Very professional company I asked for gas connection through the customer serviceThey send the team next day and in the same time the gas is working.The staff also are very helpful. I came to process my clearance without the required documents and they were able to retrieve them from the system so I would not have to come another time.They are Very good and phone emergency fast response i appreciate them all .

Very unprofessional service team. I have requested for disconnection on 27th July and until now I did not receive my deposit amount. I follow-up with their call center and they mentioned no proof for disconnection request. The call center response was very unprofessional and they disconnected the phone while talking and no response so far. Not recommended at all.

Thanks to Mr. Amish, who was the Operation Maintainance engineer and his team members. Since he joined the company for just over a year, things got done way faster and things got done as promised. The technicians were also more caring as they checked on the customers a few days after the problem was solved. Well done on this!I was so lucky to have gotten his number as calling the office during working hours are just making me anxious. This person who answered the phone calls always said that request has been submitted and there s not much of a customer service there. When asked for time frames, this person always said soon soon. There were times when I had to wait for days until things got done.I have been dealing with this company since 2017 and it has been a nightmare until I have gotten Mr. Amish’s number. He knows how to talk to customer, listened to customers’ request and tried to find a better way to avoid unnecessary problem.Well done Mr. Amish and his technician team!

They are the suppliers for the entire building. Horrible service and very rude whenever you call and speak to someone. They have delays in coming to recharge and repair things. In fact, they were charging us for replacement of detector saying we damaged it, even though we never did. However after days of arguing with shield gas, we raised with our building maintenance, they agreed it should not have been charged to us.

They have to be more electronic in their approach. All their receipts are still on paper. To collect your security deposit you have to submit the handwritten security deposit receipt at their head office. It would be very convenient and time saving for customers to have money transferred through bank accounts.

Just came across of the bill of Oct 2020, the service charges is increased from AED 10 to AED 25. This is obnoxious especially when the Rent/Fuel prices & other Govt charges are all under consideration to the public especially during this pandemic situation & depressing financial situation.Request to the team to please consider some reduction in the GAS BILL as this is already 3times expensive when compared with an ADNOC cylinder .

I had to leave a review because Aamish was extremely clear, patient and communicated the directions perfectly. If I ever use this companys service again it will be too soon. I have lived and worked in several countries around the world and never have I come across such appalling customer service. Their systems are utterly antiquated and good luck to anyone trying to get their deposit back. You have to reproduce a hand written receipt that was given to you years ago! By sheer fluke I had mine, but then had to drive across Dubai and sit in the waiting room to be refunded in cash. If this isnt bad enough, I had to do this while we are still in the midst of coronavirus. Just extraordinary!

At first 3 months year 2018 the process is quite not satisfying. We are confused where or how will we pay? But one day one staff from shield gas came and they inform us all the new process (maybe new management)...starting that day all is fine and agent came by sched to collect payments...

What an abysmal company. Zero stars.Have been trying to have the gas disconnected for 2 weeks now since my first call. They have failed to show on 3 separate occasions when they said they would. I have now moved out of my flat and have had to drive back 30 mins just to let them in, not even a flushing toilet while I wait since everything else has been cut off, and they still have not come when they said they would.Customer service is absolutely shocking. Two phone numbers to call but only one in around 20 calls gets answered. Had about 2 responses without any substance to my numerous emails.No explanation, acknowledgment or apology for the times when they failed to come. This is causing me huge inconvenience and stress.Apparently I will be paying aed 100 for the disconnection service (which will, I presume, involve the technician turning a tap to the off position). What a joke.Avoid shield gas at all costs if you can. Dont rent a flat in a building covered by them if you have any choice.Edit: in response to the reply to my review, around 3 months after the event, my complaint was not about getting my deposit back. I presented my receipt and was refunded. If you read my review, it was about the immense and completely unnecessary difficulty getting someone round to disconnect

WORST COMPANY AND SERVICE IN DUBAI! They came to my door asking for payment, late at night every month. I did not receive any bills or invoices for gas. In addition there is no competancy in their accounting system. They have no records of deposits paid; bills or invoices. When you want your deposit back, you need your original receipt even if it was 10 years ago or you do not get your deposit back? What kind of service is this? What kind of transparency and accountability is this? Avoid Shield Gas by all means possible!!!

