We are regular customer of Hapag restaurant and we used to park at the basement ever since. We usually notice that the security guard is quite aggressive with mo reason at all. Even though we are very courteous and friendly , we never receive greetings at all. We dont expect the security guards to be extra friendly but at least be courteous to feel that we are welcome as guests of this hotel. If not because of the good service of the restaurant, we dont feel patronizing the hotel anymore.

Recently visited the hotel for a private onam function. Loved the onam sadhya. Food was 10/10.Could improvise in the washroom facility and customer service at the entranceThe service at the food counter was best and friendly.

This review is not regarding my stay. But got insulted.Ive applied for the post of Receptionist here. Today i got a call from the team and my interview was fixed on coming Saturday. The lady who called told me that I will receive the location in my Email. But I didnt received and hence I called the same number which the lady called me. The Receptionist transferred my call to the HR and her response was rude. She told I will check, I held for a while and she disconnected my call without saying a word. I tried once again. Now one Malayali guy who doesnt even know how to speak politely answered and told we didnt called you. Bye..!! Disconnected. To that man, Im not a beggar, I didnt called you to beg for a job. I wonder how these type of people comes in Hospitality Industry.For a job seeker every one will be so excited while we got a call from the employer. But this is strange. Insulting like anything!!

Very good hotel . It has a very Polite, kind. And hardworking housekeeper...Salman is the hardest worker that I haver see..he does a very neat and cleaning. free wifi is available and very good room service

Location of the hotel is a big plus. Since its my company accommodation, I dont have much to say here as Im not paying anything for the service.Pros: Location, Good Indian food, decent room size.Cons: Sound proofing could be improved.

I often stay in Howard Johnson when in Dubai for work the staff is really friendly and helpful and the suite is very spacious. Try butter chicken and butter naan it is so far the best I tried!

Good evening ..everything was good in my stay me and my husband enjoyed but one problem the night shift security in the parking is not good he feel us we r in wrong place he is from Pakistan name wisal he try to flirt with me when he saw me alone in car and the way he talk to us like we are baggers he dont respect us we ask him how to go to lobby he said dont disturb me and find it can u imagine this is how security treat guests in hotel...am upset coz ofthat security and I hope hotel will do something about it I give you 1 star the reason is that security....

Actually we visited hotpot unlimited food dinner It was fantastic, Excellent, Super,, 45/- per person fresh serving, hotpot soup, spring roll, Golden bun, fried rice , Noodles, Prawn grilled, Beef grilled, chicken boneless grilled and many more unlimited serving, AlHamdulillah.

A good hotel situated at heart of Dubai. Well maintained rooms and staff are really helpful and kind. The food is also better and one can have wide variety of options from Indian to Continental in breakfast. Local market is in walkable distance. Also there’s a night club inside hotel and a Chinese restaurant which I found to be has good taste. Ambience is where this hotel disappoints you nonetheless the hotel is goto option for a longer stay as a tourist in Dubai.

This place is good but not a very good

Difficult to get there as road under construction.

The location is perfect with sea ports as a front view. Its close to the markets, a mere 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. The staff is very helpful and informative. Food is delicious and had two amazing varieties of continental and Indian buffet during our stay. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Very hygienic. Theres a small gym at the rooftop and is perfect for a quick workout session.

This is in response to Shannen Kelly who took the time to respond to my comments and concerns. Despite the appreciation to your time and effort, allow me to tell you that I have taken videos and pictures of the bed bugs and the rusty water and all are saved as I knew it was easy to deny my concerns.And as for the government regulations, all respect to them my concern is the hotel practices. If the concerned were working effectively and efficiently, the guests would have no way come up to the room without having communicated with the reception earlier. It is due to non-presence of someone almost everytime they had come over.

Excellent Services

Its a value for money hotel. What you pay is that you get. Having said that, this hotel is well placed in city. You can travel to main attractions using metro which is nearby. Staff is polite and helpful. They do have decent options for breakfast, its just that food is not upto the mark when compared to options with similar price range. I was here with my family, and we spent most of our time visiting places. Overall, my experience was good.

Excellent Hotel . Though we arrived at midnight , hotel staff gave us the room immediately though check-in time was 2pm. Hotel staff was very helpful with sightseeing places and helped a lot.Best breakfast available in DubaiLook forward to visiting again

The stay was pretty good. They gave us a good view room. My room had a view of the Bur Dubai creek. They could improve on their quality of buffet breakfast. Also I really need to suggest the management that they could have some more polite people at the front desk. Not everyone here is soft spoken. All and all our stay was fine. No complaints as such.

It is an okay Hotel. But there are a lot better Hotels in Dubai. Location is not the best. The staff is friendly. When the Club inside the Hotel is open it is very loud in your rooms from the music.

Very well located in the heart of the city, Dubai. Great breakfast. Courteous staff.One thing that I did not like was they charged 500 Indian rupees for accidentally breaking one drinking water regular glass kept in the hotel room. We had 5 rooms. Only one glass was accidentally broken.Sir, I affirm, 480/00 Indian Rupees was charged for breakage of one glass. My Indian mobile no can be shared if needed. Please check in Cc TV footage.

Nice hotel. Could be good for budget travelers. Not too much parking lot but liked the Valet Parking for free. The area around is not much to discover or near to any attractions. Rooms are clean and beds are comfort. Facility is just fine.

