One of the most elegant shisha place in Dubai but not only because the food was really awesome. A perfect place to watch the mixture of locals and westerns met. I am not shisha smoker but the places was packed with people smoking. At the end of the day, the customer service was great and very attentive workers while we were being served.Cheers,BN

I’ve been at courtyard Manzil downtown so far 3 times.They have the Best food, best service, and best Shisha.I love the layout of the place. Staff are very friendly.I could forget myself there staying for whole afternoon and evening. The atmosphere is amazing even if your are there just by yourself.They have really good afternoon tea package and the Sabaho breakfast for only 99AEDIf you are there for lunch break you can ask about the business lunch, my friend tried it I haven’t.

Amazing atmosphere, could sit for hours and catch up with a friend! Service was slightly slow but we went at a peak time on a Thursday evening.One of the best Kunafa I have ever had !!! So light and delicious, will definitely be back for it again 😍

A small yet very beautiful and central restaurant within Manzil Downtwon which offers tasty food and both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I highly recommend having the Kunafa, its really nice just how its supposed to be.

It’s a very amazing and relaxing place.You can have snacks or some delicious food also.Then you can enjoy your Shisha (Hookah) it’s so nice and tasty.With a fruit juice or soft drinks it will be amazing.

Great place, nice atmosphere as most of time busy and soft lighting adding to it. Cocktail drinks need improvement as below average in quality. Seat could be more comfy.

A group of 6-8 close friends gather to wind down on average 3 days a week. Weve been loyal customers since 2013. Today, we encountered an ordeal with the worst manager Ive ever dealt with. Tonight, we were impolitely denied a table at The Courtyard. Their manager has no tiny clue what hospitality and customer service are! we were kicked out in a way that no high class restaurant would ever do. Their manager that goes by the name of Omar treated us in a such an inhumane way that I would never consider visiting or recommending them to anyone. He treated us as if we want free service. He mockingly mentioned that he studied in Switzerland which I have no idea why he brought it up.

QR code doesnt work and waitress doesnt want to attend us. She said she will ask another waiter to attend and he denying there is no actual menu. After 10 mins he bring the menu and when we ask about does steak come with any sides. He was very rude staff he was pointing menu and raise voice saying there is sides and there is sauce you can order. There check, pointing again. Very horrible service. We stand up and we went out. We will never come again.

The service in this lounge is not great. You really dont feel the 5 stars experience. Not even 4 stars.You just feel the 5 stars prices :)

It is a great disappointed to see how the quality has gone down to a level where one cannot even sit. The experience starts right from the valet where is there is no one to park your car.The place is totally unhygienic with dirty tables and smoke everywhere. Please avoid the place and management needs to take action and fix health and safety issues.

Horrible experience. Will never return. I actually just paid for my water and left immediately. QR code menu did not work and staff said to refresh wifi, all 4 of us could not access the online menu. The paper menu came with delay, after saying thwt it was not available. When asking advise on the steaks the waiter Ruben nervously reacted pointing the finger repeatedly on the paper menu. At that point we all left. Never ever again.What an evening!!

I have been at Manzil Hotel for a while and been to The Courtyard three times. First I went i had to wait 30 minutes to be spoken to for a table. Staff walked around me but didnt bother to help me. I raised it and was helped properly by the manager.Second time my experience was better. And the shisha was good.Today was my third visit. Service started well. The food was really good but the shisha was waste of my money. I had to keep waiting to call the shisha guys for charcoal, it was one of the worst shisha I ever had. I called the shisha guy a few times but he just put charcoal and ran away. He didnt even bother fixing it.Its a nice place, nice atmosphere but service is usually slow and for some reason some staff select who they want to give EXTRA service to.So not the place to smoke a nice shisha. Very disappointing.

Good place to have drinks and Shisha - sometimes service is slow tho.

If u not into loud music, and like peaceful, relaxing atmosphere this place is for you. Perfect for wine and bites at the evening. And night illumination brings some magic to it✨

The QR code is not working and they dont have paper menu. The waiter is very unprofessional and has attitude that we ended up walking out..

The food and ambiance is amazing, the only thing missing was the service. The manager is on the phone the whole time and they do not have enough staff for the number of guests.

Food and ambiance are really nice. Very good quality. The beers on the other hand were. Ot very cold when the waiters brought them, we had to ask for a bucket with ice to make them colder and they dont have draft beers available. The waiters are a little slow but they try their best to be nice. Its one of the few places you can smoke shisha and have drinks so cant complain that much.

The place have a nice seating, the service though needs alot of attention and improvements, you will be so lucky to get a waiter attention and they are not very clear about their closing times, we were told at the begining they close at 3 since we arrived at 1 so we expected to have an uninterrupted seating for at least and hour and half, but then we were told that last order is at 1.30 which mean you can do nothing except of seating afterwards

Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. We ordered 3 hot mezzes and 3 cold mezzes, tea and sheesha. Its great for hanging out and its nice because even though it is outside, its still covered. The menu is on the pricier side but again, the atmosphere is worth it.

