Really didn’t meet the expectations of what they have back in India. All the dishes we ordered were okay and the restroom was stinky.

The non veg which we ordered is raw smell and they prepared with frozen sea food and chicken . Try only Idly dosa don’t try any non veg varieties .. waste of money .. visited at discovery garden branch

Anjappar lives up to its mark in terms of quality. Having patronised Anjappar in Chennai and Kuala Lumpur, this outlet in Dubai is similarly excellent in service and quality of food.Try the claypot items (briyani as well as curries). Those are definitely worth the wait and valur for money.

Their biriyani is very different than compared to other biriyani cuisines. I liked the boiled egg they hide inside the biriyani rice.

Though the taste of the food is average, the hygiene is very very poor. I have been to the restaurant 5-6 times. First time we ordered chicken biryani , the taste was excellent but I saw that the chicken feathers in it. it happened almost all the times, the chicken wasnt cleaned properly at all. I think they should improve the cooking hygiene as well as restaurants and of course none wants to pay the money for getting sick!

Nice food resturant in karama

I entered the restaurant hoping good service and quality. I waited 15 mints to give my order, no one came to ask my order till 15 mints. I ordered Natu Kodi Biryani without seeing the menu as they told me this is today special. The Biryani is spicy and Natu Kodi is average. When I finished my Biryani I shocked 😲 to see the bill, it was @65 AED. With that price one can have buffet with good choices.

Confused Staff, Bland food, Costly Menu. This sums up. It was good when I last visited couple of months back, but standards are not maintained now. Only thing I liked here: Mutton bone soup.

I had a very bad experience from Karama outlet. Expected the visit to be worth the money spent but disappointed. Desert served (carrot halwa) was very upsetting. Unfortunate to know the restaurant has compromised over quality. I am giving this place a 1 star because I couldn’t give it a 0 star. Don’t spend your money there. Service from start to finish was not good. This will be my last visit to Anjappar!!

We are not south Indian and not familiar with the dishes names in the menu. Usually one of the waiter help us and explains so well that we end up going to this restaurant again and again but yesterday was really disappointed the same waiter was not available may be because we went early around 8.30pm and the one who was attending us was not interested. In fact he was so lazy even to give us the glass to drink water literally after asking for 3 times he gave us the glass. We were the only customer in the restaurant and still they took 15 mins just to give us the menu that also after we went and told them. Didnt enjoy the food at all felt like staffs were not interested in serving the customers. Friday special was king fish but it was not available.

Amazing food. Get there at 7 before it gets crowded and let Sandeep guide you through a culinary journey you wont forget. Apart from the Rasam, fish and mutton, dont forget to try this amazing chicken which goes with everything, and Egg-Kothu and Appam on the side.

The cheapest place for thali in Dubai. Yes! It is surprisingly cheap yet the taste wasn’t compromised at all. Everything’s just mouth watering. Good taste and service as well. My friends and I enjoyed it so much and made us all sleepy after coz they’re too generous in giving rice, papad, chapati, etc.

Service Absolute Disasterwould have rated Zero if possible. Walked in had to wait 5 10 mins for menu. Special paper menu with no price was given i had to insist for regular menu. Ordered Mutton biriyani and a special meals.biriyani arrived in 5 mins but plate was offered only to one person.. when I requested for a plate the replay I got was like, Sir you will get a plate along with meals”I had to wait for another 15 mins for meals, meanwhile biriyani has become cold...after multiple follow up my meals arrived...but to my shocking surprise biriyani served was egg...For the very first time in my life I walked away from food.

This is a small piece of Tamil Nadu in Old Dubai. I say Old Dubai due to the proximity to the old areas of Dubai. The quality of food is the same as back in India. Everything tastes the same. The service is very good too. If you feel like you miss eating home food and want to experience it again in Dubai, this restaurant will be at the top of your list. Items are reasonably priced so you can visit this restaurant regularly. The restaurant underwent a renovation recently. So the experience should be even better. I must admit I didn’t visit the restaurant after the renovation.

Great South Indian food

Travelled around 50km to have real Indian taste and ended up with a low grade food for 280Aed. Mutton chops was served in smoked manner.

Yesterday we had chicken lollipop...tooooo much ginger garlic chilli...sooo spicy...I dont know what they added...aginamotto or soda...Me and my son got stomach pain and loose motion..They should concentrate on this.People are very curious to eat... enjoyedBut suffering?!?!They have to take care of publics health, which is the most important thing.Dont forget and repeat.Lets hope for the best.

One of the best south Indian hotel for all type of veg and non veg food varieties.Delicious food varieties available, particularly nethili fish fry is the best dish I like it from this hotel and prefer for me always.And also they are delivering food anywhere in Dubai very quickly.

Best South Indian soft Idly and Chatni , you will get very authentic food of Tamilnadu , I love this restaurant for taste of food...definitely recommended...

The service was atrocious! The food was below average. We had asked the waiter for recommendations and ordered accordingly. The prawns in the prawn curry were frozen prawns, which in dubai is a sin as fresh seafood is available throughout the year. The prawns were rubbery yet undercooked! Wouldnt recommend this restaurant based on our experience. However, it seems popular amongst the south indian crowd in dubai. Probably because they know what to order.This review is based solely on our experience at the restaurant based on the dishes which we ordered based on the waiters recommendations. Thats why i have given the second star as it could be the waiter who doesnt know which items are good... or based the recommendations on his own personal taste.

The food at Anjappar has always been awesome. The staff are friendly. But the waiting time for service was too high (Probably due to the Eid holidays). The Air conditioning was not working properly and it was steaming inside. That is why I had given it a 4 star even after the food was good. Would recommend Anjappar management to install wind curtains to control the internal temperature from the external heat.

Worst hotel. Worse service. Completely unhygienic. Tables unclean, leaking ac water on seats, grumpy and rude waiters. If front service is bad, I can just imagine the kitchen!

Nice Tamil Nadu non vegetarian cuisine. Mutton biryani was very nice. Accompanied by a raitha salad and a tasty gravy. Succulent meat, tender and well cooked..Mutton soup was also in the traditional style, with lots of pepper. Staff polite and attentive . Reasonably priced.

Taste coming down. Went here after long Had non-veg lunch on Wednesday at 12.30 chicken dry was too bad may be cooked a day before or early morning. No one to attend & need to call someone for any. When to pay bill gave aed 100, the cashier was not even getting the amount on hand & simply says give change and turned other side. I said don’t have he still was not turning towards to say any. I asked if they accept credit card he reluctantly said S. embarrassing & arrogant guys. Due to workers such attitudes we are afraid to go.

The guy who took our order is not ready to listen us and not asking what we are looking for. He keep insisting us to take some food. Worst customer service ever.3. Be careful with Bill, for us they added some extra items in bill. If we have not asked, we might have paid it.Overall, it was a bad day for me and went out of hotel with full angry and mod out. Its upto ok level only. Some feel the meat on fresh. Dont order non veg plater. They not make fresh, they prepare from excess remaining from other orders. Grab soup is good. I felt its not same like India.

Not sure why this restaurant rated very low, with my family, we have been eating here past two days and not even 0.1 complaint. Quality, Taste, Quantity, Price and the service were excellent. We tried a few chettinad non veg items and veg items including breakfast just perfect, delicious and felt like proper home made dishes. Any reasons if you avoid this restaurant just give it try and surely you will come back.

All other foods are good but the signature nattu kozhi biriyani price shooked me... 70 dhs for 2 person... Better to go for SS bucket mutton biriyani for 50 dhs... 3 person can eat...
