I took a taxi going sport city, on our way the person told me his not around I shouldn’t come again I had to tell the driver to turn back and return me to my destination, when we get back to my hotel I am shot of Diram and I forgot my card and I told him can I go in the hotel and get cash from my room and bring the remaining cash for him, he said I can’t come down from the taxi if I don’t pay. I gave him my Emirate So I can go upstairs and pick money from him, he refuse and started shouting. Omg I was shock. and he started using abusive words on me as a passanger which I never use any bad words on him. Really it’s that how Dubai train there drivers cause I never experienced such since am in this country. He refuse to open the door after giving him my Emirate ID so I can bring money from my room. I told him call the security here he knows meHe insist to collect my mobile + Emirate ID until I can go upstairs and bring money down for him.Why is he using abusive words on me while I never use such in him? That’s really sad and ruin my day.

Completely unprofessional.I am disabled and needed to order handicap taxi to the airport. I called call center and stayed on line waiting for somebody to answer for 20 minutes. After that some sleepy guy picked up the phone and took my order for the next morning. I repeated my order 3 times to be sure. Taxi supposed to come at 7 40. 7 50 nobody was there. I called again and they told me such order doesnt exist. I was late for airport and asked to call another taxi. After 20 minutes taxi driver called me and said it will take home 30 minutes to reach.I ended up running to road and taking normal taxi. I hope I will make it for the flight...

I had to wait 15 minutes and late for my appointment just because your drivers do not keep loose cash for change. It was never a customer’s responsibility to make sure a business has loose cash for change. This is so incompetent. I would have rather taken Uber at least I can get a refund for all the hassle. Also, please hire only those who can speak basic English. With this driver I was with, I am hard explaining where I am going, and he doesn’t even understand Google Maps. His hearing is not as effective as well too. Such a hassle on my part. Very bad experience.

I have been using the service of Dubai Taxi since its inception. The service is good and the drivers are customer friendly. It give a good name to the Dubai Public transport as a whole.Recently I hired a limousine service (a beautiful Mercedes Benz Viano) at a very affordable price of AED 50/= from my flat in Abu Hail to Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 for my daughter taking a flight to Berlin Germany. Since I had some other engagement in the evening I couldnt accompany her. I sent my wife and elder daughter to see off her. The driver (chauffer) was not at all customer friendly. Since I told my family to give some money to the driver in addition to the actual fare, they gave 20 AED to that man who is not at all good for the job considering the best reputation and customer friendliness of Dubai Taxi Service. He need to attend classes on how to be good in customer service.

Terrible global experience when arriving at DXB. We were conducted by rude DTC staff to their premium taxi service without any prior request. We have waited for more than 10 minutes while several hala van were leaving the airport with people originally behind us in the main taxi queue. Finally, the cost was more than 3 times higher than with hala taxi. And only cash payments were accepted. When I asked for a phone number to the driver because this process is a pure scam in my opinion, he refused to communicate anything and blamed me to not have taken attention at the airport. For sure the last time I used this below standards and overpriced service.

Taxi CT0202, 17th of September. 50 min way from desert resort restaurant to Marina was worst in my life. Driver shakes car like first day on road. I was so close to give my dinner back right on this idiot car salon. You have to check his license, it feels like it’s faked.

Horrible beginning of our honeymoon. We booked a taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi airport at premium rate only because the customer service rep said that’s the only option for us as all limousine drivers have PCR tests to cross the border. The driver has arrived on time but as we sat in the car we’ve find out that he doesn’t have the PCR…I called customer care and they put me on hold for more than 10 minutes, I had to hang up because wasn’t sure if anyone is going to get back to me after such a long wait. The situation got resolved in the end, no thanks to DTC.

