I reached the clinic at 9am sharp and got a walk in appointment with the GP Dr. Chinnu.The clinic had around 5-7 patients which is not much but the nursing staff has been busy chit-chatting with each other instead of calling patients to check their vitals.Im writing this as Im waiting here right now. It has been 30 minutes on a working weekday and the nursing staff can still be heard standing around chatting instead of doing their work.And just about now a patient who was friends with a nurse was called in before me for vitals checkup despite arriving and registering 10 minutes after me.Ive been visiting this clinic for years only because its very close to my house. Had I another option I would most DEFINITELY NOT visit this place.And yes you could check the cctvs to verify my claims.This is really disappointing service.

Highly disappointed with their service and staff response!A simple COVID test has no process and definitely no staff to assist.No token followed and answer given by staff is - it’s only few minutes so you can wait while we allow other patients in between.. !! well totally my mistake to visit such a clinic where the staff has no respect.One staff for sample collection who is not in the room most of the time ! I have done several tests in Dubai and this has been my worst experience. Their team will just reply a standard scripted response here and won’t care to check on the incident details.

I was at Karama Branch ( Dr Abraham Paul ) orthopedic doctor, had a worst experience of my life in last 10 yrs in Dubai.Doctors attitude is so rude towards the patient ,it’s shocking. I walked away without taking consultation and medical aid since he was not willing to treat me and told me “ that I should have gone to some other hospital instead coming to him. His voice had a rage tone which is not acceptable to me.Surprisingly even after complaining to customer service Dept and receiving assurance to get some feedback on the grievance but no one called back . So unprofessional and really bad. I will keep posting and sharing my negative experiences on all the social media platforms

A special mention about the reception is most important, despite the huge number of patients walking in and the queue in the reception and waiting area, the staffs in the reception were patient, cordial, helpful. I appreciate the reception staff for their patience, support and service, they are doing a tremendous job despite the pressure of handling the customers and multitasking at the same time. It would be nice if the management notices this and takes steps to ease their work adding extra reception staff, it would be both beneficial for the staffs and the customers.

I am very sorry to say that aster clinic is Worst in service , Kerala health staffs are always good and helpful but I don’t know this is the second time we are getting pathetic service from aster Karama . Waiting for RBS report for two days, it’s just a matter of 20 min but taking more than 48 hours. Also nursing service is pathetic at clinic .

I have visited DR. K. JANARDHAN, Ophthalmology dept. at aster clinic, Karama. It was a great relief from my headache with sensitive dry and red eye and eye pain. Still i am on medication but immediately on the follow-up after 3 days I said thank you Dr. It was feeling very comfortable. I find he is very easy going and explains about the process clearly why patient going through this medical condition. I definitely recommend the doctor to all other.

Worst place for Covid testing. Even basic details like name, Emirates ID, Passport number are messed up. For a 9 month infant they have randomly given a date of birth as 29/05/1984. Have to followup multiple times to make corrections. We had travel on the next day. Their answer was illogical and irresponsible. Atleast for the money which they charge they could have a tenth grade passout who can do better data capture than these people. I really suspect if they are really testing for Covid or just like that collecing money and give some rubbish report with incorrect data.

Visited clinic for some medical checkups. Process was very smooth and they were answering each query politely.

Good clinic. You can take the appointment through the website. It will mostly help you. Pcr test rate is now 130 drms only. Good employees.

I had an appointment with the eye specialist on 4th August At 7.15 pm.I had to wait for 40 minutes to find out the receptionist had forgotten to enter my token number……The process takes about 30 minutes of waiting after the eye drops and it would have helped if my token number was not forgotten.

One of the most poorly managed place.I had an (pre) appointment at 5.45pm, I reached at 5.25pm, till 6.25 the doctor didnt see me.Huge rush at the clinic than what they can cater.No one has an answer to the delays.

