The place is super cool. The graffiti and art on the wall keeps your eyes going back and forth through our your dining experience. The friendly staff were great and explained all the dishes for us and even made suggestions based on what we told them we could and couldn’t eat and they were delicious.The mojitos they have are SO GOOD but very sweet. The food was very well presented and tasted great. Definitely a must visit.

I visited Babu the Indian fusion restaurant for dinner together with a colleague. I like Indian food, and this was Indian food in a slightly different way. The service was good, and the food was excellent. The problem always with these kind of restaurants is the speed of the food.. If you want to have a normal dinner , you have to order appetizers and mains separately... We were in and out within 20 minutes. Restaurant inside looks good and nice.. Pricing is for Indian food high however the location makes things more expensive..

Nicely done interiors so related in to Indian culture and their menus are surely eye-catching and a great presentation. Food is excellent,with variety of Indian fusion. Staff is so welcoming and polite.Tried their few varieties like Shrimp Nawabi, Angry chickchesy, Birrionaire, pouletmasala, peach mojiito, Hawaii Mohito all were in high standard.

I visited Babu the Indian fusion restaurant for lunch with my family. The location, the venue and the service is fantastic. But if you’re a vegetarian the options are limited, in fact there is only 1 vegetarian main course dish. So we decided to order 4 starters and 1 main course dish. Whatever we ordered was good, the food is mildly flavored and the presentation was good. The prices are a bit on a higher side.

My Wednesday lunch scenes with high expectations from the most renowned restaurants “BABU” was an utter disappointment. However am just talking about the food that I tried. But the ambience and staff were amazing!So tried their most famous kito fries (which i assumed it as keto fries) and was very disappointed with name firstly and the fries itself! It comes like a cheese bomb with pasta chicken and a truck of cheese! Either the name itself has to be changed or the dish..anyways the fries were not upto the mark, as it was filled with cheese and mayonnaise. The portion is way too big even for 3 pax! And if you want to try this you better go with a bunches who can actually eat cheese and love cheese fries. Am not a fan.The second appetiser that we ordered was Mumbai dynamite shrimp, which looked gorgeous and tasted okay, it was a bit too sweet for my palate but it was crispy and the portions size was ok too coz the top part is only the shrimps the bottom part is filled with some kinds papdi fritters which was not going along with the shrimp!We could only finish the shrimp and the fries were wasted as it was cheese we can’t even take it home and eat and also it’s too heavy with diary!We wanted to order for main course but this 2 dishes had made us so very full. Would not recommend the starters to be so heavy as people might not be able to order the main course in such cases.Overall experience was ok 👍🏻

Great service in this small restaurant. Limited seating outside but clearly popular with the locals. Very photographic / instaworthy plates of food but slightly gimmicky for me. More style than substance. But a good meal for the price. Recommended

The look and the feel of this place is amazing , really love it we actually had to wait to get a table.The Food decoration is also 5 star quality but sadly the taste is definitely lives up to its name , the Indian food does not have its original taste - the dishes are made in a manner that will suit the taste buds of other nationalities. I actually stopped taking pictures after 2 starters . Also price point is also a little high - I would give this place chuck !!

Its a small place. But its interiors are very interesting. They dont take reservations on weekends. But getting a table wasnt difficult. I dont remember the names of the dishes that we ordered as their menu was on a tablet and I dont remember. But I have the photos.Overall the food was decent. They didnt have a lot of variety to choose from. Their kito fries and dynamite shrimps were the best of the lot.

Lovely place with amazing decorations and music, they menu its perfectly selected decently you would find something that suites your taste, the food is not very spicy like other Indian rusturants just the right spice that wont burn the flavour away, just try it and see.

Small and cosy place with funky decor and ambience. Excellent and warm service. This is following the new trend of having fusion Indian restaurants in Dubai. Food is decorative and colourful. Taste is mixed blessings. Some dishes are excellent such as the Biryani while others where average. It is a nice place to go but I am not sure if it is a type of place that one would crave for.

Amazing chicken hell

Absolutely delicious food....such an amazing choice of starters with a twist. We had the chicken with peanut sauce and maple glazed mini samosas, bao buns with butter chicken.... Absolutely divine daal makhani...so rich and creamy and mouthwatering chicken tikka!

The taste and variety are excellent and the Restaurant decoration takes you to old Indian restaurants in old Dubai. The ambiance is great and the staff are very friendly

Unique, modern, casual take on Indian cuisine.Portions are very generous.Service is very fast.Menu is plenty and diverse but not all are good.Finding a parking lot is a nightmare on jumeirah road.

