn’t even serve alcohol. La Tablita has found a new ‘regular’ in me. I will certainly be coming back regularly, and I just can’t wait to try other items on the menu! I would say La Tablita is actually the best Mexican in Dubai!!

Last night we went for dinner to celebrate bday of my boyfriend.Firstly, it was very easy to book a table via Instagram, they were immediate with the response and confirmation, friendly and caring.Authentic ambience, great food and attentive staff. Fajitas were great! Guys did some customizations for us as requested. Plus, unexpected performance brought some attention to us (I regret I didn’t shoot a video with the team singing in Spanish) and my boyfriend felt special 😊Thank you to Cindel and her team!We will come back for brunch 🤪

Beautiful restaurant. Very authentic and tasty food. Lots of shareable dishes if you are looking to taste a little bit of everything or you are with a big group. Decent selection of cocktails, draught beers and mexican beers and drinks. The service is impeccable specially from people like Patricia or Josue who makes your experience very positive in a super friendly environment.

We came here after reading all the great reviews on Google but we’re not impressed by either the service nor the food quality. Upon sitting down we said we wanted to have taco night (Tuesday) but there was no menu (not even the QR code pamphlet) and no introduction from the waiter as to what the choices were. It was our first time in the restaurant and were therefore immensely confused as to what we could expect to be served. The frozen margarita I ordered came first as a regular margarita. I sent it back and asked for frozen one, but what came back was still a watery margarita definitely not the thick, slushy kind we would usually call frozen. We had to ask for salsa instead of having them brought to the table along with the tacos. Basically the waiter was just a courier between the kitchen and the table without any additional interaction or purpose. The tacos were ok at best, would have been better if someone told us what each variety was really. Not sure what the hype is on Google but it was certainly nothing to revisit again.

Excellent Mexican restaurant. No wonder been chosen as the best in Dubai. Food was so good, we were big group and ordered many things from the menu all were yummy. The only thing we didnt like was the chocolate mousse which had no taste at all. Otherwise perfect dining place that I would for sure visit again and again

Staff are the stars of this place! Love the decor and ambience! Food is good, we had a mix of appetizers such as nachos, guacamole, and quesadillas. And had Fajitas too, the beef is delicious! Margaritas r good as well...Prices r actually great for a Hyatt dinning...But yeah the staff r just awesome, positive n so helpful! They even entertained our 2 year old daughter! Kudos! Ouuuuu forgot to mention the yummy churros!!!! 😍

I reserved for taco’s Tuesday with my buddy after reading the reviews below. The service was so so so … so slow , first order of taco’s was cold , shrimp taco’s took forever to arrive , the irony is that a couple next to us , a lady and a guy obviously , was having the full attention , the tacos kept coming to their tables endlessly, we had to complain several time to get our taco’s , overall bad experience!!! Maybe we should have ordered a la carte , it would have been much better I guess.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Dubai , and is one of the oldest too , you feel home like experience, vibrant music and the so forthcoming staff that is delightful , they accept kids which adds to the attractiveness , I like their volcancitos and fanhjta, churros cannot be missed and the cocktails are a festival, we come at least once every 2 months or so

They have a live singer who sang a few Mexican tunes and very good service. The staff could explain the dishes properly. We had a great time and would recommend a Drunch for a lazy Friday. Dont forget to click some pics in the Mexican hats!

Im giving them 1 star as we didnt have good experience here. We went with couple of friends to have dinner. The lady at the entrance took us inside to be seated. We were seating there for more than 15 min no one came up to us for giving menu or any of our server. My daughter was very thirsty and Im constantly looking for someone to assist us. I was surprised how the people working there were walking with their head down stuck to ground and not paying any attention to someone calling. Then finally I went called the lady at the entrance to send someone to help us. She then sent someone to us. We told her we want water first and we order martinis for us and apple juice for my daughter. She went, she came after some time with the drink and not water. I again reminded to her please get some water and we gave her our food order. Finally yeee we got some water. Then after some time we wanted to repeat few items as the portion sizes is amazingly small. I guess its just for u to c and not eat. We again started to look for our server waving our hand but no one is hardly concerned. Finally One server went to one table in front of us and they people out there told the her that can u help them pointing to us that they need something. Ridiculously funny. So all in all I dont think so Im ever going to them again. Food is nothing outstanding same Mexican stuff. I feel experience matters most which we had was pathetic. Hospitality points big zero. Hyatt standards it was a shame. I guess they should work on it.

