Worth the price! One of my fave Filipino buffet in Deira.

We came their last night at around 8pm to celebrate the birthday of our friend. First the place is so creepy and old the toilet has 24/7 water supply from the ceiling.too many foods leaving uncovered. The most unacceptable part is telling us that seafood menu has no crabs and squid. Filipina lady is not professional on handling customer the way she speak to us is so rude. black lady is nice and so attentive a big hand to her. Over all experience 1/10 never ever go to this place.

The place is dirty and has bad ambience. My wife got sick after eating there, the food was not good and the staff are not welcoming except the African lady + the in charge on reserving tables has no manners and impolite while talking with us. Not recommended.

We dont normally post negative reviews, but we want everyone who has plans to eat here to be aware. Whatever negative comments you see from other people are true. This was the only place we ate in before we experienced an upset stomach. Hygiene is the main issue. Their staff as well were unwelcoming.We also called to complain, but they were in denial and claim no one ever complained on their food. The numerous negative reviews says otherwise.For your safety, dont eat here.

Husband and I visited the place (Deira branch) to try their buffet - food was OK however the place and customer service were awful. The staff in the counter didnt seem to care when customers arrived (she was plainly hiding and busy with her mobile), we had to approach them to get a table. The food was exposed and the flies feasted around them. Last and worst experience, the space on their upper level was so narrow we had to walk sideways hence no social distancing plus you could clearly hear what the person from the other table was talking about. I had social anxiety, crowd in a congested space is not ideal for me. Would not recommend the place at all.

I had very Bad experience ...I will not recommend this restaurant at all.i got sick after dining here.because The place is so dirty.very bad ambience.flies are everywhere.the staff are impolite esp the person incharge of reserving tables she has a very bad attitude.... they dont have Good customer service at all.. i hope one day Baladiya will come and check this restaurant.. they dont deserve even 1 star.. ...

We’ve checked the place and wanted to have lunch as we used to come in karama branch. As we came in there what we noticed is it’s because it’s a buffet style it doesn’t mean that you will just leave the food open in which flies are so welcome to dock in the food and the service crew doesn’t care at all though they see me trying to wave my hand to let the flies goes, poor service costumer because when we entered no greeting no assisting at all what’s their concept or what we need to do and in times like this HYGIENE is the number one in the list and with that criteria I cannot recommend this restaurant at all unless they will change for a better in hygienic protocol and good costumer service.

Food are tasty and satisfying but unfortunately the service was unsatisfying. Staff was not greeting and seems to be so tired that they forgotten customer relationship during the entire service. We are talking to them regarding orders of food but they are just passing by without addressing it. They even questioning if we are sure on what we want to eat. Not even one smile from any of them. Hopefully nextime they can improve this as they have a big potential when it comes to the quality of food. All the best.

Traditional Philippine food, offered different type of food. The food experience is nice at all but they need to add English description under the food titles plus they don’t accept cards or Apple Pay... Only Cash!!!!

Flies. Flies everywhere. Ang daming langaw as in! Yung crab ko may langaw! Poor hygiene. We tried and so dissatisfied. 39, ok cheap, but that doesnt mean you will not do something about the hygiene. Good advert to lure people to come.

Bad experience bad service after we found place thank God . Other people was removing our stuff to set while we are getting food . The table was dirty cleaned it by myself after they try to clean it . Dont advice going there unless you like unhygienic places . In one word poor place

The food is nice from the older branch which I really enjoyed. This place I didnt actually like it and the service needs improvement and extra staff. The food section are not covered so there are flies everywhere. And also the raw food that you pick to be grilled are also not covered. The place needs some new rules for cleaness and hygiene as this is food and it could cause a lot of harm to individuals health. Please management do what is required.

The food is actually great but the service is really bad. The fact that your asking the costumers to follow guidelines your staff should follow the guidance. The one who assisted is not wearing gloves and the mask is not properly used. The staff approach to us is not so friendly and as if hes not happy that we are there. Definitely Not coming back nor endorse it to friends because of the service.

The food was good but the person who is assigned in serving the food was so masungit and so masungit.

We used to eat here coz we loved the food,especially their halo2.Today is our first time to dine with their unli buffet.Asusual food was great.When I am about to pay for 2,i gave 500 aed and feels sorry for bot having a change.That changes the staff’s face (not in uniform) and suddenly told me that suppose to be we were to be charged with our leftovers.I was wondering what was it and said “i saw 2 isaw which were not consumed”.I realized that 2 isaws was burnt so its so bitter.i kept quiet though.(but i cant forget her facial expression like we are like beggars.im willing to pay if she will eat thise 2 burnt isaws.but since its covid,i pitty her if she looses her job)Then i ordered pandesal.I was so shocked that she gave me my change with her gloved hands and served me the pandesal with the same.holding the money and the food in the same hand?thats disgusting ate.lesson learned.i know we are all stressed.but we are customers,we earn our money.customers pays your salary,so be discreet to them.not to mention that the whole time were eating was full of flies all over.that didnt concerns u?ur more concerned of my 2 burnt isaw that was not eaten.but “langaw” is considerable?So sad.im not coming back again and will not recommend.