Dr. Fouzia from the gynaecology department here is excellent! Her treatment didnt just treat me, but healed me. Her step-by-step approach to getting to the root cause rather than prescribing first aid solutions like some practitioners in the same field is as amazing as its rare. She explains things to you in a manner thats reassuring, giving you this mental satisfaction that your well on the path to recovery. UMC as got an outstanding staff Mr. Hafees. He is a very dedicated staff and there are some (nurses)old staffs at UMC they r still the best of my experience.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hospital (and I’ve visited quite a number of public hospitals in third world countries)My employer has signed up for October medical check up with aster and i thought to give it a chance. The admin lady who received me was pleasant and wonderful. Fast forward to the gynaecologist (I may get graphic) this lady doesn’t even greet me- she asks me to get on the table in the other room... she doesn’t sterilize the equipment as I’ve seen in all hospitals I’ve visited for a Pap smear.She is so rough! And rude and immediately decides I need medication! Without running any tests!Post examination, I see the nurse rinse the instrument under running tap water!!!!!!!!! And place it back on the tray!!!!!! By this moment I am certain I’ve adopted some infection from the toolThe doctor says nothing to me after this... just goes on writing on the paper and speaking to the nurse! I have to beg for information! She then asks me reach out to my insurance for other medical tests... My mother raised me well- I nodded and thanked herI felt violated! Felt sick and frankly, I wouldn’t wish that kind of experience to anyone!!Awful awful place!!! Most unprofessional gynaecologist I’ve come across

Worst medical experience of my life. We visited Dr. Jaby Tom Jacob at Aster Karama for my daughters dental check up. He advised to go for a fluoride treatment and recommended a fluoride varnish, and as he just applied that my daughters upper teeth all the front teeth became blackish, he suddenly stopped the treatment and tells me it is done, not answering to my queries on why they became blackish and why he stopped in the middle. Now when I complained to the management, they replied to me saying he applied SDF silver dialine fluoride which completely shocked me, as I was hearing this term for the first time. The doctor neither informed us nor took our consent before taking such a step with my daughter. And now my daughter is left with all her front teeth black and the management replies saying these are milk teeth and will be replaced by permanent teeth. Does Aster even care about patients consent and safety?

Dear Aster Clinic Karma (UMC)It is not my intention to bash the management, but as we have been using Aster service for almost a decade and we still do recommend the same to our friends and family because of the excellent service and management and i consider this as an isolated incident.This happened on 16.02.2021 at 07:45 pm we reached the clinic at this same time for an X-ray session for my sister who was also given a token from the front reception for the same .As we walked and knocked at the X-ray room no#9 it was an unpleasant not welcome feeling as the xray staff/technician was frustrated to see us and complained to us that its already closed and we should have made it on time though it was not 8pm and we still had 5 mins to spare.(Just think about the position where a patient had to feel guilty after a stress full day at work during a week day). So we requested and had plead to allow us in .Finally she agreed and let my sister in but rudely closed the door on my wifes face impatiently, as obviously only the patient is allowed but still we kept our grounds.The episode did not end there my sister was so pressured and given instructions with a very rude tone and attitude while scanning was in process that she had trouble to even put her dress back on properly due the disturbing atmosphere created. Also she was asked to wear her own dress instead of an xray gown.Everything above is forgivable and we understand if the staff wanted to leave home early as as she has her own priorities and we respect that . And please note this whole process hardly took 5 mins, thats how quick she did it. Towards the end also she started asking my sister why did you not come two minutes earlier, now extracting the report will take time!! Which again took less than 2-3 minutes.But what made me really write this review was that while the process was almost over somebody walked into the X-ray room which I believe was her her husband or who ever he is, is not a staff there I assume(or someone else) but however he has access to get in .And she started complaining and ranting the same to that person about the last minute patient (my sister)in her native language (Malayalam) saying that I told these front staff I am closing and they sent this lady. Fortunately we speak the same language, and we were really offenended and hurted by the same. We also logged a complain to the admin team .I kindly request the management to investigate the matter and train the staff properly or else implement a policy where after 07:30Pm no appointments would be given as the X-Ray department department will close at 8PM. Again bashing the management is not my intention as Aster has always been the best but this incident just put us in a weird space and dont want any one else to have the same experience.

Clinic is well equipped and staff is good. More specialty doctors are available. only reason for me to rate 4 Star is because of the traffic sometimes and parking.

Been here many times and the experience has been bad. To visit a doctor, the procedure is too long, and you will waste lots of time. If you go to any other clinic, you can get treated and get your medicines quickly. Aster just wastes your time. The doctors are great and so the nurses. Management is the one wasting our time.

The worst clinic you can ever imagine, you end up spending the whole day over there, staff are too sluggish and lazy and not willing to assist especially the reception staff. Queue is too long and slow staff complicates it more. Its been three days I was told to wait for appointment for scan and blood test however no one from the clinic has contacted me even after calling the customer service line several times for follow up.If you are thinking of a good clinic, not this one .Unacceptable and bad customer service.

