This koshari is highly recommended, the taste is very rich, we ordered 2 special koshari, each was 22 AED, the taste is really good and the quality of the service ☘️We tried the rice pudding both the oven and the regular both are good and tasty, the regular was 7 AED.The service is good and the staff are friendly and accommodating.Must visit, recommended

They say that this restaurant is a branch of the original one in Cairo Egypt. The one in Egypt is a legendary icon. Kosheri is an Egyptian street food consisting of pasta, hummus served with burnt onions and tomato and chilli sauces. Very cheap satisfying and affordable. Abu Tarek in Al Barsha serves very good Kosheri but still falls short to be excellent as the one in Egypt. The restaurant is simple and basic but clean. Nothing is fancy here so don’t expect any fine dining.

Incredibly delicious and incredibly reasonable koshary can be enjoyed at this restaurant in Al Barsha. It needs a bit of walking from Mall of the Emirates but it worth visiting and tasting koshary here even though you need to consume some of your energy by walking a little distance. This juicy koshary will revitalize you!

The story starts when I was watching Egyptian movie at Sheraton Creek Hotel Dubai. Then I saw plate of Kushari during the movie, I started looking for nearest and best Kushari near by me. I found Abu Tarek Kushari and know Abu Tarek Koshari and I have tired it in Egypt.The Service:The experience started from here. First reaction The restaurant was very very hot AC was not working, Then 2 Workers was fighting with very loud sound with un professional way of respecting customers.I stand by myself to bring Water and Pepsi since everyone was running and escaping from service.The Taste:At a moment I was thinking to leave the place. I ordered something called Special (The plate came with our rice it was finished, the macaroni was the cheapest in market. Taste is not related to Kushari at all.The Tomato sauce was kind of okay.The Cleanliness:The place was not that clean but I realized that this is normal for a restaurant in this area.My experience:I will never try it or advice anyone to visit it.Message to the Restaurant Staff:Best of luck and I hope to take my experience into advantage and try to improve the service and food quality.

It tastes like any other koshari place. It is way overrated. Ordered a special koshari & a normal koshari, could not tell the difference (they claim it has more lentils & chickpeas)On the other side, umm ali is not worth a try.

Very very very bad experience. Poor service, hygiene problems, and they are under staffed.When my wife and I arrived there there was a waiting list. I put my name no problem and waited right outside the door until I was next in line. They gave one family and another group tables although they came after. and when I complained about it they said sorry its a mistake we missed to read your name. When they finally gave us a table it was very dirty with the floor all dirty too. I asked the waiter, the one who was cleaning, to clean it for us and he ignored me three times. Then I heard him talking to the other waiter telling him I will not serve him anything. The other waiter was busy with the orders for the remaining tables and couldnt clean our table. I then went to the girl on the cashier and asked for the manager who was not there. then I asked her how can I make a complaint about the bad service I was getting. she replied with a cold face go online. I was about to leave furiously as the cook himself came to me and apologized on behalf of the others saying that it is because they are understaffed and the manger is not helping. he then cleaned our table and got us the food (because the other waiters are refusing too).The food is good but not the best. I will not go there again. I would rather get an average food with good service than having a good food with terrible service. Anyway you can find better koushary in several other restaurants.NOTE: Your job is based on customer satisfaction. If you cannot achieve that then you will loose all your customers and their circle.

#koshari It’s a staple food for Egyptian and why not for us 😜. Healthy and tasty meal for every one. At the base chick peas, pasta , broken rice and the hot tomato sauce topped fried onion makes mind and stomach pleased. Mixing Lemon juice gives extra sour taste and spicy sauce is an AddOn whoever like to have spicy food. Personally I add more lemon juice and very little spicy sauce.

A strange but enjoyable experience of having a beloved staple from the land of Egypt.This was a Koshari-only restaurant, something I was amazed and intrigued by.The Koshari was fresh and clean and the different sauces and toppings were fun to add and resulted in a delicious mixture of several things.Id like to come here once in a while but having no sort of meat or chicken makes it an unusual meal for me..Nice experience, definitely give it a try!

Mostafa was a fantastic host and showed us how to eat our first traditional Koshari :-) Amazing how something as simple as chickpeas, lentils, pasta can taste so good. The tomato base sauce and garlic vinegar added amazing flavour and if you want to add hot sauce you can do this also. We came back the very next day for the same experience, extra crispy onions is a must. Tamarind juice is very nice. Highly recommend.

Koshari is good and staff is friendly and everything is fine but the AC, I was sweating while eating as the place was only using 1 AC out of the two they had and it was hot inside even though I didn’t use the spicy oil.Please add AC and cool the place.

Koshari Restaurant Located in Al Barsha Near Lulu hypermarket.Pretty cool place with a very traditional Egyptian dish - koshari! AED 10 only. Our friends invited us here for dinner, which was a nice place to hang out and eat. The dish for me was a little on heavy side, but it was pretty good!Place is very popular and busy! You should definitely try it out!Portions are big, so definitely get a medium size or share with friend.For desert you should get the rice pudding😋😋

KOSHARI IS HORRIBLE That was my impression when I ate it for the first time at a 5 star hotel in Dubai. Then I was introduced to Abu Tarek by my Egyptian friend. Now I am in love. The place could be 5 stars if they clean it a bit better. Hygiene isnt the best but the food is; and thats what we go there for.

Fast, authentic, quality, delicious and affordable koshari!!! That’s the only thing they do and they do it right. If you want to talk to focusing on one thing and getting it right, this is the place for Koshari!I haven’t eaten in yet, but the takeout service is above average, place order and in and out within 5 mins.When I need get my fixed for Koshari, this is the place that I’ll be getting it from.

Koshari Abu Tarek are really good its is one few restaurants that do koshari very well clean and affordable. I have not tried the dine in only takeaway. I orderd koshari for 4 person and it cost me 65 dh. Believe me the quantity of not only serves for for but it served for all 8 people in our home really good and well done

Was heading to Mall of Emirates and thought of finding a restaurant around rather than eating in the mall. Found Abu Tarek, and I would say I had there the best Koshari (the famous Egyptian meal) in Dubai. I chose the big portion which is good if you are hungry. The rice, pasta mix with fried hummus and red sauce all tasted amazing. Service is quick, you order and you get your food. Highly recommend.

Well, if you are a vegetarian guy who is looking for options .. trust me this must definitely be in your check list .. this Egyptian dish goes by the name koshari is a blend of chick peas , green grams, macaroni, rice, noodles, fried onion flakes etc etc it feels like a complete balanced diet put in a bowl.. the spice levels are normal by default and you are given a special tomato sauce and a spice sauce to suit it your taste bud .. check it out youll never regret it!!

Best koshari in dubai so far , best value of food vs price , I like itThis review is for non-Egyptain to understand what to eat and howKoshari is one of the most famous food in egypt, Abu Tarek is one of the oldest restaurant serving it in egypt , the Koshari consist of rice with vermicelli, pasta ( over cooked pasta for the italian friends 😀) lentil , and fried onion with chickpeas , then the tomato paste is served separately in another dish as it has to be hot while serving , you will find 1 stanlessteal pot shape on the table always which is the spicy paste , first use a few drops as it is normally very spicy and another one with long neck which has the vinegar , lemon ,salt , garlic and cumin which can be over the plate to change the taste and give it little acidic taste which is worth tryingTry always to mix the plate before eating to enjoy the full taste of everything , if you feel not possible then ask for an empty plate and take little from the main plate and mix it outsideEgyptain normally take rice budding after koshari as dessert , it is a perfect match with the Koshari , dint be shy to ask about anything people there will be willing to help you to choose and enjoy your meal .