A wonderful restaurant that serves Filipino dishes and frequented by Filipino expatriates with their families and friends. Birthdays and other special occasions can also be held in the restaurant with provided amenities. The food was also delicious and with good presentations and staff service.

Only CASH is accepted here. If you’re planning to come here, better have some cash ready. They don’t have a credit card machine.Food wise opinion: this is a Filipino restaurant serving wide variety of dishes known in the Philippines (NO PORK). Seafood, barbecue, street foods, pancit, and some very good soup.They don’t have much of tables in their restaurant. I must say they have approximately 12-14 tables in total.

1 star for the sake of writing this review. We took our seat indoors downstairs, there wasnt that much customers that day, the staff told us to transfer seats upstairs because the seat is reserved for at least 4 people which the seat is comfortable for 4 people only, it isnt that big, tbh. The staff were also busy ignoring us, and attended immediately to the customers who came later than us.

This the right place if youre looking for a good boodle fight with friends. Its nice, cool and clean with very accommodating crew. Why I gave it 4 star is because I was expecting more salmon flavor on the Sinagang na ulo ng salmon. Honestly, it doesnt taste like salmon but more like sour vegetable soup, but still good though. Aside from that all are great. Eggplant are cooked the time you order.

Bulalo and other foods are great aside from the Crab. Quality is so poor and doesnt taste good also.

Actually compare to the other resto beside them this one was greater than them, interior design very classic, the people especially who assigned upstairs shes really amazing very energetic you ask her whatever you need and she will give it to you.. Im sorry i dont know her name, but shes cute, small but terrible.. Keep it up! Food was not so sweet which is great and less MSG that is good! Please dont put any seasoning in your foods that makes it more natural and healthy stay as it is... ;)) well recommend your resto for sure.

Visited today with family. All food tasted the same. Everything is sweet. No one else .. Food is not even hot. Its cold including the rice.No proper implementation of social distancing. Full packed in the buffet area. Not afraid of ballads maybe?Isaw cooked after we ate. We are full but wont come back anymore. Karama branch is cleaner compared to deira branch

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE happened last night at Carinderia by Tandang Sora. If you would like to order the food of your choice, I dont suggest for you to visit here, because there were the staff who would only humiliate you and treat you as bad as they could.All we want is to eat well and have fun with our family. The first time we encountered an encounter we were confronted by a fnb staff. To be honest our hearts are very close to those who work in the fnb, since most of us came from the same industry, and all this.WHAT HAPPENED last night.We were from Simbang Gabi, then we decided to have our dinner at SORA SAND, our super regular customer since 2016. We have 4 plus 2 first timers.THEN, before we go there, we already know what were ordering. We ordered 2 for AED 80, which is the Manila and Batangas. Then they took our order. Okay. around 10PM, we have already ordered, 10:45 PM we are still still in the mix. He said they had saved us before he was gone. My older brother, our food addict, but his response when he turned away was miserable and miserable, which is why right? Then we proceed to talk and have fun while keeping food. And YES, it turns out, the first one to put it was JAY, JOLENS seems to be the name. Putting Rice is not gentle but just go, but we cant forget that he said THIS IS THE FOUR THINGS - we say ouch but we just eat.THEN we asked for icedtea, which is refill. THEN thats it, he suddenly stormed out, and he yelled out with an attitude of automatic addition to get you some rice and we asked again because we couldnt get it. inulit nya. but we asked because it was rice. Then we were embarrassed because we were good for 4 just so we ordered and all these.FIRST OF ALL, there is no probable cause if we cannot, no probation if we pay additional or we have to change our order. BUT in the first place we were not informed about the rice and all these things haha. But thats a shame for us, and JOLENS thinks its like were starving to death and not talking to each other properly is another thing and beyond.We asked well, but the response was in our favor. foreigners are already looking at us, but at that time, my first time, we could encounter that. We were just trying to explain that it could have been better if we had been informed when we were just ordering, we could have changed our order or ordered something else.THEY CANT FUCK WHAT THEY HAVE MAKE TO US, as if we didnt have to pay the peg.After that we stopped eating, I have no appetite, I just got a stick of ISAW and we stopped. super annoying no appetite. Ang sad haha.We tried to ask for the MANAGER, which was the time to come and at first he didnt want to talk to us because he said he was taking our order.Im sorry but MANAGER didnt sincerely, didnt even bother to offer and explain the other options, why JOLENS is, and we asked for JOLENS so we can understand why he is, but NO. NO sincere APOLOGIES. and the MANAGER, but we insist on paying it even if the food is not low, there are no discounts or anything. BUT its okay.I DONT KNOW IF WE ARE STILL COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE, AND ONE THING IS FOR SURE, THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDABLE PLACE AT ALL. SIGURO. FYI was a great message for my brother when you renovated, because we were bothered that you were already doing business.