Really a very poor service from the front desk.On 13th Nov 2019, I visited this clinic, because my insurance doesnt allow to see specialists directly, need to get approval from general doctor. After I got the approval for the specialist I asked them is it possible to see the specialist today, and they said yes just waiting for the approval. I waited there for almost 2 hours and finally I got the approval (07:51 pm). then they said you cannot see the doctor because he not taking anymore patient. I told them, timing for the doctor is till 08:00 pm, how can he close before that. And clinic people cant want to give me any proper reason.And this is not acceptable. This is the service you are providing to public.You need to give it in a good way.Need to give front desk staffs a good training.

We consulted at their Karama clinic and the doctor referred us to take a early pregnancy test along with double marker blood test ; because of the worst response from their customer service , it took us more than 10 days to get an appointment. As soon as we arrived there , they asked us to pay money first for the test without even consulting with the doctor ( that test has to be done before 14 weeks of pregnancy , and we were already in 15 th week because of their delay ) . Doctor informed us that the blood sample will not be sent to the lab and we can take our refund back . I was following up literally for 10 days to get appointment for the scan . Do you think we will ever be refunded ????

I visited this branch along with my colleague, Ms. Jehad, on 13th Oct at 6.10pm. who was suffering from severe headache. We consulted the docter who advised us for a blood test. The nurse who took the blood sample was really very rude to one of my question related to the sample, which I believe was really unprofessional.

She may have become Dr but failed to be a human.I visited this clinic before and I was happy with there decent service, this time I am extremely disappointed in how they have address your issue.I had my wife suffering with high fever and she was denied to be consolidated by a Dr ( do not wish to disclose HER name ) just because there was 16 more patient in queue and her ends at 10.00 PM. We were just denied and recommended to visit hospital for high fever.They should at least have 2 Dr when there are 16 more patience in queue.

Very poor all that I can say especially Dr Paulson chalipeserry (GP). Yesterday I visited aster clinic in karama front desk staff are very nice and so helpful they issued token very early to wait and I waited almost 1 hr 30 mins after long wait when my turn came I went to doctor’s room. As a medical professional (pharmacist) I know what problem I have but my surprise he didn’t ask much questions about problem for say “if I say fever he didn’t ask me since how many days you having fever” . I won’t question his knowledge but all I can yell is if you are not interested to work on holidays don’t come. Finally ended up by wasting my 2hrs time just to collect otc medicines which I can take myself better than him.When I ask about sick leave as it is uncomfortable to attend the patients since I’m pharmacist he refused to grant leave for 2 days and blabbering in his own language.

If you have time to spent A whole day in the clinic, then this is the best option. Doctors are good but the whole process takes long time starting from registration.

Been to karama aster couple of times and seen worst queues there longing till doors. No proper management of appointments are dealt with. They are very inhumane towards employes couple of time i have seen there employees leaving at 12 and see the same person during early morning. I wonder when do they even sleep. This even shows they dont have proper management techiniques just a business oriented centre when they shows the pleasant face to us. If you cant show humanity towards emoloyees how are they suppossed to treat patients. Employees walk there exposed to various diseases without any prevention. Usually fixes appointment at 10 and sees doctor at 12. Will never recommended here

Worst!! you dont even deserve even a single star. I was there 9:45 pm because in the website 11pm is their closing time. They denied me of service because they said doctors are leaving at exactly 10pm and they have 15 more waiting list.!! how can they accomodate 15 people in less than 15 mins before doctors will leave? 1 min per patient?i was begging them i have a terrible headache and i just need medicine to get through the night or even pain killer. i almost cry to the receptionist i went there with only my pajamas on. they told me to go to the hospital. 🤦‍♀️i hope this people dont have loved ones that will get the same treatment as they are giving. you dont deserve peoples trust and money!

Appointment token machine never works. I have tried in my last 3 appointments. Whats use of appointment if i want to stand in walk-in queue? Complete waste of time. GP Doctor wrote medicine without diagnosed reason due to that insurance rejected prescription.

Aster is the worst clinic I have ever seen and they literally play with your health and make it lengthy and complicated because of their own interests.. They see you as an opportunity not as a patient. And they dont even deserve a single star but Im left with no option.. My message to all patients better look for some good clinic who really cares for you.. After all Health is the most important thing which you cant even buy.