Took airport taxi from terminal 2. Driver wanted to avoid Salik and took me around on a ride in spite of having GPS on my phone. Finally ended up paying AED 84 for a ride that normally never exceeds AED 50-55/-

The own taxi driver that is supposed any location got lost and didn t know how to arrive to my hotel. the amount added times 2 and we payed extra when we shouldn’t have. very unprofessional when any taxi driver is supposed to know any location. she didn’t even have google maps

It was greatDeduction of one point especially coz driver took time to head start the long distance 1. He didnt followed the map and stopped approx 300 m away from where I requested and had to walk in sun with family and baggage on main highway2. He had to call the call center and start the meter becoz of point 1

Driver was unprofessional and doesnt has manner to speak to clients. He spoiled my day because when i asked him to drive quick but instead of driving he was telling me that this is not an aeroplane. Instead of accept his misbehaving, he called the police at airport and told him i was asking him to drive fast. This is really pathetic and unprofessional, uneducated behavior from his side. I want to mention his name also but may be it will not be right place. Management should revert me back to get his info to inquire him.

To the driver who pick up us from dcc to rigga my biggest dis appointment to you your behavior and actions wont deserve your spot as a driver DTC must fired you imagining paying 33aed and your meter starts 25 aed and when i ask why he keeps on saying theres a problem with system but when i said i will not pay 25 instead 12 aed its the minimun fare he agreed but when we reach home he starts freaking out when we gave 12 aed he is shouting and telling we need to pay whats in the meter which is 33 aed thats really so unfair and shocking ,i tried to make complaint but they keep on telling its a technical issue the driver doesnt do anything about it my god DTC the driver is responsible to what ever happen inside he made a deal so stop covering up you must teach your driver proper manner and you keep on telling in order to get the money you want to turn it into promo code and asking to download your app in the first place i cannot even used that code to other taxi and besides why will i used that if careem is way more better when it comes to services ? Am sorry to say i was really disappointed. I asked the driver to take me to a location. He simply said sorry i am booked already same happened twice, and he just dropped somebody there infront of me. I dont know if RTA provide any pre-booking facility

Some drivers accept the ride and then change the route without customers notification. It happened today, the driver Saeed(Honda Odyssey) accepted the trip and drove in the other direction. After 10 minutes of waiting I dialed, he said he would not come, I asked to cancel the application, to which he replied that I could do it.(Who doesnt know DTC charged 5AED from customer if you cancel your ride)Unprofessional attitude.

Worst experience with DTC, customer service is a joke and unprofessional staff at customer service, their DTC app is big joke, I recommend all limousine drivers to not fall in their trap, they just give priority to their customers, not for drivers, first they don’t have business comparing to Uber and Careem, even if you get trip it won’t accept easily, worst experience with DTC, DTC you need to learn how to deal with the drivers in professional way, they are just child company, they need to learn from Uber if they wanna run the company, their staff are very cheap mentality, you need to grow baby and learn new technology

I called a taxi at (01.00pm to 1.15pm) 07/04/2021 DUBAI 5059 (DXB 393) to go to the Salahuddin (Crowne Plaza Hotel) from Portsaeed near the clock tower.  I intended to go there and come back to the same place.  But, what did this driver do?  The meter was not turned on until we reached Murakabad.  Then turn on the meter and cut.  The meter was run again.  That is, twice he snatched it from me at the minimum balance.  He actually bought me 24 for a trip of less than 20dhs.  I was very upset. Today a Dubai taxi driver made my day special .I was picked up by Mr.Singh car reg no. 25312 from airport terminal 2.He was very courteous and greeted me .When I reached my destination, I paid and got off but left my mobile in the car. After 10 minutes I realised and called back. He said he was waiting for my call and he came back within 30 minutes as promised and returned my mobile. Hats off to this wonderful person.