The courtyard is open til 6:00 am and Shisha served til 3:00 am. This will remain my choice for shisha and now for some quick bites too. The service was better than excepted since it was completely full.

I have visited the courtyard many times and absolutely love it! From the food quality, to the service and the ambience. The staff is kind and attentive, including the shisha team. I cannot remember his name but one of the shisha guys saw me sitting alone and we did strike up a conversation and a laugh: he actually took time to interact with me, which is rare to find. I have tried various items on the menu and loved them all. They also do the Moroccan tea just the way I like it, and always ask me how it is after the first sip to ensure it is up to my satisfaction. The manager is always present on the floor, you can see him interacting with all guests and he also came to my table each time to make sure I was ok. It is a great relaxing place, and one of my favorites in Dubai.

Very disappointing service. No one welcomed us at the door to find us a table, after waiting for a few minutes we decided to enter and find ourselves a table.After we found one, we were told that table was reserved so we moved to another one.Shisha quality was not good and we had to prompt them a few times.Menu was a piece of paper in very bad conditions, the menu sheet was creased, as if it was used and recycled. No menu QR code available for scan. Definitely not following COVID-19 measures.Ordered the cheese Zaatar and the chocolate fondu. Cheese Zaatar was dry and hard. Feedback given to the waiter, we only received a smile back and we were asked if we wanted to take-away.20 minutes later, as the fondu never arrived, the waiter informed us that the order was not on the system... 30 minutes later the fondu never arrived as they forgot again. Finally the fondu was given as a take-away.I’ve been coming to this place since 2008 and it was sad and disappointing to see what it is meant to be a 5 star service, falling below the acceptable standard.

Visited two times already during this week for iftar and I liked the place for its friendly and attentive staff, buffet with a good selection of dishes and outside sitting in a chilled out atmosphere. Also very busy after iftar and full of shisha lovers.

Worst experience I had the last years.- Long waiting time for almost everything-> I asked three times for tissues-> Serve a coke took 20 almost 20 Minutes-> Serve the Food (Only Chicken Wings and Clubsandwich) took around 45 Minutes- Unfriendly service from many waiters, like they removed the Shisha while I hold it in my hand while i was smoking or the waiter took my lighter without asking because another guest needs fire for his cigar.- Food Quality:-> Chicken Wings tastes like a bottle of vinegar-> French Fries was salty as hell-> Chicken on the Clubsandwich was dry and without any tasteThe Shisha is quite good but seems like thats the only thing.

The courtyard is one of the best places for food and shisha. Service is excellent. I had the pleasure of being served by Rubin and Bijaya great which was a 5 stars service. Coming there again for sure

The ambience of the courtyard is just beautiful. The design and the fountains are like a fairytale.Now, to the reason I could not rate this place 5 stars. The food is just ok. The meat was not very tasty and the hummus was a little bland. The tabboule however was made perfectly.The service here was terrible. I dealt with several waiters with an attitude problem and ultimately had to ignore the initial issues because I didn’t feel the need to stoop down to their level. I did not know the service at a reputable hotel could be so bad.

Food and service was excellent. Shisha was very good. Lovely setting.

Currently the Courtyard is NOT what you would expect or the website does suggest.It now extends the Manzil Sports Bar and kind of lost it’s ambience and shine.No tasty Lebanese food, but still nice sports bar typical stuff.Hope the old Manzil Courtyard returns soon, with its glamour and good crowd....

The food was great, we had a lamb biryani and butter chicken. Service was good, our waiter was Bijay.

The place is full of smoke and there is no exhaust. The management does not care about customer service. Even the tea tasted like hot waterI seriously hope the management can take action and at least take care of health issue.

Ordered shisha at 6:30pm it took exactly 40mins to be served to us and the drinks too 15mins the issue was not the timing but the number of waiters and waitress passing by our table as if we don’t exist honestly I give a one coz it’s my opinion .the courtyard needs to improve on the customer service being my first time I don’t thing I’ll ever come back their coz of the service .

The manager here is the problem, we come here almost daily. The amount of money spent I cant even tell you. No respect towards regulars or feedback. Constantly blasting Arabic music every night. Even the waiters are complaining to us about him. There are nights we come in and they are playing beautiful jazz bossa nova relaxing music. Most of the guests like this music to be relaxed as the courtyard is a very relaxing place. The manager however doesn’t seem to understand this concept. He chooses to go against most of the guests requests and blast Arabic music loud and on repeat. Keep in mind Im an Arab myself but this is out of control. Higher management needs to get involved.

Brilliant venue with helpful an attentive staff. Food was excellent...as a non smoker the only issue was the smoke but as this is a different culture we accepted it. The staff were understanding and located us as best as they could to minimise this

Amazing place to escape the city!

One of my favourite hang outs in Dubai. Its on my doorstep in Downtown so an easy place for me. Generally the service is good, the food is always as expected and, my kids tell me, it has one of the best Shishas in Dubai. A good mix of people and nice to see regular staff so you can build a relationship with them. Service can be a little slow when they are very busy. You may need to wait for a table on weekends. They also offer Gluten Free rolls, so if youre Coeliac, like me, order these with your hummus or other dishes.