One of the good place to see a doctor. Was reading some review about the waiting time, my take to that is if there are a lot of patients are waiting for a consultation, that means that doctor has much of patient, if a doctor is having more patient that means that the doctor is good. Right? Doctors are prescribing medicines that was not covered by the insurance? I experience that. My take to that: Insurance usually dont cover expensive and good medicines, they usually covers low-end and secondary medicines. Having said that this clinic is in the heart of Karama area, the ambiance awesome!

Very bad service, if you speak their language you get things done easily. I was waiting for a ophthalmologist consultation, the token specified 2 patients before, waited for more than a hour but never get chance to meet. Nurses were pushing without calling numbers. I was so upset because my daughter was sick and made her to wait with me, in-spite of her difficulties. After 1 hour patiently I waited and when I asked, the admin saying cooly it will come sir wait. Never Again worst service as ever.

I consulted Dr Paulson on 1st april with 37 degree fever and body pain. I had a lump in my body and i kept talking about it. He paid no attention. After two days temperature was 38 and i consulted the clinic three times in 4days. Third time i again told him how painful it is and showed him my report which stated crpc is 11.68. He didnt even see my report and my consultation ended in mere 2minutes after waiting for 2hours and he said i am ok.Again i attended another clinic and i was referred to general surgeon for surgery. I am writing this review from Kerala as i left uae on an emergency leave as i lost trust on doctors there.Please pay attention to your patients no matter how experienced you are Mr Paulson! It might not be a matter of sick leave certificate!I had huge respect for Aster as your ernakulam one saved my brothers life and my relatives are doctors there. Some people doesnt look sick even when they are.. without even seeing the lump you just suggested me ciprofloxacin... and tomorrow i am undergoing surgery because your doctor didnt even notice my pain once... my health, continuos sick leave for over two weeks and the trauma you face when you are alone away from your homeland.. Aster UAE, never again...I work for another pharmaceutical retailer and we are taught customer is our king, pay attention to their nèeds.. pathetic service

Yesterday we went to ASTER CLINIC Karama for consult we patiently we waited in Queue from 7:35 pm to 8:10 pm only 3 person in front of me.* Arrange a token mechine for registration of new customers.We got token w 523 at 8 :13 pm. At that time receptionist select one doctor as a GP.She never said this doctor may take these much time, she can refer the doctor which have very low booking.Nothing she did. Only this reason we waited more than three hours.Only this reason we were hate the aster for next reference and consult.Regards.MOHAMMED

First off these people are absolute gold diggers - They are going to make you wait 3-4 hours for a job that is about 15 minutes. Personally I was going to go see an opthamologist and they check my weight, height and even ethnicity, like how on earth does that relate to my eye! After 30 minutes they do a regular eye checkup for an odd 20 minutes. After this unusual hour you would think that this overly complicated procedure is finished but no there is more to the tail. After another 20 minutes I get called by another doctor and apparently the previous one was his assistant. He does the exact same things the previous one did but with eye drops (15 mins to take effect) just to clarify everything. After this monotonous 2 hours the bill was a whopping 240 aed. In conclusion this was by far the worst clinic I have ever been to with a 30-45 minute waiting period for the unfortunate.From another unsatisfied customer

Even after taking an appointment and being advised to come in 10 mins prior, I visited this clinic 15 mins prior only to find that I have to stand in a queue of about 10 people before me, some taking about 7 to 10 mins at the counter. I was well past my appointment time and still had 5 people before me...Cant understand the logic. Why is there no separate registration desk for appointments? .....not a very pleasant experience.No proper guidance as to which doctor sits in which BUILDING/Block. So if u are in the wrong block, you have to start at the back of the queue when u finally get to the right place!!!!And this system is going on for years I suppose......

Reception Philipino lady in evening are not helpful , receptionist should be very good . She is not interested to assist and support in a helping way .philipino lady Just want to finish the work . After meeting her we decided to go to different clinic .

Very good treatment and service from the clinic

One of the best Aster clinics in Dubai. You find few good doctors there. Specially Dr. Leela, gynecologist, is really well known and experienced for infertility medications and also several others including Dr. Vijaya Narasappa, & Dr. Paul, General Medicine are good. Only issue here is their call center which is very poor. Sometimes even if you hold listening to Aster commercials for more than 10 minutes no one responds to the call. Here I’m talking about calling them during working hours. This is has happened to me 4-5 times in past. Aster team please consider this for the betterment of this particular clinic.

