I cannot recommend this shop enough. It was my first time trying Egyptian food and I was really impressed. I tried Alexandrian liver dish and sausage platter and both of them are very good specially rhe liver. We went back to this restaurant after 1 week to try their pizza and they suggest the tuna and shrimp which is very amazing and cheap. Al Aumdah is now one of my favorite Egyptian here in Dubai. 2 Thums up!

Recommended by an Egyptian friend, Al Aumdah is probably one of the best restaurants in Dubai for Egyptian cuisines. Authentic, delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant is not big but has a friendly atmosphere. I loved everything I ordered - hummus, beef dish, salad, orzo soup and the falafels were exceptional. Highly recommended.

Tried first time their Kashory and it was amazing, taste was very good and it wasnt that spicy. I tried this dish 2nd time in my life , its a pure Arabic dish originated from Egypt. Quantity was really good and along side pickles, salads we cool. Usually on weekends its little bit more busy but I suggest that you must try it once from any of their branches

We had always wanted to try Egyptian dishes but did not know where to go to until our lovely Egyptian friends brought us here!I loved everything we ordered: Koshary is a must! Lots of carbs but you don’t feel heavy at all. It’s for sharing so make sure to bring someone w you when you eat there and to also enjoy the food! We had falafel sandwich for takeaways.Will surely come back! I just hope they open more branches in Dubai.

Tasty delicious Egyptian authentic food, friendly and kind staff, lovely atmosphere, ideal for family and friends.. highly recommended! The only bad thing abt it is tht u have to wait outside for ur order or till they free one table in rush hour especially on Fridays! Prices are a bit high for some items but generally reasonable!

Egyptian restaurant has many branches in Dubai and Sharjah serving typical Egyptian food what is known in Egypt as Foul beans and Falafel what you can call Egyptian green burger as it is made of beans, some green leaves, onion, and some spices .... they also serve Koshary which is a mix of rice, macaroni, brown lentils, and topped with tomato sous and fried onions ... they also serve some barbecue chicken ... the taste of Foul and Falafel is very yummy even Koshary and barbecued chicken and prices are cheap as you can order a platter of Makali fried items like potatoes, egg plant, besides mashed potatoes, boiled egg, and Foul only for 15 aed or bigger platter for 21 aed ... the location is very easy opposite to Lulu hypermarket al-Barsha and not far from Mall of the Emirates ... al-Aumdah restaurant is an experience shouldnt be missed .

Its nice to see how you can see everything that is being prepared for you, from creating the dough to flipping tricks and youll be amazed how fast they serve. Its always nice to explore Egyptian cuisine. We are a big fan of the Egyptian pizza. Also love their koshari and the custard with nuts fatayer. Would love to explore more of their menu soon.

Traditional Egyptian restaurant, the food is good with affordable prices, but the place itself could be better, as it needs more cleaning and organizing, most of Egyptian local food are available like koshary, foul, falafel and also pies and pizzas.

10dhs delivery, menu prices are not the same when ordering delivery, received cold food, and they didnt get visa card, emphasised on me going to withdraw after I requested on phone.

The person taking orders doesnt understand what is ordered....we ordered sharwama with more garlic they made is without garlic. It was very dry. Complete mood spoiler. I heard a lot about the place but a complete turndown.

Very bad experience with management today i order chicken fatayer with cheese when the delivery guy came he gave us cheese fatayer it’s totally change when i call to the manager he is urging with me even he is not accept her mistake..Anyways he gave me chicken fatayar after alot arguments..Taste was good I’m regular customer of al amudah rest..But please change the manager who can understand English..Thanks and Regards.

Loved it. The kind of variety they offer is amazing. Its not your usual spicy fast food you get everywhere in Dubai. They have a wide variety of sandwhiches to offer at very cheap rates. Must try place if you are anywhere nearby. Worth it.

Food used to be nice but when I ordered pasta with meet, found hair and pieces of bone. I spoke to the manager of the restaurant and guess what he told me!!!We cant find a proper butcher for now and he suggested me to buy anything but meat for now.What the hell....
