Have been here many time in the past too. This restaurant has never let us down. It has a very happy, friendly and family atmosphere. There are many food stations and the food variety and taste will appeal to all.The service is great as always.Charles who served us for the evening was very friendly and helpful inspite of a busy weekend.The star of this visit was Ivie who went out of her way to make the birthday celebration unforgettable. She did everything in her capacity to help with small details that left a lasting impression. She is in the right industry.Do please visit this restaurant at least once when you are in Dubai.

The buffet is great, fresh, and delicious food, my favorite dish is the red curry seafood. It’s super yummy. Their seat arrangement is a little odd but understandable(social distance is important).Thanks to Shital & Joshua for assisting and checking on us.

Very Good Asian themed Buffet restaurant , great place for Mongolian , Chinese ,Mexican delicacies .Lobsters was good here , Sushis were average , Indian had few good choices only . Steak cuts were bit cold and same for indian dishes .Tandoor items were not up to the notchIt is crowded on weekends and literally have to wait for the counter staff to serve you due to sheer people volume and adherence to covid protocols.Kids play area and kids counter outside which makes it very family friendly and a comfort one ,live band was nice and really enjoyed it

Spice island has kept its concept and food quality the same for years and that is a good thing. Staff are very helpful and get you your orders as quickly as possible. They can be overwhelmed at times when place is full and bottoms up rounds going on. The quality of the food is very good and all varieties to suit different type of diets including seafood, meat stations, live cooking , sushi ( rice can be cooked a bit more in my opinion) , pasta, Indian, deserts and the drinks depending on type of package you take. Value for money is very good .

Today I had the Friday Cinnamon Pirates brunch at this place. Very nice buffet. You can find different cousins like Arabic, Mexican, Indian, Japanese, Italian (you can choose different tip of pasta or risotto),also grill (you can choose what to have and chef will cook for you) and desserts. The food seems fresh and cooked at stations in front of you. Everything what I tried was tasty. And staff are very friendly and polite. I would totally come back

So I’ve been to this venue for iftar, for a New Year’s Eve dinner & also for Friday dinner, many years ago, food has always been strong here.At the Friday Brunch they’ve lovely live entertainment now, and the spread is pretty much the same, with love cooking stations for Indian food, pasta and pan Asian cuisine. Serving a wide array of dishes, and as it’s a Aloha theme, there’s fajitas too ! All this starts at a 159/- which is killer price and yet it’s still on the Entertainer, making it a even sweeter deal.Now the pictures aren’t justifying my dining experience cause food isn’t intricately plated but honestly everything was good. I would recommend trying the short ribs, the stir fried sea food from pan Asian counter, sushi & also some pasta,too. I did pass by the biryani and butter chicken looked interesting too, but honestly who can eat so much 😄For the desserts I could only have some Umm Ali, I had recalled from the iftar buffet that it’s usually good and it was.My shout out to Melanie, for taking care of us, making us pinna colada’s upon request. And also the singer was great too !Recommended!

Indian bread only had Naan, no other bread2. Mexican counter was closed3. Pizza only had cheese, no topping4. Veg dish had no paneer and no dal makhaniEven the quality was not so good eg chicken fajita had little raw chickenHope it can be improved. Will not come again

Was here for an iftar and the spread was decent and fresh. The live counter needs to be organised. A token system could be implemented here and the food be served accordingly to the table. The chocolate mousse was over half way through the evening and was no replenished. On a good note, one of the waiters by the name of Shiva did a splendid job of taking care of our needs. A charming smile to work with. Heres a kudous to Shiva, thank you for your service.

Iftar yesterday at Spice Island was pathetic. The choice of starters and main course was very poor and limited both for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Though the choice of desserts was extensive, the quality of Umm ali, kunafeh, baklava was unacceptable...im surprised how middle eastern desserts in Middle East can be so unpalatable...the chef really must go on a training course...the ambience was just as bad...we had a floor standing cooler placed next to us which was very noisy and had to switched on and off making the seating area very cold or warm. This used to be such a good restaurant in the past...not sure why quality has dropped...the only thing positive was the people who helped us to serve food were very warm and hospitable. Their service levels were very good. However, the the value for money is poor, keeping the food in mind and there are better choices around Dubai.

Unfortunately didnt meet with my expectations this time.

I loved every single thing of it. Though the dinner is a bit expensive, its worth every dirham. The roasted lamb was the bomb, and the Thai Seafood Curry. The dessert selection makes it even more exciting. The juices were heaven. The japanese section was perfection. I did not notice an italian section though, wouldve been exciting to have some pizza, pasta to get along with the salad. I would recommend this to friends definitely!

Spice Island offer one of the good rates for buffet dine in. Thursdays they have grill station at reasonable rate. Wallet parking is available.I felt the staff that served was not friendly and was showing the attitude. They have to improve a lot on customer service. The lady staff was arrogant and was not good at service level. This is one thing that will stop me from visiting this restaurant again.

Food was ok. Has lost its flair as compared to what it was before. Was very disappointed with the servers ....most of them didn’t understand English and seemed like amateurs. Also there wasn’t wide variety of food as it used to be there before. Dismal overall. Wouldn’t recommend to go there to those who experienced eating food when they had won awards for best restaurant some time ago.

The restaurant has maintained its standard for nearly 2 decades. Warm staff, kid friendly. Large spread of food and desserts. Best option are the live cooking stations. An excellent gastrinomical journey. Not too formal, good for families or friends to hangout and enjoy a meal together.

Its a very good buffet is it offers a wide range variety of food. There are Indian, Arabic, Mongolian and Japanese food. The live station was also a great touch to the buffet. At the time of my visit, the place was quite crowded.

Amazing foods and services

My friends and I have always enjoyed the Friday Brunch. The selection of Indian, Seafood and Japanese food is just perfect. There is a nice selection for the kids. I enjoyed the dessert selection but did not enjoy the waffles. It had sugar granules in them and it was not freshly baked. We love the addition of the photo booth.

Went there a few years ago, went back on latest trip and it was dismal. The hot food was cold, the lamb was overcooked and tough.The toilets hadnt been cleaned and were in a bad way.

The buffet is the best thing in this place. Sea food is amazing and very well prepared. Specially the Japanese food. The lobsters and shrips are one of the things I regularly come here to have.Good recommended place specially for a quick buffet

We had a fantastic dinner with special treatment since it was my friends birthday. They organised a special cake for her with bday song. Grills were awesome.

Pretty disappointed to tell the truth, having been quite regularly to Brunch well over 8 years ago, things have changed, and not for the better, the restaurant seems a lot smaller there was a lack of staff and chefs at the live cooking stations and the waiting staff were struggling a little, definitely under staffed, food was OK, but I felt limited... All I can do is remember back in the day, some 10 plus years ago when it was a great atmosphere.