Worst of service. Firstly half of their GPs dont have bookings while other half close talking walking different time a day. Further they are promoting medicines which I never heard in my life and not covered by insurance. So pay full but medicine doesnt work maybe we are samples. Further when complaints they intentionally give a number which would never pick... patient suffers and goes to another clinic. Maybe dr. Mopen should stop increasing clinic and reconcentrate on quality otherwise its just a trial n error shop and not health care.

Staffs in the reception are very rude specially the Filipino guy named Jericho,,, how dare him to talked to me that I’m okay,,please note this,,, with a high note and just walked away!!! OMG!!! they didn’t even take the temperature of the patient!!! Hellooooo????is this a clinic or what???they are not organized!!! The doctor just gave me the medicine confidently without checking the history of my allergens😔😔😔when I googled the medicine that he prescribed for me, I found out that It may harm my body because It contains penicillin!!! Appreciate if someone will take time to call me and I will tell the whole story!!!

Its been completely very dissapointing service specialy the doctor Paulson Chaliserry Joseph who assist us during our visit. We wait for about 1& half hour to check my wife’s high fever, then when are turn comes, another patient is inside already in the doctors room and I think that is his college. When we enter the room the doctor said wait outside again, so just to check I ask the token number of the guy whos inside and we discovered that his token number is next to our number which is not RIGHT. (Our token number is 527 and the other is 528.) sobI ask the Doctor is that right or wrong? And the Doctor is keep saying that we are not here when he call our token which I believed its not true and still the monitor saying 527 turn not 528..this incident is not a small issue and I am hoping Aster management take some action of this matter..Very dissapointing service from the Doctor (Paulson Chaliserry Joseph)

One of the Excellent Aster clinic branch .The staff was so polite and smiling face. Especially Receptionist Mr. ESSAM and Sister .KUCHIRANI so helpful,i visited three or four time.doctor, professional, knowledgeable, Excellent and friendly. Dr. Riyaz Usman ,Dr. Varsha Arun and Dr. Janardhan Thank you all of you Doctors I am feeling Healthy and happy. Thanks you ! Aster for treating me well.

Hii, I have been following up for x ray report for my daughter to be sent to me. I have called over phone and was promised in one hour. I waited for one day and when i did not receive i went there to request in person. They again informed me they will send by email. I have tried the landline so many times and nobody picks up. On contacting call center there is no progress. i was looking to get her treated there but now will change my mind. Very very poor service.

Worst clinic , Doctors are commercial driven and dont treat their profession as a noble profession.One such example is of Dr Leela Manjiri as my wife visited her for Treatment and she is purposely prescribing medicines which are not covered in the Medical Insurance and trying to charge the consultation on us.Please avoid this doctor completely!!!

Yes, less queue on patients but poor service!!! They work like robots. Even the general doctor (good for him I forgot his name) did not say anything. Just gave prescription, thats it. Didnt even suggest what to do or what to eat..

Pathetic ,disgusting and worst customer care. The least they could do is stick to their words(return the call back request). And expecting a comforting message over is a no acceptance of keeping your say “We will Treat You well”.

Do the pediatrics at Aster know how to understand a kids problem ...no one has patience ..all pediacs are too busy to listen to the problem . quick action quick service seems to be their way...pediac tries to scare the kid and apprehend them rather than understanding what thier problem is . Its not the first pediac of Aster three different clinics three different docs all the same ...hygiene is appreciated but when interacting with a toddler dont scare them by wearing unfriendly masks and gloves and behaviour is that of jail wardens than that of doctors...better visit a doctor who has patience !! Many a time its not the medicine that cures but the assurance and positive vibe that cures..medicines can even be suggested by pharmacists and google you visit a doctor to get answer to the problem..but here they have no time to listen. such great vision by the management let down by their team !!

Worst service by anumapa. If there is only -negative rating here i would put a negative rating. I never expect a service with aster by this kind of behavior of the staff. She quoted “ she just taken a package” so what? So pathetic! Please see through this staff and kindly retrain her. This kind of employee is an utter disgrace to your esteemed company.

Very poor service at reception as well as their booking no. 044400500 is a waste.To book an appointment with any dr. We should employ one person with salary to keep dialing that crap no.It always responds the no. Is busy.Very pathetic.They intentionally keep d line busy.True professionals will find a way out to keep the line available atleast in few times try by the client.Worse experience i should say.