My wife came today to get the deposit, we lived in one of Damac building. The process was smoothly as she forgot to bring the deposit receipt ( EID of the tenant is mandatory), the receptionist was agreed to release the money after the final deductions on the final bill and please bring a copy of termination letter from the new company that is handling gas in Damac. Just my suggestion to the Management, please on next refunding process it will be great to do it via bank transfer to avoid the hassle of going to your office which was quite far. Those who will take Metro please stop at the Oud Metro Station and take taxi from there only 12Dirham.

When I had an issues with gas system in my apartment at late night, I placed a call to the technical team and shield gas patiently walked me through what to do step-by-step even though it was very late night for free. Worse service, very very poor ever. I dismissed contract of my apartment due of this Shield Gas company who supplied a gas in my apartment. No good maintenance at all. Were paying for maintenance but even once a year nobody came and check my gas. No proper billing. When I called customer service just keeping saying I will send technician after nothing ! Nobody came. 2nd thing, this customer service dropping my calls. Annoying! !This is stupid things ever. !

Very poor service and support. Their technician failed to give me receipt during the connection last year. I tried to ask for a receipt but failed to give me within a year. After i finish my flat contract, i requested for refund. I provided all the invoices and clearance. It’s been 2 months now and still no action has been taken for my deposit for refund. They said they fired the technician who they found guilty for not providing receipt and took the money. They knew this was a mistake from their side and yet still struggling to get my deposit back. Upper management are not helping. No response from their side til now. Their service and processes sucks.

DISGUSTING PLACE. It is unavoidable to deal with this awful company. The technician Badam came to my place 1 hour late after I thoroughly yelled at him. He came and told me I used 17 units more than what I paid for. I asked him to prove it to me and he couldnt. The meter was reading 5 units and had a credit of 17 units.Went to their office and the lady at the counter was in the middle of her prayers. I asked for my money back and they were questioning me like it is impossible for me to use so little gas. Why do I have to justify how and why I used this little gas??They said their meter is faulty and they cannot refund me the money.Its been 2 days now and I still havent received the money. Lady at the reception is extremely rude.

Unfortunately our building is contracted with this company and have to suffer through the poor quality of service. I am perplexed that a company such as EMAAR is affiliated with this type of company. Booked for an appointment to fix an error in our card and make payments in order to cook meals. That was a week ago. Yesterday, promised to come today. Today, promised to come by 1230. 1230, promised to try. The word promise has lost its meaning with this company. To the representative who reads this, not to get too personal, but I hope you find pride in the job that you do as being in a company like this may quite likely breed a terrible work environment. Please do not bother with your template reply, or any reply for that matter. Ive lost trust in your company. I merely hope that this review reaches more people out there to avoid the hassle, stress, and deception that we have gone through. Everyone should get a chance to cook their food.Update 02March2020: A technician finally came through around 2000. It should no longer be a surprise, but by 1800 of the same day of their last promise, we called them again. Things were a little different. We spoke to a different representative this time and explained the whole situation all over again. But this time, things got done! Within the hour, a technician was at our place and he took care of the error with a replacement unit the next day. Excellent technical work.Now, I will still leave the 1 star review because the front-end of the experience was simply abysmal. Just a few things to note for other clients who have no choice because they are tied to their contract (we have been held hostage by them for 2 years now):1. Do not call them during the day time or office hours. There seems to be a breakdown in communication with the morning crew. Many of the evening crew seem to agree that there is a specific point of problem in the morning. Its got to be either staff or system. Ill leave it to your speculations.2. If you get a chance to get the contact number of your technician, DO NOT lose it! If you dont have it yet,find a way to do so. Avoid contact with the main office and get in touch with your technician if and when you can. Or if you really have to, do so at night.3. The only other technician we know has left. But the one who is handling us now is top notch. If you can get your hands on a Mr. Subramanian, youre in good hands. We directed some of our anger towards him but he accepted it with grace even though it was not his fault at all. He was only informed to come to us an hour before he got there (see 1.). He made sure that we got our problems fixed as soon as possible. He got the spare parts needed within the hour and he got it replaced the next day. Outstanding work in contrast to the rest of the experience.To the night crew that has to handle to mess that the day crew has left you, I hope you find peace and wellness. If not, you guys better find a less toxic work environment. If I could rate the technicians separately, theyd get their 5 stars. But unfortunately, they wear the badge of the company that has caused us quite a bit of grief. So the 0 stars stand.Update: 18th March 2021It is incredibly unfortunate that EMAAR has staked its name with a company like this. They have shown SOME improvement. Perhaps a little more service industry training for the call centers is still needed. We have learned to just handle this company because there is nothing we can do but let our voices be heard. EMAAR seems to have a solid relationship with this company for some reason, so we are stuck. We are home owners in this building too, which makes it suck. The one thing that is not good about the home we bought from EMAAR isnt actually part of EMAAR. In any case, I just wanted to update more complaints here. Have a look around at the reviews, yes there are 5 star reviews, but pay attention to the 1 stars. Many of them would award negative stars. There is not enough space to explain our grievances, so please just stay away from this company if youre fortunate.