Another restaurant in Dubai thats been pulling along its own Hype Train.I really wanted to like this place. The decor was really cool. The vibe too was really nice.What is still dislike is its been over a week since my visit and theres still no menu available online for you to see what you want to eatThe food however was pretty mediocre. Almost everything we ordered tasted the same. They have this very recurring butter chicken sort of a taste to most of the items we tried.We were offered a Rasmalai Cake as compensation for the lack of care as to what actually went into one our mains.Just for the Rasmalai Cake Id give it 2 stars.I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place is jus amazing xclnt food xclnt deco a must visit . Just reccomend to either get a booking or else to xcpt a wait of atlst 45 mins so go wth a prepared mind to wait and try some amazing food

Nice cozy Indian Cuisine, I found it nice place as the diner is simple and creative, we tried Puri, Butter Chicken and Chicken tikka Biryani. Puri and Butter Chicken is good but little over sweet and the Biryani was delicious.

1- food is great, you MUST try the mango tango (picture) and kolkata wings which is a bit spicy (the second picture2- We also ordered butter chicken which was yummy, but for two people we couldnt finish everything.. So pace yourself haha3- if you will order juice, you muuust try the mango lasi !!we didnt order it this time as we were full! It has a great taste and can cool down the spicy taste4- the bill was 150 which is not cheap for a daily thing, but the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the friendly staff and the design is worth going there

I am a vegetarian and this restaurant didnt have any selection for vegetarian food. We actually ordered some starters and left for another restaurant to have our main course.

The food was very delicious. I highly recommend the ribs buryani with cola sauce and the ribs buryani with curry sauce, friendly staff nice atmosphere nice place to have lunch with family and friends. Highly recommended restaurant.

Located in Jumeirah theres no way you can miss it driving past. Its brightly lit signage is sure to attract your attention.Babu serves up some Indian fusion cuisine as Id like to call it. The food is served in a rather fancy manner, and the presentation is on point. However, the taste factor, the most important aspect, seems to have been given the least priority. And the price does absolutely no justice. I paid AED 160 for all of 2 starters and 2 drinks, and left as a complete unhappy customer.I tried the Kolkata Wings which was alright. The flavour of these only came through from the sauce they were tossed in. The actual chicken and coating could definitely do with a lot of seasoning.The Mumbai Dynamite Shrimp though was a TOTAL AND UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT. The shrimps were coated with a batter that were twice its size. This was then overfried/overcooked right through till the shrimp was left extremely dry. The batter and sauce it was tossed in was so overpowering and you could barely even taste the shrimp. Like how do you manage to ruin a dish this bad?! This dish was so bad that we had 2 shrimps each, and asked for the bill. There was noway I even dared to try anything else.For drinks we had the Mango Cardomom Lassi and Vagator Berry Mocktail - and these were pretty decent, yet not justifiable to the price.Also a side note, the menu prices are not inclusive of VAT (not sure if this was mentioned on the menu), so the only time I noticed this was when I got the bill.Im definitely not going back. And if you do happen to go, I sincerely hope you have a better experience and feel that youve got your moneys worth.

They have really good presentation and they take a very different angle on the dishes, i like the daring approach to taste.I believe they can add a few more unique dishes to their menu now. What could be interesting is if they did a dish of the month thing, where they could bring a different dish like their Babu fries or something similar.

Walking past looking for somewhere to eat and came across Babu made in Dubai..and what a find! Street food on a whole new level. Every dish was fantastic, the sticky chicken balls and chat, the zucchini fries, the lamb shank.... delicious. The decor is fun and cool. Definitely worth a visit.

A very average casual dining restaurant with prices of a fine dining restaurant. The starter we ordered was alloo tikki which was good. Dal makhni and bread was average. But the rates are just too high for this kind of a concept. Ive never had a more confusing dining was experience. And aed 13 for a 300 ml water bottle is just robbery.

The food is quite saucy in every manner, its more of sauce than lets add food, then food with a sauce. Value for money is not that great; meal for 2 is 300 AED... A better choice would be Gazebo in the locality of the place.

Great indian food presented in a gorgeous way!

Indian food with a modern twist, we had a very tasty salted lassi and the unforgettable taste of the Cheetos Chilli Cheese Fries with Pasta which is so unique with the Indian spices. Seekh kebab with paratha was okay too. We will definitely visit again and I hope the same quality is maintained over time.

Loved thist place we chanced upon. The interiors are cool and made to present a dhaba feel! We had the dahi poori for starters which had super crispy pooris. We had the strawberry passion fruit and mixed berry fir drinks and for mains the masala okra and yellow daal with naan combo, which was super yum and had an absolutely home cooked feel. I must say we had a taste of their butter chicken which was out of the world!! Huge thumbs up will visit again!!