I loved for over 8 years in Dubai, and this was one of the most aggravating experiences I’ve had. The driver did not acknowledge me at all only my husband, when it came time to pay he clearly had an issue accepting money from me and refused to give me the full change amount. Really disappointing as I’ve had many wonderful taxis drivers over the years

I took taxi from Dubai mall and asked to take me to a building next to Al Jaddaf metro station. The taxi driver pretended like he does not know where the metro station is!!( max 15 min by car from dubai mall) he asked me about the way and at the end he took a long way telling me, he is the first time here.( oh really?!) I had to pay more for this long trip. But why!? Is this my problem, you dont know where metro station is?? If u dont know places in Dubai, u better change the job ? Im a client and I have to show you the way? Thats ur job, not mine !!!!! I think also he lied just to get more money, which isnt ok at all. You cant even trust a taxi driver...Ask always about his navigation, if he does not have, dont take it, because he will charge you more! Be also ready for poor communication, they dont knw any language.Edit: Today a similar problem. I was at Festival mall and took taxi to the building next to Al Jaddaf metro station. The driver had no idea where it is !!! He used his navigation but still he looked like he was lost!! And of course asked me how to get there... Whats wrong wth the Dubai taxi???? Really dissatisfied in the service provided to myself and friends visiting Dubai. The unprofessionalism shown is disgusting. Drivers didnt want to offer their services due to the fact that we were not going far. Which I feel is ridiculous as we are paying for the service and its not a favour to us. We were a group of 6 people going to 2 different locations which would have been a good amount. They literally rolled down their windows asked us dark skinned people where we were going to and when not happy with the answer rolled the windows back up and drove on to the next white couple and picked them up. Disappointed as we expected better service in such a forward thinking country

It took me 4 separate taxis until I found a driver who knew where Medi Clinic City Hospital is! Surely a taxi driver should at least know the locations of hospitals. If you dont know healthcare city, you shouldnt be driving a taxi!

Professional staff trained by the company. They train them for good customer support prior to putting them on the field. Most of them know more than 2 languages. Compared to taxi drivers of other Asian countries their performance is impressive more over you can be assured that if you forget anything and if traced by driver will be returned back many examples to this are a testimony.

I had a very bad experience with one of my drivers. Didn’t know where we were going so sent a WhatsApp message. He then ended up driving me to the incorrect address. When I asked how it happened, he said that this is the information he received. Each time I tried to explain that I hadn’t sent that information, he became aggressive and wouldn’t allow me to finish my sentence. As I was asking him to allow me to explain, he continued. In the end, he said that he’d never even looked at the message that I sent. Was out 104 dirhams

Poor experience with this company. The only advantage they can offer is the price. Absolutely no customer service. Used them twice, first driver was ok, the second one was extremely rude from start to finish.

Being a public company you need to improve the quality of service by appointing professional staff. One or two irresponsible staffs can spoil the reputation of the whole company. You need to maintain the quality and standard of service always. Educate them how to deal with the customer properly before they start the ride.

Just got overcharged going from Zabeel Saray to JBR. The app says approx 45 to 50 aed. Other sites say 30 to 40 aed but we were charged 70. Very unhappy. It was 49 going and 70 coming back. No metre to show the real cost. I wish i had taken details of taxi to report it. Very dissatisfied. I wasnt very impressed with outward journey either. We booked it on the app and received notification it would be 7 minutes. You can track driver and it continually changed from 7 minutes to 11 minutes to 4 minutes to 12 minutes. It took more than 25 minutes to arrive. I could see on tracker that the driver kept driving away from our direction. I assume picking up other fares. Not recommended.

I took a taxi from Mirdif with the taxi DW 062 and was the most horrible trip I ever got. The taxi driver took the long way to bring me to the destination and when I challenged him he wouldn’t stop finding excuses with an attitude why he took that way even though I challenged him with google map too. Also when I asked him to stop where I wanted he was trying to go further mumbling something without letting you understand what he was saying. Watch your trips guys, they take the piece out of you if you are not careful

Not a Dubai taxi as Mumbai taxi!!! They dont know English! No driver has navigation, every second taxi says that it is new and does not know where to go. You cant order a taxi for the new year, all taxi drivers say the same price 300 dirhams no matter where to go.