Everything was so delicious, we ordered fajitas, one chicken and beef, and one prawns and beef. Both were yummy. Also kids taco was nice. Every Tuesday it is taco day, all-you-can eat taco available. All staff are extremely kind and nice, too.

Absolutely pathetic service, servers do not glance in your general direction even if you’re literally stood across them, waving to get attention. The ladies were far too busy cleaning unoccupied tables and disappearing into the kitchen for endless periods of time, rather than looking to serve waiting customers. Average and rather forgettable food at least from what we ordered, where 0 recommendations were made-no one could care less. And after another long and exhausting wait to simply pay the bill, we hit the nearest exit and vowed never to come back. It is beyond my understanding how this restaurant ever won awards back in the day. Dubai has far too many wonderful dining experiences to ever bother wasting time on excuses for hospitality like La Tablita.

I have been a Mexican Cuisine Fan for ages now.This place serves the best Mexican food across Dubai.The venue has a vibrant decor. The menu options are authentic and flavorful.Since the chef and the serving staff are Mexican, they will help you with the must try dishes from the menu. Cindel Rodrigues was super in hosting us at restaurant. She recommended us to have the Empanadas con queso ( her favorite too) filled with fried cheese and guacamole 🥑Delicious chicken pastor quesadilla and the taco pescado - crispy fish rolled in a taco with some red onion an and guacamole.Since no dinner ends without a dessert, we ordered the very famous Tres Leches Cake which was out of the world.Food portions were also good for the price. Definitely making another visit soon too try their weekend Mexican breakfast just for the price at AED 55

A lovely set-up on a terrace outdoors serving drunch on Friday. The team was really warm and friendly. The cocktails were powerful, on point. None of the dishes were labelled so it was a bit of a guessing game. Food is quite limited in choice, quality was fine, but some of the meats were dry which made choices even more limited. Food orders at times got mixed up which I think was because there were no table numbers. For the price you pay, the food choices were just not worth it for me. The highlights for me were the guacamole, baked salmon and crispy chorros.

This place is stunning. It is a tradition taste of Mexican cousine. Food is delicious, very fresh and presentation of the food is just amazing. They also have a great menu of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Staff is extremely helpful, professional and kind. Show is there as well to make it even more enjoyable.

I don’t remember the name though. 😐From the desserts we choose out all time favorite Churros - super delicious &Tres Leches- vanilla sponge cake with jalapeño ice cream.Staff are mostly from Mexico and we got to chat with them. Food was served quickly.We also got to listen to the Mexican birthday song .... the whole staff gathered together to wish birthday to a client there. It was a good experience for us too. We enjoyed it a lot.Thanks for hosting us.

My review is about the Brunch and is the result of too many negatives and not enough positive aspects:- as a set menu brunch, they do not have enough people serving the tables which leads to a very slow service. Even the Chef could be seen waitering;- limited non-alcoholic drink choices, with 3 horrible mocktails out of a list of 4;- no nachos on a Mexican themed brunch?!?!- beef tacos were absolutely dry;- only two deserts;- limited selection of starters with a fish ceviche that wasnt really a ceviche;- main pork sabdwich was a total let down, two pieces of bread, some dry pork meat in the middle, and a jalapeno sauce that wasnt a real sauce, just a way for you not to feel the lack of flavour;+ amazing fish tacos;+ very good guacamole;+ good tres leches cake;And this is why I wouldnt recommend this brunch.

Good music, great staff and amazing ambience. The place is just perfect for a relaxing evening and to spend time with your loved ones. Dont try to forget their amazing cocktails and Tacos

My worst birthday in 37 years! and I owe it all to La Tablita. I give it a star for the food being decent Mexican but the service makes you wish you never came across this name at all. The restaurant was devoid of any crowd, 4 to 5 tables at the most. From the moment I was shown to my table, our group was forgotten or maybe all 8 of us were invisible. It was seriously hard to tell the difference. 20 minutes and no one bothered to take a drink order until we called out. No one cared that we came to eat. We had to resort to shouting across the room that it would be nice to have someone take our order. Each time waiting a ridiculous amount of time and this continues through the night. Our 2nd request for chips and we are told that an (empty restaurant) ran out of chips. Finally the food comes before the chips and the staff is in a hurry to dump the food on our table and run off. I was told how to make a fajita in 5 seconds. Not that I needed it but if you are going to talk, make some effort. Finished eating and again have to wait to spot the staff just so we can get the bill. And to top it all off, my group spoke to 3 people when making the booking over 8 hours in advance that we wanted a small cake to be arranged. Promises were made not to worry about anything. After reaching, a reminder was given to the staff. The cake never came and we are told that the kitchen has closed after seeing another table getting a cake. So thanks for nothing La Tablita and I would strongly suggest picking any random restaurant for a better experience especially on an important night.