Terrible experience. We moved into continental tower and after several times of asking for installation the technicians came. I raised a complain a couple of days ago that there is a malfunction and the gas sometimes works and sometimes doesnt and there is a very loud sound when its operational and never get a response. Lucy has been helpful but where are the rest of the team who can assist!! This is unprofessional and unacceptable for the Dubai living standards

For the domestic consumer Shield Gas provides an appalling service. They use contractors so their is no actual customer service provided. The responses from the contractors are appallingly unprofessional and contacting them to report a problem or ask for customer service assistance is a pointless waste of time. Try calling to get assistance and its a 50/50 chance whether the phone even gets answered. Frequently the phone diverts to a fax number. How last century!!!! My gas meter hasnt been read for more than six months my efforts to make this happen left me feeling frustrated. My gas meter now needs maintenance to fix a problem its taken three weeks to get a response from Shield they promise to turn up to fix the problems and read the meter but Im still waiting and dont hold much hope theyll show. . Shield Gas for the domestic consumer zero rating. I was unable to post this review without rating it by star so I chose one star only because I had too to be able to post this. Zero stars shield.

On 5th August I disconnected my contract at Elite Sports Residence 9 in Sports City. I had previously made an appointment with their office to let them know when I would be at the apartment.Despite the appointment, their technician Badam, went to the building at his will and obviously didnt find anyone to open the door. He phoned me with an extremely rude tone of voice, asking why I was not there.I told him to come back in the evening and he had the nerve to hang up the phone on my face, after saying Inshallah I will come tonight.Luckily this company have a very polite and attentive admin lady, called Lucy. She proactively contacted me after hearing about the incident. She kindly apologized on behalf of her company and she was able to handle effectively my complaint and huge disappointment with the rudeness of their technician.I rate 4 stars only for the professionalism of Ms Lucy. Thanks.

Horrendous service, for disconnection I requested them to come, and gave a choice of any time on two days, they didnt turn up either day, even after speaking to the office. eventually they just told me what to do to disconnect the gas and then to send a picture of the meter. They then sent me a picture of the disconnection report. When I went to the office to get my deposit they charged me a disconnection fee I complained and they said I lied about disconnecting it myself! then tried to charge me 19 months meter maintenance when I only lived there for 12! I have never experienced such shocking service in my life. There was one other customer in the office and they were having the same problems.

Made an appointment to activate the gas, they didnt show up, called again, they said they are coming, and they didnt show up again. Next day the same... In the end I exchanged my gas stove to electric stove so I dont have to deal with this stupid company. Its so unnecessary. Im glad I didnt activate the gas coz, Imagine, it would take 100years to disconnect. Plus, they dont really speak English.*Those 5 star reviews are done by their own. 5star reviews are fake!