Highly unprofessional staff..Specially drivers with Pakistani nationality are highly unprofessional (i respect all nationalities but just my observation).if they find out that you are taking short ride they will show their anger and sonetimes even fight.most even do not start the meter and ask to pay cash. CITY like dubai which i love should so something about this issue.Hire better drivers. Thanks

As my car is in service, was forced to use taxi for 3 days. Its horrible. The smell. No hello, no bye, they just ignore if you greet them. For tips no even thank you, no good bye. They drive like crazy, not safe, speeding, cutting another drivers, honking. They are rude if the ride is only 5 minutes, would use any excuses to not take you.DUBAI HAS HIGH STANDARDS, BUT UNFORTUNATELY TAXIS ARE THE LOWEST STANDARDS IN THE WORLD.

Taxi drivers arent getting enough remuneration. I had two taxis refuse me a short trip and one taking extra rounds and ignoring my directions and extended the trips. I didnt have change so I had no choice but to pay him the extra fee. These taxi drivers stole from me as a customer. If the get paid enough maybe they wont have to?

Assallam O Alaikum,My Name is Amad and Im currently working in DTC.I want to rate 0 but unfortunately there is no option for 0 rating.Im working from last 10 months in DTC.I was not working properly because Im suffering from depression from last 2 years and 15 days before DTC blocked my ID.Im coming here to UNBloCk my ID from Last 15 Days..And the managment is giving 0% respond to me.Every Time i came, they said come tomorrow come tomorrow.. they are not listening properly..They are just sending me from one department to another...I swear Im suffering from depression and if Ive done something wrong. DtC will be the responsible for that!Ive not send even 1 dirham to my family..And they are just pushing me to do something wrong with me..

Driver claims that the interior of the cars are cleaned only once in a year. I had to believe him, if thats not the case, authorities please respond. The AC vent is clogged with dust, and I was showered with dust. The driver is also equally affected with the unhygienic condition inside the care, as he is driving it for 12 hours. The passenger is only in the car for average 10 minutes to 1.5 hours. Transport Authority is very keen to levy fines on the drivers, but I would urge the Transport Authority to levy fines on the taxi companies also for not keeping the cars clean.

Tonight my friends and I got totally ripped off by DTC Taxi. We went back from Golden Village Dubai to our hotel, Pearl Rotana in Khaled Abu Dhabi. Previously at Golden Village the Pakistani driver told us that the charge was 3 dirham for 4 km about the same with other taxis. However, when arrived the driver charged us 490 dirham which are double from other taxis for the same kilometers. Totally disgraceful & disgusting. As tourists, My friends and I are totally disappointed. How come such terrible taxi company that scammed and rripped off tourists to continue to operate!!! We cursed that damned taxi company and the driver that made our day in UEA became bad. We hate them!!!

Then finally one taxi stopped by in front of us. When we told him to go to our destination he starts to make excuses saying “oh it’s traffic now there, not good and he told us I don’t know that place blah blah.. so we told him it’s ok we know the place and we have google map. Then 2 guys came looking for taxi too. In the end he picked the 2 guys to drive instead of us.

Honestly, Im sick of this taxi company. I work in a bar and finish at 4am most nights. I only live 30 minutes walk away but after a long shift and finishing that late all I want is my bed. The majority of RTA taxi drivers refuse to take me because its a short journey and doesnt work for their commission. Its absolutely ridiculous!!!! I really think something needs to be done about this because at the end of the day, its their job to make sure people get home safely and quickly.

Dubai taxi is getting worse and worse. Drivers are irrespecutful, rude. It seems that management doesnt care to teach any etiquette to their employees, drivers has no clue what customer care is. The taxi is public transport, we dont have to listen to Indian music or Pakistani news in it; the other day driver dropped me and my 65 y.o.mother opposite Mall of the Emirates, because he didnt want to enter the mall, and we had to cross the road without traffic lights, in 40 degree heat and walk for pretty while to the entrance. Other time driver literally shouted at me when i told to stop next to my building not 100 m afar.