Loved the food, only thing is the portion. Like its so small that we need to order 2 portion of each dish for one guy. We have average appetite. Ambience is 5 out of 5, cozy and shaddy where we can spend time peacefully. Service is kind a 3 out of 5. Staff is courteous but delay in getting stuffs like spicy sauce or something, especially where we are middle of the eating our meal. As portion is small, it finish before they get the extra sauces for us.The tase of food is good but as usual restaurants in 5* hotels of dubai serves always blend or less spicy food. Even though its maxican. Otherwise food is good if you add spicy sauce, salt and pepper in it.

The place is amazing, the food is delicious and the service is excellent.Ask for Zaira if you come to this place, she is very friendly and welcoming, same goes for the manager.

Great ambience with amazing food but portion is very small. So be aware when ordering.

Nice Mexican food with original setup and brilliant decorations.Everything was fantastic when we tried the set menu they offer for half/fullboard guests.I gave it 4 stars, as the dessert took very long to arrive, though one dish was ready and the other was chorros.

Great food but probably the WORST service Ive ever seen in a restaurant. We arrived at 9.30pm. The table was with previous clineta leftovera Took them 15m and 3 calls from us to clean the table and got us seated. 9.45pm we were seated. Food takes eternity to come. Sevice came and the rest took about 35m after the seviche. We would order drinks and wait wait wait...Call the waiters and they really dont care. Its now 11.30 and my friends fajitas just arrived. 1.30 after being seated. Its a complete disgrace.

Definitely looking forward to my third time at La Tablita! I recently visited La Tablita and tried the quesadillas + the selection of house beverages. To my surprise a Mariachi band sang me a sweet birthday song. I appreciate the hospitality! Thank you, guys!

Taco is a bit creepy and soggy. Well decoration and looking good but not tasty. Ceviches is recommended. Perfect taste combined with sour. Guacamole is also good to try. Well mixed and blended. Fresh octopus for Pulpo. Nice plates for serving. Service is good and friendly. If you are not familiar with the food, they are welcome to introducing and explaining.

Yummy tres leches. Must try. Other stuff taste wise is fine bt a lil pricey for the quantity.

I had a lovely experience with the restaurant. Its cozy and inviting. Food is good and drinks are refreshing. However, I feel that the place is dark and lack of lighting. I dont see the serving is generous. I can say that food are more of pica food. Overall experience is ok.

A great atmosphere with calm vibes at the beginning then great music and fun karaoke at night! The food is top notch and the staff (Juan and Mariana) are fun and attentive. Its one of the rare Mexican restaurants that actually has Mexican staff, and theyre really helpful when it comes to food selection.

Had friends visiting dubai and were eager to take them to la tablita as we had a beautiful souvenir of the place. Catastrophic!!! the menu has changed and so did the ingredients. Either the chef has changed or he doesnt care anymore about what comes out of the kitchen.-seabass ceviche - some smashed fish in a dark soup, taste wise... lets not even go there.-tuna ceviche - close your eyes and you have no idea whats your eating.-octopus ceviche - as bad as the seabass and i suspect it was the same base too, well tasted the same.-beef fajitas - ahhh the big plate of ognions and with rock hard meat. we still wonder where did the peppers go?-tinga quesadillas - i dont know why we were given cuttlery, we could break the quessadilas with our hands it was that hard. as for what was inside... still a mistery to us... could have been chicken, duck or god knows what.-chapenga quesadillas - i stopped there, i didnt have the heart to challenge how solid my teeth were. i left my friends to try it.on a positive side, the service was great. the lady taking care of us was very nice and helpful. churos were amazing and so were the stella beers.All in all, we left with a sour taste and bill. we will not come back to la tablita sadly. the kitchen has changed, menu did too and that reflects on the food that comes out of it.see you never la tablita, what a pitty!

I went for the tacos buffet, one common strategy is having the food slightly salty to motivate drinking, but when it is more than slightly you ended up without enjoying the real flavor. They have a good selection of garnitures like Mole and Barbara but too salty, please improve this point, Our Mexican Cuisine is the best we have a responsibility to keep it in a high standard. The Agua de Horchata 👍👍👍. Finally the Chile habanero sauce was not picosa. The first time I went I had a very good impression this is why I want back. So keep up the bar, you can do it. By the way the music was perfect 💯, the bemol the availability of the waitresses to get more tacos.
