Must visit when in Dubai, a fascinating mix of colours, sights with ambient sounds of tourists haggling, and traders trying to temp with exotic spices or Oudh perfumes. Enjoy bartering with the traders, and never accept the first price. Pace yourself as its a huge place and and carry a bottle of water as can get very warm.
Amazing variety of spices. If you know what you want this place can be your havenIf you are just browsing a great place to learn about new spices
Today I have visited the Spice souq and Gold Souq. I was very excited to discover these hidden gems in Dubai. And Since my mom needed some herbs, what better place to go than the Dubai’s Spice souq. The place is amazing with all these aromas and spices scents and the colors. But there was some pushy salemen that try to sell you anything.Through my search, I have found Mohammad an spice specialist as he says, he was very kind and not pushy, and offered me some dates with chocolate. Thier store is literally a magical place for every individual who loves spices. I have bought from him some relaxing tea and herbs as well as saffron. His manners and prices were very nice and I promised him to write about him online. His store name is (YOUNIS STORE) is directly opposite to the Ferry.
Fascinating. Take a walk round. Traffic is difficult as most streets are one way. Lot of activity and interesting. V hot today so drink plenty of water
VERY NICE POPULAR AND GREAT TRADITIONAL MARKET. Love to be there. VISITORS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO VISIT ONCE. LOVELY TRADITIONAL MARKET😊
It’s so nice to be here every time I come to Dubai one of my best favorites place to be
A lot of fun. People are always trying to get you to buy but we had a good time. It was so cool for us from Israel to buy spices in Emirates from a shop clerk from Iran. Amazing.
Simply stated, its practically overwhelming. There were spices from everywhere and people from nearly all walks of life in the market. Be prepared for the traders as they are very likely to tempt you with all manner of offers. Great prices, great variety and an exciting opportunity to engage in the process of haggling.
Tourist oriented place.Haggle and bargain.I asked about sandals, shopkeeper asked for 450. Ended up buying it from him for 40.
Entry to colorfull world .. this is who i can describe in one line.
Beautiful place. The aroma of spices
Excellent market for spices from different parts of the world.

What a market economy lots exotic Herb you can explore Best spices SOUK
Its an iconic market specially for spice and one of the old souk called Bandar Taleb Area.its a historic and heritage too.one of the most visited tourists.
A different experience with lots of spices and old hand crafted gifts.
Nice place for tour and shopping from old SouqSome difficulty in parking slots and traffic
This the biggest places in dubai of spices market and olso there is many tourist visiting and olso residents. To pay a deferent itames
This is a big area with lots of tiny lanes branching off in all directions, each of them full of shops selling spices, perfumes, incense, souvenirs, art works, clothes, utensils, metal works, jewellery, carpets and what not. You can enter 2 ways - from Al Ras Metro Station side or from Deira Old Souk Abra Station. Therere a lot of interesting things to see here but it can get confusing with all the lanes, noise and crowds. Best plan is to take it slow, look around and follow Google Maps :-). There are not many spice shops - most of them sell anything they can - but whatever is on display is quite interesting. Beware of persistent vendors, who will keep howling in your ears, just ignore them. If you choose to buy something, make sure you bargain hard.
Great place to get exotic spices.
Very nice place to visit....
Never go here if you’re an tourist. You’re time and money are better spent elsewhere. The prices are out of this world. You want perfume, 1500 AED. Scarves, 400AED. Insanity. Its a tourist trap for being hustled and shook down. Cool pictures, sure, but you better enjoy being shouted at to buy exorbitantly overpriced products.
Its a good place to buy variety of spices. Its a visual delight too to watch so many spices stacked together, so photographers go click it 😉.
All the spices available at the best price
Loved the place.v traditional look of market with wide variety of spices.
Easy to locate with a variety of options for spices and dry fruits... Parking is the only challenge you will face if you are driving
Beautiful destination to walk into. Stores are surreal and colorful. Its a whole other world for all the senses.
Oldest market in dubai, Must visit place when you come to dubai,
Cool place, its also near the sea you can enjoy walking there, you can take Abra boat to the other side of the creek
Good old version market
Shops are not much available, many are closed at this time. Maybe because its Friday.
Very calm but the people were pushing to much
Great for tourists, a bit annoying the harassment can get a bit to much, we go for the chai and pakoras 😋
You can find cheap price for best quality food products
If you like old places u should go there.
The smell of spices u can feel it long way back
Old traditional market, you have to bargain a lot, very limited parking, use Al Reaas metro station.

Everything your looking for is there.
Not a great landmark.
Its best place to visit
Amazing... you will get all spices in Souk.
I love the place , the bazaar, and the general look and feel, however the prices are higher than most of the supermarkets in Dubai which is not right.
U will get all herb spices
It was traditional that portraits culture of uae
Touts paradise, very pushy sellers. Just go for a walk but dont stop.
If you are Iranian and you have not been to Iran for a long time, I suggest you go there to feel the smell of Iranian perfumes again. Of course, you (except Iranians) should go there to get more acquainted with the interests of Iranians people.
One stop for all kind of spices

Nice heritage and old market
Best bargains. A must on every visit. Spices Galore and best choices of nuts
Joss
The souk comprises several narrow lanes which are lined with open and closed-roof stores.Stores in the Spice Souk sell a variety of fragrances and spices from frankincense and shisha to the many herbs used in Arabic and South Asian food. In addition, several household, textiles, incense, rugs and artifacts are also sold in the Spice Souk.A majority of the trading occurs through haggling. The quantity of trade as well as the number of stores trading spices in the Spice Souk have been significantly reduced in recent years due to the growth larger stores and supermarkets and the number of household stores has incredibly gained.
Good
Had to leave, people constantly badgering you to buy. You can’t just say no either as they follow you, try to put things in your hands on your head etc. It’s complete chaos, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Amazing place.
Please note that
Honey is best
Wonderful experience and atmosphere
Best spices ever
Issue the parking.
I remembered turkey instantaneously. Authentic bazaar. Negotiate and check at 2-3 places before buying.
Should visit the souk, having lots of spices and traditional fragrances

Good
My favorite place when the weather is good ... seeing all those tourists enjoying the old Dubai
Super
Interacting place and people
Good selection of spices
Tourist trap, but a reasonably nice one at that.
Don’t go. There are too many fakes items and tried to make fraud to the traveller.
Well maintained and must visit
Nice
It is a tourism spot. Tourists frequently visit this area for sightseeing. Neighbourhood to a wholesale market, it is usually expensive around here for outsiders.