Though valet parking is offered, be prepared for long waits both to have over and retrieve your ride. The staff are helpful and polite. Rooms are comfortable and neat, without doubt. Food is reasonably good, try cold pasta salad.

Hotel is good with good atmosphere and staffs. Its restaurant is also great. I liked its Indian breakfast. Everyday it has different items and its cuisine is inspired from whole India. Its location is also great as Meena Bazar is near.

Stayed here for about five days on a Thomas Cook package tour. It is located at a very important part of Dubai, very much accessible but very peaceful locality.The hotel is very elegant and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with a good view of the cruise ships usually docked in the port across the road.The staff are polite and efficient and reliable all the time.Breakfast has Indian and continental varieties and guests are spoiled for choice.A very happy experience to stay in this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much so I always ensure to get a room here whenever I visit. I dont know if its me or something but I find that whenever we visit and its not Howard Johnson, the experience is never the same.Service was on point. Staff were friendly and helpful too. The rooms were spacious enough and came with free WiFi. This hotel is so central to the Dubai city and you can easily access the Dubai Mall (less than 10 mins drive) or any other smaller malls within the neighborhood by just strolling down the street.And the food here is so amazing. The buffet breakfast is literally to die for. We will definitely revisit in 2020.

Had lots of fun while staying at Howard Johnson. The staff is very co-operative and friendly with great hospitality. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is a delight with both indian as well as continental cuisine choice. I would rate it as an excellent choice with good location.

The best thing about this hotel is its affordability , the prices as compared to other hotels in Bur are very competitive , though the rooms are small but quite comfortable , staff is hospitable and the food is above average but the best part about food is that they serve large varieties in Indian cuisine.

My stay in Howard Johnson is commendable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The house keeping staff are also very good, greeting us all the time, making the room clean everyday which is what made the room stay in the night a relaxing one after a tiresome day. The variety of continental and Indian breakfast they had everyday is highly commendable. Also the hotel is very near to the Meena bazar and the Gold souk which is around 10 - 15 mins far by walk. Over all our 5 days stay in the hotel was a comfortable one. Thanks to the entire staff for the good service.

A nice budget hotel located in Bur Dubai with all the facilities around such as the city centre, Meena bazar, bus station etc.

Thumbs up to the room service. Rooms are neat and clean. The breakfast buffet is really good, especially the non-veg section. Front office staff could be a little more responsive and friendly.

I’m giving it excellent rating because of very cooperative and helpful staff. We checked in on 26th July and left on 29th. Clean & comfortable rooms. Just to improve the toiletries line, great room service and good food. Comfortable in many ways. Will love to stay again there

The walls are thin. I woke up in 6:00 by the noise of the man in the room next door was vomitting. Too disgusting.Room clear threw away my 2 new tabaaco boxes. Thank you so much I cannot give tabacco to my friends as a souvenir anymore!Also, when I checked in, I found the fridge in the room was not working, and there were no items. However, when checking out, the reception doubted me like I drunk all of the items in the fridge. I couldnt even cool my Heineken cause it was broken, and the recetion doubted me!Each problems were not so big, but there were too many, so I will never use this hotel again. Thank you.

Nice hotel,with great and polite staff.i stayed here from 4th to 8th feb 2020 ..i had booked two standard rooms but since this category wasnot available i got free upgrade to suits.they serve nice indian breakfast. few points i want to improve:1) no dental kit even in suit.2) no fruit platter though it was mentioned3) though we got upgrade they did not explained us the complimentary thing which we were supossed to get..lik free drinks,extra water bottle4) no room to rest once you checkout till you return flight.many hotels have such rooms where you can keep your luggage and rest.its common room used by all guests who are waiting for flights after checkout.

Average Hotel, my experience during 5 night 6 days stay, front office staffs were uncourteous and also not attentive, specialy one Mr Rahul never replied any queries which was very heartening, breakfast was devided in two parts one Indian and other one was said as Continental, unfortunately Indian breakfast was very limited menus and not tasty, first time I found precooked egg omelette was served in so called 3 star hotel, although room was good and clean, In my opinion makemytrip should reconsider before booking this hotel.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. I got a room overlooking the ocean and it was great.

Over charged us for phones calls that we did not make. Also We checked in at 2am They would not allow us to late check out past Noon. They also holt our passports in their office upon our arrival till bill was paid. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. We were shopping for good rate we end up paying same rate that we could paid for nicer area hotel.

We stayed there for 2 nights and we had a great time there. The location is near to Al Ghubaiba bus, Ferry and metro stations.The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are big to easily accommodate 3 adults. Interiors are good. Swimming pool is small but it doesnt make any difference. Gym is well equipped. Food is tasty. Buffet breakfast has choices for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Free WiFi was available. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good place and service and very good staff

Nice hotel for indian tourists and who are on business trip to bur dubai. Very good indian food, they have different arrangements for continental and indian breakfast in two different restaurants on same floor which is nice. Bus stop is just 100meters from hotel where we can find buses to various places in dubai. Metro station is about 1 kilometer, Though who are lazy to walk can always take bus to al fahidi metro station which only approx 3 bus stops away from hotel bus stop which is falcon internatinal bus stop.
